Egypts Rare and Deadly Storm

- In this video, we are in the process of leaving Egypt when a storm came.
Egypt had its most deadly storm in decades and it happened during the coronavirus.
Egypt 12 days of rain per year and in the past few hours they have had more rain than they get in the entire year.
The streets are flooded and there are thunder and lightning all around us.
Can we make it to the airport and get out of Cairo Egypt before the storm peaks?
The city of Cairo also has many sick people with Coronavirus
We need to get out as Coronavirus cases continue to climb and countries are beginning to block Egypt from Travel.

Really cool view of the pyramids from your hotel. 12 days a year for rain is crazy. I bet they are happy to get rain. Camel is just chilling on the road. I prefer getting to airport early also. The roads is like a river. Hope you have your phone charger. Oh man, she gave you the corona seat.
Nope, Camels hate rain apparently. This storm killed 20 people, when our plane took off I thought we were going to die it was the most intense ten minute plane take off ever the entire plan was shaking and we were going straight up and were dropping hundreds of feet then shot up hundreds of feet. so glad we made it out
Meghan and Quincy You guys got lucky then. I thought that was the end of the storm when you flew out. Can’t believe it killed 20 people. Glad you guys are safe. And you should play paper rock scissors for the Corona Virus seat next time 🤣

We didn't have much of a choice, the roads were beginning to flood, our driver told us it was difficult getting to us and that he expected roads to close soon. Which they did, this was the biggest storm Egypt has seen in a long time, many people died unfortunately. What you are seeing is day 1, early hours of the storm. :S
