Rhobust Kardstokk is a good name for an AdMech Magos. Great work, as ever. A welcome, relaxing breaking from the world. I imagine that Great Uncle Ian gets royally brassed off with the gun barrel repeatedly smacking him around the head as the turret turns. Alan Bennett reading the closing poem is an unexpected treat; champion, indeed.
Wow, that's a pretty impressive Chaos predator, truly the predator of Chaos. To cut the long story short, thank you so much for the awesome videos and spectacular painting 👏👏👏
Love your resourcefulness with extra materials. Definitely lends itself to an excellent Nurgle tank! 👏 Abaddon’s going to be wondering where all the Black Legion armour has got to when the Death Guard are better supplied than he is!
5:40 this is what I want to do. Get some Oyomaru, make some molds, and then convert to my heart's content. These old models aren't getting any less rare. It's been a long time since I had a GW employee friend who could get me bits
Beautiful work, excellent painting, and you're right about the four chaos power specific vehicle cards needing to go on a vehicle that had been possessed. Don't forget, you do all the datafax bits, then possess the model for +25%, *then* add further vehicle cards, rather than multiplying the vehicle cards as well.
oooo another retro tank vid, going to be a good watch. i restored my own retro rhino (whirlwind, going to use the missiles for something else down the line) a while back thanks in part to ur first restoration vid u made with the ultramarine predator tank.
This has to be my favourite video of yours so far purely because the craft you put into it! With the advent of 3d printing, seeing this kind of conversion was impressive and nostalgic in all the right ways! I really appreciate these videos, keep up the outstanding work, heretical or otherwise!
I've been looking forward to this, I have fond memories of seeing it in the 3rd edition rulebook and thinking it was so cool, but unfortunately could never get my hands on one as a 12 year old.
Such a great take on the classic - if I hadn't watched the video, I would have sworn you'd sacrificed an original Predator and Great Unclean One to Papa Nurgle, just one reason I love your content... Keep it up, good sir, unlike those old metal autocannons... 😉 (Edit for my pride - I know this Predator isn't the "first" ever, or original, I meant original kit...)
Great video. Brilliant reconstructions of a Predator. On top of that, an epic conversion. And the "piece de la sicknesses" of a paint job. Along with the fond memories of the White Dwarf pics and the peom, perfectly read, by the way, may well make this my favourite video. So far.... Top notch.👍
Nurgle's blessing helps salvage damaged vehicles almost as well as the mekboy wif a spanna. My brother got a regular Marine dreadnought in an eBay job lot of minis that had been smashed up by some accident (seller mentioned a bowling ball
I must admit, I am jealous of your drive. Back when I was involved in the hobby, I had a great desire to play, but low motivation to paint. However I did want to play with a painted army because it just wasn't the same to play with unpainted minis or proxies. You seem to have been blessed with a big desire to paint, and being less focused on the wargaming. I could've used some of that motivation too. 😄
I was very similar back in the day, but I turned it around while playing 15mm historicals for a while. After a decade not doing anything I now paint up to 100~ 40k minis in a month (not to a crazy standard, just solid tt-quality). The trick is to find a realistic goal that you can achieve easily and a bit of discipline. Once you have finished a mini project you get completely hooked up on the high of it and want to do more:D Just don't start with a big army in mind. Find a process that is enjoyable for you and you can get there really easily. These days you have so many tools and tutorials its a lot more fun and less daunting to get into it than it was 10-15 years ago.
Thank for the shoutout (@nurglerific) I found some new artists to follow! Some fantastic work out there, my friend. And you are an inspiration to us all!
I loved seeing the conversions that were featured in codexes and white dwarf. I do like it when they include the odd one these days, though they lack something of those older ones.
The famous possessed tank continues to inspire, what a beast, excellent job and almost Orky cobbling scrap and parts into a glorious new monster to terrorise table tops. Uncle Ian is great, wonderfully yucky .. end of vid entertainment had me laughing, 👍
Excellent work. I like yours even better than the original with all three barrels matching. Gives it a more aggressive look. Just the other day, I discovered there were two metal inquisitors in terminator armor, one with a hood that I don’t have. So, I’ve got a new metal mini hunt underway for the first time in a while. Exciting times
This is so amazing, I always looked at my 2nd edition codex and wondered how they did that tank in the picture and never thought I’d see how. Looks awesome 🙌🏼
Well Matthew, you've pox marked yourself. 😅 I mean you've possesed your tank. Nurgle possesion that is. Great Uncle Ian to be exact. 😅 Nice job and thanks for the video inspiration 😊.
Greetings and Salutations! This was an interesting project. I have 2 of the old Predators and my son purchased one of the Plastic/Metal hybrids which he intends to build as a Khorne vehicle. I love your content, just keep it coming. All the best, Billi.
I don't know why but I really think the song needs to be redone in the style of William Shatner. Coincidentally I was gluing guardsmen together while watching this.
back in the day I found a few mk.I chasis rhinos and other tanks for a dirt cheap price. the lot also included 11 boxes of old 5 man plastic plague marines. some of the mk.I kits were in bad shape, so I converted all them into nurgle vehicles. one catch was they were significantly smaller them mk.II's, so I beefed the inside and underside of the tracks with 4 mm foamcore after I cut the treads. I still have them and they look fantastic...
I made nurgle terminators in 2nd edition, by melting with a lighter and soldering iron the plastic terminators that were from space hulk and later released as a boxed set. They were drippy, disgusting and very effective.

What a lovely outro poem. The poor Chaos mechanic lost a bad boss, and gained a good friend. For the Rotfather's gifts are generous and fecund.
😍
@@Miniscape-wh40k it was a great poem
Excited for the Nurgle Land Raider, discovered by Arken Nurgle
This truly is the nurgle predator, predator of nurgle
Discovered by Steve Nurgle. Hence the name
GET TO THE THUNDERHAWK!!!
I heard this comment in his voice 😂
Those wooden pieces are a great touch. Really puts it in Death guard context since they have wood furniture on their boltguns too!
Thank you 😊
You're low tone and flat humor is top notch, love your builds
Thank you 😊
Wow, that's a pretty impressive Chaos predator, truly the predator of Chaos.
To cut the long story short, thank you so much for the awesome videos and spectacular painting 👏👏👏
Chaos Predator, Predator of Chaos.
Love your resourcefulness with extra materials. Definitely lends itself to an excellent Nurgle tank! 👏 Abaddon’s going to be wondering where all the Black Legion armour has got to when the Death Guard are better supplied than he is!
😅 yes, well it would help if he managed to survive a whole game
5:40 this is what I want to do. Get some Oyomaru, make some molds, and then convert to my heart's content. These old models aren't getting any less rare. It's been a long time since I had a GW employee friend who could get me bits
Not many people know this but he’s called Great Uncle Ian because he was discovered by Arkhan Ian.
The fun you are having Matthew, is so apparent. ❤🙂👍
Good 😊
Nurgle/Death Guard! You love to see it. Lovely paint job
This is such a well-timed video for me. I literally just picked up my old 2nd Edition Nurgle army and decided to build out the Predator!
Awesome. ❤❤❤😮❤❤❤

A fascinating insight as to how the tank got that way!
That's a grand ole manky tanky there. Great improvising for the missing panels.
More of that. So nice
Oh boy, a video on this tanky lad, yay! I've seen enough of images of him on Instagram, finally I'm able to see the whole thing

You are very kind
Awesome poetry, well done! And the conversion is stunning!
Best vid yet, fantastic conversion sir.
I’m so excited for this

Some champion rhymes right there good sir. Grandfather will be pleased with this conversion.
I've been looking forward to this, I have fond memories of seeing it in the 3rd edition rulebook and thinking it was so cool, but unfortunately could never get my hands on one as a 12 year old.
I think the next part needed might be a Sonic Dreadnaught w/ Noise Marines or perhaps a Defiler for Khorne.
What a glorious Predator build! Can't wait for the Landraider!
I think this is your best video/ model. I love kitbashing and mixing metal/ plastic/ putty. More!!

Thanks 🤩

i started a modern chaos army this week and this video made me realize i've got to kitbash some tanks for them, love your work!
Ah ha yes! I love the old Rhino chassis, it was so rotationally symmetrical.
Delightful video. Love the conversions and the saving of old stuff!
Chef kiss on that Brian tank repairer flow

Tremendous work! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you too 😊
Great Uncle Ean 😂 Amazing job!
As always, please keep up the fantastic work! Your videos are just fun to watch, humorous, and I am amazed at how you restore these models! A
Thank you very much!
This is giving me some great ideas for my own possessed vehicles
Beautiful work!
It turned out great!
It brings me great joy that melta panel got a new lease on life as a predator

Love this kinda stuff. I never got to enjoy the older versions of WH40k as I joined at the tail end of 7th
Hey man! Thanks again for wishing me happy birthday on instagram! Awesome content (and music) as always
You're welcome
That’s John Cooper Clarke on the front glacis plate, mouthin’ off like a beat poet great!
I love these videos. Its almost like Howard Moon from the Mighty Boosh is a Warhammer nerd.
🤩
Why did my Orthodox self think when you said nails on his hands I imagined him crucified on the tank?
Was that a sorcerer of Nurgle I spotted at 18:37? He looks fantastic! I'd love to watch a video about how you painted him.
Unfortunately I didn't film that process.
@@Miniscape-wh40k What a shame! But, such is life. Regardless, thank you for making your videos, they're always a great source of inspiration.
@loranthewise no worries. I sometimes like to paint just for the sake of and not for content which is why not every project will become a video.
I don't know why but I really think the song needs to be redone in the style of William Shatner.

Glorious
Papa nurgle’s armored corps is looking terrifying as it should
🤩
I like the mental image of a random plague marine hammering a great unclean one to a predator tank.
*bang* "OW." *bang* "OW." *bang* "OW."
lovely
I'll admit that while I don't really like old Warhammer's aesthetic in the slightest I do absolutely adore seeing people make modifications to them.
New president, new video!! Life is great!! Beautiful predator and conversion sir! Favorite channel! Keep em coming!
Clearly my video is the better news 😜thanks for the support
I made nurgle terminators in 2nd edition, by melting with a lighter and soldering iron the plastic terminators that were from space hulk and later released as a boxed set. They were drippy, disgusting and very effective.
Awesome
"a champion treat" very clever
nailing the great unclean one to a gas powered vehicle is just common sense on the death guard’s part
The daemon is going to get constantly bonked on the head by the main gun 😂
When a beast of nurgle evolves it becomes a… predator of nurgle
My death guard army needs that...
Miniscape, Scape of Mini. ❤
Damn right
hell yeah dude
Just bought a second one of these predators a space wolf one this time
