You said " Theres nothing wrong with the Law or the 10 Commandments" That is EXACTLY right. The entire problem with whats wrong with the Law is really whats wrong with us. While in prayer about this, Holy Spirit said this "ANY good thing you do outside of love would be as if youd never done it at all". If the Law or the 10 are being done outside of love, it would be as if we'd never done it at all. Jesus said "If you love Me, you will obey my commandments". Let me shed some light on this. "If you love Me (the cause), you will obey my commandments (the effect), meaning if His Love is already in us, then it will automatically happen. Not in a creepy Stepford wife kind of way, but these are the things that take place when my Love truely resides in you. Its more about the the transformed heart and mind, than it is about doing something to attain something else. More about the BEING, as opposed to the DOING. Concerning the Sabbath, Jesus said "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath". I take this to mean that the Sabbath is really the way to show self love. If youve ever experienced it, the Sabbath is a joy to honor. Set aside that time for Him, as He prescribed, and it just sets the tone for the coming week. So much peace and rest, and revelation...

@@Rileyed Since the beginning of time before Christ people were living in faith which is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. People were anxiously waiting for baby Jesus to be born of a virgin. Noah had faith in God believing that HE would send a flood. Faith always existed. Our lives are centred around faith millenniums before Jesus came and fulfilled the law. It wasn't done away with as it is the only guide to a Christlike life. It is ludicrous to believe that GOD will condemn us for trying to live a Righteous life. Again I believe nothing we do on earth to impress God or work our way to Heaven is acceptable to God because of the Crucified Jesus Christ shed blood paid our debt (sins) in full. Our Righteousness are like filthy rags. Our motive for following the guidance of the Commandments is to be in right standing with God in the Holy Spirit and not allow our Carnal Nature to overtake the Spiritual nature.

@eddie1411, Have you ever done something that was wrong? You knew it was wrong, and you did anyway? We all have. God makes you very uncomfortable for what we just did. We get that from The Holy Spirit. Thats how you learn we are either pleasing The Lord, or grieving The Lord. NOBODY IS PERFECT. Some things we have to learn thru The Lord's Testing. Theres a lot of evil in this world like never before. God needs us spiritually prepared to handle, getting your feelings hurt. Heres the reason, God does not want us following our feelings. He wants us to follow Him. Whether you know in advance, or it happens by fast. God doesnt always tell us His grand plan. That fruit of The Spirit is Jesus's personality, not ours. The Holy Spirits job is to change our heart into Jesus's heart. Our job, is to cooperate. Its painful, have your church lay hands on you and pray over you. There is not one person that has ever kept The whole 10 commandments. Not one. Except Jesus. Go over that list yourself. Im sure you will see yourself in one of them.

You are quoting Matthew 7:21 to refer to Christians and your hermeneutics is way off . There was no wisdom just a trainwreck of exegesis.
Examine the the verses carefully. First thing these people did was tell Jesus all the wonderful things they did. Bragging, about works. Jesus simply said he NEVER knew them. IF He never knew them, THEY NEVER were born again . IN John 10 Jesus clearly tells us He KNOWS His sheep, we KNOW Him.
You need to prayerfully consider exactly what being born again is, ALL of the salvation doctrine. You are not, NEVER will be, JUSTIFIED by ONE single thing you do . That dishonors God, steals from His glory , makes YOU co redeemer. You are a breathing pile of dirt just like all of us. THE ONLY thing that will give you eternal life, is being born again. READ ALL of John 3 which is the ONLY chapter that deals specifically with salvation. Either believe Jesus' promises, accept the free gift of salvation or you can do as the Catholics do to their final demise, KEEP laws and commandments etc etc trying to live in your righteousness which will never ever meet God's standards. You will find your self with the people IN MATTHEW 7:21. If you are not born again of the Holy Spirit, He does NOT know you

@@danielbelteshazzar-mg7rb Greetings friend. Respectfully I am not a Pharisee. Pharisees believe in extra-biblical commandments called takanot or what Christ called tradition. These are commandments made by Rabbis not by GOD in the Bible. This is why Christ took issue with them (see Matt 15:1-9). These extra-biblical writings guide the Pharisees interpretation of the Bible and this is why their understanding of scripture was also different to Jesus’.
What I just said is very important to understanding the gospel so please research who the Pharisees really were.

🙏🏽 Few things, the scripture you are quoting was before Christ came and in a time they were under the law. Post Christ’s resurrection we have a new covenant.
Another thing, if you follow scriptures all the way through you will see in Acts 15 that there is a clear transition. Thinking you are saved by keeping the law is very wrong.
Now here is my proof using scripture. And again Acts is after Proverbs.
“While Paul and Barnabas were at Antioch of Syria, some men from Judea arrived and began to teach the believers: “Unless you are circumcised as required by the law of Moses, you cannot be saved.” Paul and Barnabas disagreed with them, arguing vehemently. Finally, the church decided to send Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem, accompanied by some local believers, to talk to the apostles and elders about this question.”
      ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭15‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭
“At the meeting, after a long discussion, Peter stood and addressed them as follows: “Brothers, you all know that God chose me from among you some time ago to preach to the Gentiles so that they could hear the Good News and believe. So why are you now challenging God by burdening the Gentile believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear? We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.””

      Romans 4:2-5
For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.
But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
      Romans 5:1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

      Romans10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
      Acts 13:39
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
      Titus3:5
He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
      Philippians 3:9
and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

What would be the purpose of this organisational structure given that in the beginning God said there's to be one way for the native born so as for the sojourner? Isaiah 56:2
Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil (Righteous / Lawful ).
Did Paul's writings that this video picked out of their full contexts despite the warnings of Peter about Paul's writings ( 2 Peter 3:16 ) contradict Isaiah 56:2? NO! Below is Paul's conclusion about the law:
    Romans 3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
As Christians saved by Christ, we cannot use our inability to perfectly keep the law as an excuse to live lawlessly. We need to follow the example of Christ and his disciples by observing the Sabbath and all applicable laws as our custom; our custom is our daily walk.

““You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.””

Why do you call yourself a sinner when ( if you believe you are saved) God calls you something else?
      1. A new creation in Christ
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!” (2 Cor. 5:17)
      2. A child of God
“But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name” (John 1:12).
      3. A branch of the true vine
“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me” (John 15:5).
      4. A friend of Jesus
“I do not call you servants anymore, because a servant doesn’t know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from my Father” (John 15:15).
      5. Justified and redeemed
“They are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Rom. 3:24).
      6. An heir
“We are God’s children, and if children, also heirs-heirs of God and coheirs with Christ-if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him” (Rom. 8:17).
      7. A sanctified saint
“To the church of God at Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called as saints, with all those in every place who call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord-both their Lord and ours” (1 Cor. 1:2).
      8. A temple of the Holy Spirit
“Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own” (1 Cor. 6:19)
      9. A member of Christ’s body
“Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it” (1 Cor. 12:27).
      10. An ambassador for Christ
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf: ‘Be reconciled to God’” (2 Cor. 5:20)
      11. The righteousness of God
“He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Cor. 5:21)
      12. Chosen
“For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him” (Eph. 1:4)
      13. Adopted
“He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will” (Eph. 1:5)
      14. Redeemed and forgiven
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace” (Eph. 1:7).
      15. Sealed with the Holy Spirit
“In him you also were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed” (Eph. 1:13).
      16. Made alive in Christ
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! (Eph. 2:4-5)
      17. Raised and seated with Him in the heavenly places
“He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6).
      18. God’s workmanship
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do” (Eph. 2:10)
      19. A citizen of heaven
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Phil. 3:20).
      20. No longer a slave, but free
“For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery” (Gal. 5:1).
Praise God I’m not who I used to be!

Its hard especially if you just got saved. You dont know anything or limited what you do know. Get in a spirit-filled church. Where they are operating in The Gifts of The Spirit. You will learn and grow so fast when you surrender all of you to Jesus. Your life will change, for the better. I promise. It takes time. Give God the same amount of time to clean you, as you gave satan to dirty you.

Brother Corey, you must read and study the Word by the leading and guidance of The Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul did not teach against the Torah.
Matthew 22: 36-39. vs.40 On these two Commandments hang ALL the Torah and the prophets. John 14:15. If you love me keep my Commandments. Bro. Corey stop interjecting into the Holy Scriptures. We fail because we do not follow YAH'S instructions, (The TORAH) by the leading and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Obeying the Law of YAH(Torah) is the fruit of our salvation NOT the root of our salvation. Yahusha Ha Massiach is the ROOT. Keeping TORAH is not to work for our salvation, but it is the evidence of our faith in Messiah.

👋 hi...I was a member of SDA for decades and the only fault I find with the church is that it's the Lukewarm Church (which sis White herself wrote) that there will be a falling away of many members). Through the years I left the SDA church several times attending charismatic and Pentecostal churches but each time I go back to the SDA I can't seem to enjoy being there. However I fully support the church when debating and commenting on Christian channels especially with regard to the Sabbath. I have noticed that even though I've left the church for two decades at one time ,the church remained in that same lukewarm state and brethren arguing in board meetings...fighting over posts . Division so that was the last I fellowshipped at SDA or Hillsongs where I also was a member and due to all the scandals of sexual abuse and misconduct I gave up in attending any church and for last five years remained at home and still regard myself as the CHURCH. At times my eldest daughter and her family would invite me to their branch to attend their Sabbath services.
On the subject of The Ten Commandments🤔this is my opinion of the whole understanding not that we should form our own opinions but rather obey GOD.
We know that we are no longer under the Old Covenant and that Jesus fulfilled the law and we are no longer under the law...saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus. There is alot of arguments about whether we should still keep the law or not believe the law otherwise we will be punished. Why would God punish us if we are striving to live righteous lives? We will NEVER be perfect but if Jesus himself said "If you live me keep my Commandments" we are not obeying because we think being good will save us but we want to refrain from doing evil. Temptation faces us everyday and we should be on our guard. Yes the Holy Spirit is in us and will give us gifts if discernment...promptings..convictions but if satan knows your weak points he will continue to try and trap u. The ten Commandments were written by God's own finger and it guides us to steer away from sin.
The good deeds we do to extend the kingdom of heaven..winning souls...fasting...praying early hours in morning...tithing etc are not going to merit our Salvation for Jesus has already paid the price for our sins.
Did Jesus do away with the LAW? Ofcourse not. He came to fulfil the law. We ought to still follow those ten commandments to ensure that our bodies which is the temple of God are not defiled for the Holy Spirit dwells within us. This is not "works" like some people are saying and that we are cursed. The "works" God refers to are the things we do for the extension of the Kingdom for God says they are like filthy rags.
If people were not baptised in the Holy Spirit nothing I say makes sense to them. The SDA church and some other Protestant churches do not perform the services for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that's why there is so much dissension in the church. The Holy Spirit Baptism is not the ordinary Baptism through the waters but it has an annointing sweet smelling aroma. I have experienced it on two occasions in a charismatic church. It is real and not fake like the SDA church said where I attended. Sister White speaks about the division within the Remnant church. There is going to be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit like never before but the wheat will be removed from the tares first before the latter rain.
Thankyou Jesus 🙏 The latter will be greater than the former.
My prayer is that the Holy Ghost fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 descends on the SDA churches in Jesus Name 🙏

Thank you for sharing that. We all have different backgrounds and baggage we learned not just in the churches or denominations we were once part of but also where and how we were brought up. I was raised in a Pentecostal home and affirmed a Christian at age 5. I experienced intense emotions and physical manifestations of having faith. I heard and believed the imminent second coming of Jesus and the myriad of amazing stories of healing and deliverance from sickness and demon possession. But for decades, I never truly heard the gospel. What I heard was that Jesus was coming back to take the ones who believed in Him and that when I prayed the sinner’s prayer then I would be saved from hell. I was taught that blessings and good health can be received if I just claim it and have enough faith. But not least of all, I was also taught that even though God saved me when I prayed the sinner’s prayer, God would also remove my name off the Book of Life if I sinned until I've repented of them and got right with God by doing what a good Christian was supposed to do. Unbeknownst to me, I was given a burden that was too heavy for me to bear. It didn't take long for me to realize my faith was shaky at best or false at worst. I reached a point where I knew I was just role-playing a Christian man. I felt God was pleased with me when I did the right things but was displeased with me when I messed up. I imagined that since God is good and fair, that He will one day weigh my good deeds against my bad and that I would be justified because I tried really hard and did many good deeds. Went to church every now and then, tithed my income, and sang with welled-up emotions at times but I never truly understood God’s goodness for decades until 4 years ago. In the fullness of time, God opened my eyes to see who I truly was - a wretched sinner deserving nothing but God's eternal wrath in hell; and who He is - a merciful but just, ever loving but sinners-hating, thrice Holy God who could not and would not tolerate sin. When I saw who I truly was, that there was nothing in me worth saving, that my will was continually against God, that each breath I took was in rebellion again the one true God, that I was heaping up wrath for the day of wrath everytime I sinned, that I needed Jesus to save me from God Himself, that Jesus is God in the flesh, that He died for sinners like me to give me life, and that He gave me the gift of repentance so I can see that while His wrath abides in me and that I was alienated from Him and that I never possessed true saving faith which is by repentance and faith alone in Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection, He foreknew me before the foundation of the world, that in that moment, God granted me repentance and forgiveness. He washed me clean and gave me eternal life. And now I know that nothing can ever separate me from His love. Not because of what I had done but because of what He had done for me. The eternal life that I now have is not something I deserved but only by His sovereign will and good purpose to be lived out for others. Now my life is in Jesus’s hands and in the Father's hands. Living or dying is for Him. I can do nothing else but to live life of gratitude to Him who saved me. I do sin but He is faithful to forgive and my hope is for others to realize that nobody can add anything to God’s saving work. When you begin to read the Scripture more, you will find that the battle is in what we believe. If you have repented of your sins and have now put you faith in Jesus alone and not on anything else you may feel you have to do, then you are forever saved. You cannot add anything to His work. The Law brings death. Study the books of Romans and Galatians. The Law was a tutor to point us to Christ. When we are in Christ, we do not hire the tutor back again to help God in our salvation or on your sanctification. Salvation is by grace alone. Grace and Law-keeping do not mix.

By the Law, no man shall be saved. But why? Simple, we can't keep it. Is it a good thing to look to for knowing good and evil and right and wrong? For sure, yes. There is one person who did keep the whole law perfectly and shared His victory and workes over it. Jesus. Pretty deep uh?

Exactly. The gospel is not grace + Law or grace + good works or whatever else. That’s legalism. The gospel is also not antinomianism or easy believism either where some professing Christian would claim they’re heaven bound even though they lie, steal and kill because they said a prayer one time in their life. Our Christian walk should be “evidenced” by good works. Ephesians 2 tells us HOW a person is saved. James 2 tells us WHAT a saved person should look like.

I agree. I know it's enticing to apply everything we read in the Bible to us but that's the wrong way of reading the Scripture. Yes, there are circular letters or general epistles (I consider the book of James as one since it was addressed to “the twelve tribes in the Dispersion” which likely refers to churches spread throughout Asia Minor and was actually circulated around those churches) but we need to be careful how we apply the things we read especially when we are misapppropriating things like the Sabbath, dietary restrictions and feasts because those were for the nation of Israel. Case in point, 2 John 10 where it reads “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting,”. If we read this verse in isolation without regard to whom John wrote this (v. 1 tells us this letter was addressed specifically to “the elect lady and her children” who are very hospitable believers), we could come to the conclusion that we should never talk to JW or LDS. But that's not how we should interpret that verse. John wrote this letter specifically to the recipients so his instruction here is not necessarily for us but we can glean the lesson from it. John was reminding them (the elect lady and her children) to be discerning so as not to think that everyone who claims to be in the truth is but could actually be a deceiver and the antichrist (v. 7).

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. 44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Why did the gentiles ask Paul to speak with them on the Shabbat? Why not ask for him to speak on Sunday since the gentiles were not Jewish??
This city wide meeting could not have happened in the synagogue. It was not big enough to hold all the people!!
When the gentiles asked to meet on the following Shabbat, it would have been the perfect time for Paul or the disciples to make clear that the day had been changed to Sunday. But the meeting for the gentiles happened on the Shabbat the following week.

Paul says "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." (Romans 3:31). Jesus will help you keep the commandments. "My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. Now Jesus says "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9). Jesus will help you keep the commandments. We are not under the condemnation of the law as the wages of sin is death. Does Jesus want you to keep HIs commandments? "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. " He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." (John 14:21). Those that keep His commandments go to Heaven (Revelation 22:14). The Sabbath is part of the law and if you don't keep it you sin. You are a false prophet that teaches error. " He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." (1John 2:4). "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." (Isaiah 8:20). If you need more scripture I will provide it for you.

I'm a baby servant, so I acknowledge that I could be wrong, but I keep the first 4 commandments to love and honor the most high Yah and the other 6 as a moral compass to help me love my neighbors, so wouldn't that in essence still upholding the main 2 commandments which is love God and our neighbors? God said what he said... it's man that complicates his words with their own interests. You have to learn how to love someone and the commandments teach you how to love God and your neighbor, so why would God do away with them? We need them today as the people needed them back then. The Sabbath is so important to God that he made it a commandment and told us to remember it and keep it holy... why would we not do so? This video and the not keeping the Sabbath video does not sit well with my spirit. Pray for me.

Praying for you 🙏. May I recommend a channel that deals with this topic and similar topics about the Law? It’s Defending the Biblical Roots of Christianity (by RL Solberg). I believe it will benefit you greatly as it has me and several others. I affirm that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone, according to the Scripture alone. There are a lot of syncretistic and a few aberrant doctrines being tossed around here in the Comments. I pray that God will help you discern right from wrong because doctrine matters. The idea of keeping the Law is nuanced but at the same time very important to understand because it is dangerous and can lead many to heterodoxy or apostasy. May you continue to rest in your assurance of salvation because our Lord and Savior has you in His hand and the Father, also, has you in His hand. May the Holy Spirit help you in your journey.

Not so buddy. You have not learned nor studied the New Testament properly. Listen you are hugely mistaken if you think obeying Gods word is earning your own salvation to obeying Gods law because you seek to follow Gods ways. Gods laws were not given to prove we cant follow God if you think he gave laws for the soul purpose to prove man sins and can never follow God then you have misguided the purpose of its being given. God gave us laws to live by and follow, he gave us laws to know his character and to be the path we are to follow and teach others to do the same. Sin came because of being disobedient which means to continue to disobey would be rebellion. Sinc3 we can not make our sin be forgotten, and since God gave us Messiah to remove our sins we could not is not obeying then proof of our faith we have been forgiven and hope he is our salvation? As Moses said Deuteronomy 8:1 "All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers. Deuteronomy 9:4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. Deuteronomy 9:5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."Deuteronomy 4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; Deuteronomy 4:14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it." When you reject Gods salvation which is what makes you righteous this then is when you seek to make your self righteous before God and is not possible for any. Messiah did not come to remove his laws from our lives but to remove our lawless disobediance lives away from breaking the law. When we sin we are only proving we are trapped and enboundage to sin. But when Jesus sets us free from our sins of not keeping the sabbath, or not eating clean animals or lying, or immorality, what ever it may be the ultimate point is Messiah thus is the one who helps me turn and be moral to turn and keep his laws. Thus Messiah is not living in us and by him we are set free and by him we are walking as God desires. So if we keep the commandments it is not our righteousness but his that makes us free. For as the Torah says these are the commandments that you shall do in the land you go to possess. If they do not do them they how are they his disciple then? For by our fruit we are known.

    • @go2yadramah415
      @go2yadramah415 11 месяцев назад

If you do not keep the law then look Messiah said it himself Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: as even Paul says saying Galatians 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.or Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.James 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors." If sin be the transgression of the law then rigjeousness is as Paul says Romans 10:4 For Christ is the goal of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. If Messiah is the goal then indeed he is the purpose of the law to live as he lives and walk as he walks 1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. No man can say he is of God if he be not transformed as his son transforms all who believe to not only believe on him but follow him. And if following him we then are obeying and if obeying we are then professing his law is true and we have sinned for our obedience is proof our faith is real.

It was for fellowship and unity. It’s in the same spirit that Paul gave the instruction in 1 Corinthians 10:32. The hope was for the Gentiles believers and the Jewish believers to have fellowship in the synagogues for the reading of the Scripture. The Jerusalem Council’s decision was not given as a “starter pack” for the Gentile believers as what the Hebrew Roots Movement and 119 Ministries would want you to believe. Notice in Chapter 21 that it’s still the same 4 prohibitions reiterated even though this is now a few years after the Council first gave the decision in Chapter 15. Additionally, if the 4 prohibitions were just the starter prohibitions, why was circumcision never became obligatory for the Gentile believers (remember Titus)? And in chapter 20, when Paul called the elders from Ephesus to meet him at Melitus because he was hurrying to get to Jerusalem to (supposedly) celebrate the feast of Pentecost, why did Paul not just tell the Elders to meet him in Jerusalem if they (Gentile believers) were also supposed to observe the Feasts like the Jews? And in Acts 20, when Paul was trying to get to Jerusalem in haste to celebrate Pentecost, was Paul then forgetting the Passover which comes before Pentecost?

@@judereggievelez7467 thanks for replying. Do you have a resource that has more details of what you wrote? Here is how they respond to Acts 21.
Acts 21:19 - When he had greeted them, he told in detail those things which Elohim had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.
He is talking to James, once again.
       Acts 21:20 - And when they heard [it], they glorified YAHWEH. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many myriads of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law;
Why would they be zealous for the Law if the Law has been abolished? They are all zealous for the Law. Alright.
Acts 21:21 - “but they have been informed about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise [their] children nor to walk according to the customs.
Who? All the Jews. The Jews pretty much know about the Law already.
Acts 21:22 - “What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come.
They heard a false report. It wasn’t true.
Acts 21:23 - “Therefore do what we tell you: We have four men who have taken a vow.
24 - “Take them and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave [their] heads, and that all may know that those things of which they were informed concerning you are nothing, but [that] you yourself also walk orderly and keep the law.
So, what he is saying here is, “The things which they are claiming about you are not true, and that is forsake Moshe.”
Now, if the Law were abolished, then what Paul would be doing here is not being honest with the Gospel, if the Gospel included forsaking Moshe, if the Gospel included no longer do you have to circumcise, if the Gospel included forsaking the Biblical customs, such as Feast keeping, and so on.

    • @believer8091
      @believer8091 11 месяцев назад

@@judereggievelez7467 So, the minimum requirement here still stands. He is not going to demand that they would get circumcised. He would not demand that of them. The minimum requirement still stands. I should also add, remember the original ruling was for the Gentiles who were turning to Elohim. Okay?
So, in one way there are two different standards, and it is true among us, too, even among church goers today.
If a new believer who just joined the church (signed on the dotted line), and he fell into some kind of sin somewhere because of ignorance, because he didn’t know about it being wrong, or because he is trying to adjust to his lifestyle and needs some time to get that junk out of his life, there would be grace given to him, I would hope.
And the same is true for the Gentiles, but they can’t be going along with the temple prostitutes, drinking blood and all these other things. That would be wrong. And so, these are major sins they need to turn away from.
Alright, so my point is this: The context here is the upholding of the Torah for the Jews, and because they grew up knowing it, because they grew up following it their whole life, of course that would be required of them, because they know better. But Gentiles, they are just learning. So, give them a break.
And so, that same mentality is being repeated here that, yes, they need to do these four things. But these are not from the Law of Moses. These are things that have long transcended. It is not new ideas that Moshe brought in. Alright.

If you truly love and have the Holy Spirit, you will be led by Him and keep those commandments without having to think twice about them or think that they are burdensome. Keeping these commandments will not save you, but if you are truly saved you will be led by the Holy Spirit and will not find any of them burdensome. knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
      Galatians 3:11
But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”
      Galatians 3:24-25
Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer
      under a tutor.
      Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
      Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
      Romans 4:2-5
For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.
But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
      Romans 5:1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
      Romans 5:9
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
      Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
      2 corrin 5:19
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

It is a fact that most people whom I know living a simple life TRYING to be obedient to GOD are very blessed people. It may not be with 💰🤑 or material things but Wisdom...Education and knowledge.
They are Ambassadors for Christ who have to lead with honesty integrity and perseverance. People will be greatly disappointed when they hear these words "Depart from me I know you not.". Today we hear more about prosperity...wealth in majority of churches instead of helping the suffering poor hungry people. The more these churches get the more they want. They do not know the Word of God. Satan will do his utmost best to confuse Christians and destroy them. He is a liar!!!! who twists God's word to discourage God's remnant...the apple of HIS 👁️
If people choose to walk in God's footsteps then leave them alone.
We do not follow the ways of the World 🌍🌎. We do not claim to be perfect at all but the word says to strive to perfection.
We love HIM because HE first loved us 🙌🙏👑😇

@Coleman10, I challenge anyone For one week, to live by The Law. Wait a second, you cant call on Jesus for help, only God. Check it out for yourself, how hard it is to keep The Law, and you cant call Jesus. You have too call God. Come back after a week of this, and share with everybody what you learned by walking in The Law, with no help from Jesus. Why? The Law didnt come thru Jesus Christ. Grace and Truth came thru Jesus Christ. In order for anyone to get God's help, you have to go thru Jesus first. Thats in your bible. God will always help a broken and contrite heart. Prideful boastful trouble-makers, you on your own. Till you repent for real. Not playin cute in church for show. Nobody can fool God. NOBODY. You accept God's gift of Jesus, your life will change. Your heart will change. Your mind and your friends will change. God loves us so much, He doesnt leave us the way He found us. Go get your Bible and read Mark 12 28-34. Jesus explains the 10 commandments down too 2 from 10.

@@alexlostit He is trying to pick out a part of the Law he feels is silly. A very common technique. They find something ridiculous and they bring up these, and say, “Ah, well, if you are really trying to keep the Law, then you have to keep this one.”
So I replied back. I said, “Well, this commandment appears to be a prohibition of mixing animal and plant fibers together. I don’t know if I have ever worn cotton and wool in the same garment, but I don’t anymore, and I do try to make my clothing to be one-hundred percent.” I just left it at that.
They try to point out something that most people don’t do, and say, “Well, you have to keep that one, too.” And if you don’t keep that one, too, then they discredit you. “Oh, you say you keep the Law, but then you don’t really.” That is the common technique done today.
Because a lot of people will say, “Well, yeah, I am not going to go to that length. I am not going to go through my whole wardrobe and start taking anything out that is mixed fibers, that is polyester and cotton, and have to do all that. Why, that would be very hard. So, maybe the Law, we shouldn’t do it.”
That is the kind of thinking that is often behind that. But I left it at that. I didn’t go any further. And it is really just best not to in this particular instance.
So then he says: “The law tells us we are not to eat of unclean animals, such as catfish, pigs, such as chickens, and yet Peter is told in Acts 10, when he sees all manner of unclean beasts, he is commanded to rise, kill and eat.
“Peter says, ‘Not so, Lord, I’ve never eaten anything that is common or unclean.’ How could God command Peter to eat something that’s unlawful for Him to eat, if the law had not been fulfilled in Christ?”
A good question. A fair question. And I wrote back. I said, “Well, first of all, chickens are not unclean, but catfish and pigs are definitely unclean.” And Peter was given a vision here that was also a parable. The great sheet came down. And in Acts 10:17, after he had seen this vision, it says here:
Acts 10:17a - “Now while Peter wondered within himself what this vision which he had seen meant…”
He wondered: “What does this mean?” And then later, in Acts 10:28, this is what he found out what the vision meant. He said, “But Elohim has shown me that I can eat all the pork and catfish that I want.”
No, that is not what it says, is it? It says:
Acts 10:28 - “… But Elohim has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.”
In other words, he was supposed to go to the Gentiles. That was the point of the vision- to show him, “You need to go to the nations,” like Yahushua commanded in Matthew 28:19.
Matthew 28:19a - “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…”
And so, what were they doing? They were afraid to go to the Gentiles. It was not appropriate in those days for Jews to have dealings with Gentiles.
And so, if you want a more in depth study on that, I would encourage you to read these two links:

With every rejection of truth the minds of the people will become darker, their hearts more stubborn, until they are entrenched in an infidel hardihood. In defiance of the warnings which God has given, they will continue to trample upon one of the precepts of the Decalogue, until they are led to persecute those who hold it sacred.

when you say Christians should overtime should sin less that still makes sanctification sound external.
just like the dogmatic if you commit willful sin, you’re going to hell versus if you are truly a son, or daughter of God, God will progressively sanctify you, and that your repentance won’t primarily be resistance or abstaining from sin, but being transformed, and having a natural bent an proclivity and disposition for virtue and righteousness, and against with hatred coupled as well against Sin and I love for a virtue i.e., true righteousness, true holiness, God’s intention /purpose behind salvation. Grounded, and found in the foundation, fuel and motivation, and a heart infused and positioned in and by true love true, passionate, love, not dry, would be having passion for the opposite .
The basis is faith and grace alone. The intention is true, oneness with him through the making by his spirit of likeness to him..
true repentance and holiness and righteousness, just like iniquity and sin is internal, and either made by the Holy Spirit cultivating the growing of purification, i.e. true love/also holiness.
or our sinful nature, cultivating defilement and disobedience, and sin. I.e., true Hate, and evil. The true definition of evil is to pervert and invert something against its natural or divine use, or intent.

So why are you now challenging God by burdening the Gentile believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear? I appreciate the perspective and experienced shared within the interpretation but it’s assertive and circumstantial to the context of the individual. We as believers in Messiah shouldn’t even be arguing or asserting these things to one another. If you believe Messiah came in the flesh and seek to live up to his teachings and words and still find room in your heart to observe the law then that’s fine. Note, I’m sure most of us know and understand we have our salvation in and through Jesus/Yeshua our King Lord and Savior and still, we may have the desire to observe the law, some more so for cultural purposes and or for religious purposes and some believe that their are blessings and or curses due to obedience and or disobedience. I don’t see why aiming at the law culturally and or for biblically is viewed as an act of abandoning Yeshua, in fact viewing the law through Yeshua is something I would encourage.
This is a classic Pauls gospels vs the Gospels Of Jesus.
Again we are justified through Yeshua but the law is aimed at for cultural value and for wisdom and guidance.
When Jesus says Love God first and to love your neighbor as yourself he is actually covering all the law with this statement, which happened to be a quote from Hillel the Jewish law abiding Scholar and teacher.
Love God 1st with all your strength is the first 4 laws
Love your neighbor like yourself are the rest of them. 😃
    Who’s your neighbor?
Those who are different but work in the spirit of the law and or of Jesus and have and show mercy and grace vs the ones who are of your kindred and culture who only follow the law (may I add that specifically Jesus and Paul were talking about the added Talmudic teachings that came with the Babylonian captivity) of their leaders vs the law of Moses which points to the spirit but yea can be used for the wrong thing as well. Yeshua fulfilled the law and established the proper spirit over its function.
Just sharing. Though I disagree with it, I do appreciate this channel and video.

John said, if you walk in darkness and say you do not sin, you lie. Reading is fundamental.
It is possible to walk in darkness all of your life.
It is also possible to walk in the light as Jesus is in the light, and there is no darkness in him.
We have been given grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, according to scripture, but not according to the unlearned.. Therefore it is written, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit 2Cor7 :1.
Moreover, he that is born of God cannot sin 1John3 :9, and whosoever is born of God sinneth not 1 John 5:18.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Free from what preacher? Free from the bondage of sin and death and the law which is the ministration of death. For the letter kills but the Spirit gives life, and the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus makes us free from the law of sin and death.
He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying.
God cause his face to shine upon us and give us peace.

If Gentiles have been grafted in they should keep the 10 commandments and the sabbath day. They should also keep the food laws in Leviticus 11. These things are not Judaism or legalism . Jesus is able to help us keep these laws. We can’t do them in our own power.

    Corey don't confuse people.
If you are led by the Spirit, then you should be able to obey the law since He is the one who makes you walk in accordance to the law. Ezechiel 36 :27
If you fail to obey the law (= sin), you have an advocate who will intercede for you. 1 John 2: 1
Nevertheless, the evidence of your salvation is the work you do. James 2:26
Which work? The work of Christ in us, which is Obey his Father's commandments. John 15 : 10
Would you please give me the scripture that says we do no need to observe the law? Or that we can observe all the law except from the sabbath?
You are passing your interpretation as Gospel here. Big mistake.
When Christ quote Deuteronomy is a reminder of the unchanging nature of God and that all that He (Christ) is saying will by no mean make void what the Father said to Israel in the wilderness.
The Scriptures are consistent in that the law does not save. Everyone from Adam until now is saved by grace through Faith. Including the children of Israel in exodus. but never does it say that the law isn't of actuality.
I hope you correct your message and actually reflect what the Scriptures says.
Do not add or subtract from it.
Saying we should not keep the sabbath because it's not, letter to letter, repeated in the new testament is adding what is omitted.
Classic argument of silence, which is the argument that all atheist use to argue the validity of the Scriptures.
And you know about it Corey, and should not use the argument of silence to defend your interpretation of the Scriptures.

We can keep the 10 commandments with the help of the holy spirit it would be wrong to say we don't have to that would be contradictory in our own strength. Yes we ought to keep his sabbath as well

      Galatians 2:16
knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
      2 corrin 5:19
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

@@wolfwatchers- 2 Peter 3:15-16 *You really need to know the difference between THE BOOK OF THE LAW & THE 10 Commandments*
Understand The Old Testament, and to understand The New Testament and Jesus ministry, which *CLEARLY* you can see the 10 Commandments being displayed in Jesus Christ ministry with a more in-depth understanding.
Paul would never contradict the words of God. The Sabbath for example, the dreadful day that most Christians seem to really hate because they think 2-4hr “☀️”Day worship is better than Sunset to Sunset from Fri-Sat. For most it’s a inconvenience, some don’t know, while most *feel* like it’s done away but switch to Sunday because of one verse in the Book of Acts. Paul *Never* switch the Sabbath from its original time, he gathered on Sunday because he was traveling, that’s it! He didn’t want to waste a lot of time from place to place, and needed to soon get back to Jerusalem for the Feast to pursue the Jews. Read that whole chapter for yourself to understand because in Chapter 1 the Sabbath is mentioned, and many more times afterwards. The Context clearly shows the sabbath is still biblically binding as it’s the 4th Commandment.
The Col 2:14 & 16 is The Book of The Law, (Read the Book of Exodus and the Book of Leviticus and Deuteronomy again….. understand the tabernacle in the holy of holies in the ark of the covenant. You can’t have a surface level understanding. John 14:6 goes hand to hand with the tabernacle.
Justification, and it came by Jesus Christ death on the cross, and works of keeping that law to make yourself justified is heresy. Understand the temple before it got destroyed in 70 A.D. and the 70 week prophecy spoken about in the Book of Daniel and read it *Carefully and precisely*
Hebrews Chapter 4 Shows you we are to keep the Sabbath.

SATAN IS AT WAR WITH THOSE WHO OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS . EXAMINE THE SCRIPTURES CAREFULLY BELOW ⬇️
Revelation 12:17 kjv- And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 kjv- Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
1 John 2:4 kjv- He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Matthew 19:17-19 kjv- And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
John 14:15 amplified- “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.
John 15:14 kjv- Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Matthew 5:19 kjv- Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
I'm sticking to what my King Yeshua said! King Yeshua warned them that don't wanna obey . Sad..

His sermon on the mount. He indeed came to fulfill the law and not do away with it. Thank you Jesus! He fulfilled it because no man can! When you fulfill a order it means you have done all thats required and sent the order. He fulfilled the law by being perfect and not breaking the law which no man could do. This is why we accept what HE has done and not by what we do. Jesus also mentions the greatest commandments which encompasses all of the law.. Love God with all thy heart and love thy neighbor. 🙏🏽

@@georgeasafoHe fulfilled the law and that’s why our redemption is in his finished work but he is the Word wrapped in flesh. We live as he commanded us to live and the law is a light unto our paths. 2 Timothy 3: 16-17 says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”.

@@Ryahn2893 do you believe you are required to keep the law for salvation? True believers follow the law not even by our doing but as scripture says by God’s doing. True believers rely on Jesus and his finished work for salvation.
Read Galatians, 1 Corinthians, all of Romans but especially chapter 2. You know that Christ appeared to Paul right after his ascension right?
Last one ill leave: “The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow, a dim preview of the good things to come, not the good things themselves. The sacrifices under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship.”
      ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭1‬
So believe in the verse you stated (2 timothy 3:16) and believe that the scriptures after that book are true as well. 🙏🏽
