- On May 16, 2022, Cave In played a surprise matinee show with Converge at Little Brother, a tiny coffee shop on Rainey Street, here in Austin, trying out mostly new material off of Heavy Pendulum. The place, inside and out, was about the size of a McDonald's bathroom. Hundreds of people showed up and everybody went fucking apeshit during Converge. Expander and Easy Prey opened with Nate Newton doing double duty on bass with both Converge and Cave In.

What a beautiful spot for this concert. Does anybody know is this part of a festival? If this is just some random street concert, we would never have something like this in Chicago.
It was a surprise, "secret" show the day after the Oblivion Access festival (formerly Austin Terror Fest) in downtown Austin. With Converge. The venue was so small that the crowd spilled out across the street and onto the far sidewalk. The cops never showed up for some reason lol.
