Should all Christians obey the old testament law? Are we still under the old law? What is the difference between the old covenant and the new covenant? What changed when Jesus came to earth, died on the cross and rose again? These questions may seem strange or difficult for new Christians, but it is at the core of Christianity. You need to understand what it really means when Jesus came to fulfill the old law. The New Testament says that we are not under the old testament law, but we are now under the new law of Jesus Christ and the teaching of the Apostels.

The "NEW TESTAMENT" is referred to as, "The GREATER Promise."
The "LAWS," had to be given in those ancient days, because a
Standard had to be established. Also---it's the ONLY thing they
really understood in those days. But with the advent of Christ, we
had now entered into the "SPIRIT of the LAW," as opposed to the
"LETTER of the LAW."
The new testament is a stinking liberalised version of roman oppression against the jewish people, if you cannot figure out which laws were broken by that so called "messiah".. if you cannot figure out how biased and one sided the gospel writers are against the badmouthed Pharisees, your life is a lie..
They were saved the same way we are saved "by Faith". They knew they weren't saved by the works of the law but by faith in the coming Messiah.

Do you think one Jew never believed he was the son of God in there? That’s when they were saved it says he led the captives out captives or captivated. Captivated by his love love for them.
Ben Vista what on earth are you talking about??? The only thing liberalised is the modern and western twisting of the New Testament but the new is nothing more than the fulfilment of the old. Nothing is added to the old as Moses commanded the Hebrews it was the realisation of the old in the new.
The Pharisees however then and now have disobeyed God. They have created man made laws on top of Gods 612 thereby directly disobeying Moses and thereby disobeying God who said not to add to.
The Talmud is an abomination to God, a spit in the creators face. A rebellious act of treachery. When Yeshua (Jesus), confronted the religious leads it was mostly regarding their made up rules which were throwing Israel into sin by following them.
A sabbath days walk was the invention of Jewish legal hysteria. God gave no such command. This is why Jesus told the man who was blind to walk to a certain water source and wash the mud from his eyes there.
There were 10 water sources before this particular one but Jesus wanted the man to walk more than the made up sabbath days walk to confront the Pharisees over the rule which he did. Also for those who believed who he was to understand we don’t follow made up laws.
Another is when Jesus was told that his followers never washed their hands before eating. As you will know this is a ritual that is still done to this day. This is where a special prayer jug of water is used to say a pray as water is poured into the hands. This is a made up law which Yeshua addresses as breaking Gods laws in following.
God does not want anyone to add to His commands. It was the ministry of Jesus to tell the people to get back to God only commands and to fulfil being the sacrifice so no animals would be needed anymore but a sacrifice but that sacrifice was much greater. That DOES NOT allow you to sin. It simply wipes away your previous debt owed. If you deliberately sin as a Christian thinking you can then get Jesus to pay for it think again.
The Jews did this in the Old testament by sinning deliberately thinking they could use an animal to pay for it. (God had told them he'd accept an animal in His mercy because the blood Covenant required their blood if they broke the law).
In the end, God told them He was not going to accept their sacrifices anymore. They were putting the cart before the horse. If they didn't sin, there would be no need for the sacrifice and the sacrifice they were giving God for deliberate sin was not from repentance but from perversion.
When we get to the New Testament, we see that those who now are following God are doing it in holiness and in power they are not deliberately sinning anymore that is the blueprint of the church of Acts.
So you have to ask yourself, are you really A New Testament Christian living like those in the Book of Acts are you like the Jews in the Old Testament deliberately planning to sin and then running to the sacrifice to be forgiven in a perverted way?

Hey Daniel, Your videos are my favorite and they've really helped me alot spiritually until last month.
I've been living in a state of confusion since watching this other Hell testimony by Victoire Afangbedzi. The testimony has a message intact which Victoire believes is from Jesus. It talks about the hair styles people do, playing soccer and many other things that lead people to Hell.
My question is, " Could that be true?
I've been building up my own righteousness and it's hard to actually focus on righteousness through faith since this testimony has dictated me how to live nowadays.
So could my belief in that testimony mean i condone additional laws to the ones of Christ?

Many have a very fuzzy understanding of The Gospel. Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead, and then the rest is absolutely a fog to those don't understand. So they start barking up the wrong tree. And they don't realize it.

He even expects our thoughts to be pure, to love enemies, rejoice during persecution, etc. It did matter who the Jews were . . . The Sabbath is a day of rest and act of faith.

Do you understand how the salvation of the Lord Jesus works?
Lord Jesus came to REDEEM THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE LAW and not those who are outside the Law. People who are under the Law of Moses are the obedient ones; They transgress the Law of Moses in the weakness of the flesh. The blood of Lord is not for those live outside the Law of Moses at the same time disobey it. Lord Jesus called outsiders LITTLE DOGS WHICH MEAN UNCLEAN. The only people whom He called CHILDREN OF GOD are the children of Israel
Matthew 15
But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
The Law of Moses “old covenant” and the Law of Christ “new covenant” ARE ONE. The only difference between them, the Law of Moses was written on the tablet, while the Law of Christ is written on the hearts and in the minds. Read the truth below:
Hebrews 8
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
The old and new covenant ARE ONLY FOR THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL and not for the gentiles. Isaiah said in order for the gentiles to be under the new covenant is to become a part of House of Israel, that is by obeying the Law of Moses and celebrate all the holy feasts. Paul said if the gentiles want to get to Christ and get saved by His blood, they need to be tutored first by the Law of Moses.
Isaiah 56
Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants- Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant--Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
You Christian gentiles need to understand how the salvation of the Lord Jesus works. If you sin against the Law of Moses, you become a slave of the Law of Moses. BUT IT NOT A BAD THING TO BE UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES, because it only teaches your soul how he can be a perfect servant of Lord Jesus. When you are no longer sinning against it, you are free from the Law of Moses. Lord Jesus is perfection of God. He requires everyone perfect in serving Him.

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Do not allow false prophets misguide you! It is important to get the right understanding of the words of God. The Lord God clearly said you will not obtain mercy from Him but die without knowledge and burn you in Hell for lack of understanding.

many don't realizes The God of Israel is the Father of our lord Jesus(John 14:31, 2 Corinthians 2:13). The knowledge that gives everlasting life is knowing both. John 17:3. Our covenant is the law of Christ not the law of moses, but why people remove our Father from their heart? God himself raised up his son Jesus from the death (ACTS 2:32, ROMANS 10:8,9) And Jesus himself told us to love his Father as the FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT COMMANDMENT Matthew 22:37,38. SO YES IT IS IMPORTANT TO READ THE WORDS FROM OUR CELESTIAL FATHER THE GOD OF ISRAEL.
The spiritual union as one to be united with THEM is in John 17:21-25.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till HEAVEN AND EARTH(not Jesus but heaven and earth) pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.(the Pharisees unlike what many think weren't obedient to the law and Yashua rebuked them for that,they teached the law but were hypocrites and didn't do what they taught Mathew 23 Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:

Revalation 12
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments(Torah)of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The commandments include the sacrificial laws.(thers nothing outside of Pauls epistles that suggests we shouldn't do the sacrificial laws)
A lot of this confusion comes from the false apostle Paul and his disciple Luke who was in opposition with the rest of the apostles

11 But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him in public, because he was clearly wrong.
12 Before some men who had been sent by James arrived there, Peter had been eating with the Gentile believers. But after these men arrived, he drew back and would not eat with the Gentiles, because he was afraid of those who were in favor of circumcising them.
13 The other Jewish believers also started acting like cowards along with Peter; and even Barnabas was swept along by their cowardly action.
14 When I saw that they were not walking a straight path in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, “You are a Jew, yet you have been living like a Gentile, not like a Jew. How, then, can you try to force Gentiles to live like Jews?”(Paul said that Peter was living like a gentile because he was eating with Gentiles,but that was a false Jewish custom not a matter of the law)

Thanks Daniel for providing meaningful scriptures to not discredit the law (Old Testament), but to point out the fulfillment of the law through Jesus Christ. However, I did want to point out Romans 6:14, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” In the book of 1 John 1:8, “if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us”, we see a depiction of a Christian coming to the light of God. Prior to that Light - John 1:4-9, it is inevitable that all mankind commit sin. Once the light of God has been shed in our hearts, let us go on unto perfection - Hebrews 6:1-4. An Old Testament type of this miraculous grace (not of works lest any man should boast), is when God led his people from Egypt (no longer under the bondage of sin - justification) into the land of Canaan (blessed inheritance of Abraham’s seed (by faith) - wholly sanctified by the Spirit through the blood).
The journey between Egypt and Canaan was only a matter of weeks on foot. By refusing to believe and obey, the Israelites wandered for 40 years in the wilderness, just as Christians fall away, grow lukewarm and backslidden many times when they see their privilege of being made pure in heart and refuse to walk in the light. The church world need ministers with the heart of Joshua and Caleb that will fearlessly feed God's people with that spiritual manna that will produce strong Christians.
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." Jude 24-25

Correct the Most High does not change Jesus is God in the flesh. Would God contradict Himself. Of course not. So why is He giving new commandments on the sermont of the Mount in the new testament ? Because the commandments given by Jesus goes to the root of the problem. Sin start in our heart. Old testament tells us not to do evil. New testament tells us not to even think of doing evil. The OT is still in effect. Abraham had faith, but he still followed the law. The only part gone is the sacrificial system, Christ filled that with meaning and completed that system. He became the passover lamb, the scapegoat, the bull, the pigion/dove and the red heifer. Go and look at what these sacrifices meant. The red heifer is my favourite for the procedures/prophetic things that had to be fulfilled. Go back and have a look. It's amazing. He did that once and for all, but not the other things.
The feasts still stand, otherwise you are celebrating pagan helldays. That's why it says let no one judge you for keeping the Sabbath, the feast days (which have Sabbaths), food and drink (changing to food and drink which is clean ie good for you to eat). People judge those who change from world to God's ways, they think they are crazy...... don't follow the world, follow God, set apart, peculiar people.

Not to mention Jesus was crucified because the Jews accused him of not keeping the Sabbath. Also, what about circumcision? It was meant to be an eternal sign of belonging to the People of God and yet we don't do that either. This guy gives direct quotes from the new Testament which say we are no longer bound by the Law, if you only believe the Old Testament you're a Jew and not a Christian, while the Old Testament says we need to obey the 613 mitzvah, the Apostles say in Colossians 2:16 : "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days,". Jesus never broke the Sabbath. If He did, that means He sinned and can't be the spotless lamb. He broke the traditions of the elders. Those are not the commandments of God. He was crucified because they hated Him and accused Him of blasphemy when He made himself equal to God.
Circumcision is a commandment. What Paul is writting against is the perversion of the Circumcision Party. They believed you were saved by works of the law. This includes Gods commandments plus the Many traditions of the elders. Jesus opposed the pharisees when their traditions nullified the commandments of God.
Nowhere in the old testament does it say to keep 613 commandments. This is something you have been told. There are commandments that are in respect to men, woman, children, neighbors, priest, and Kings. Unless you can be all those things at once, it is impossible for you to keep every commandment because some things will not apply to you.
I believe in the old testament and the new testament as a whole. They compliment each other. Its not choose one or the other. All the words that precede from the mouth of God is what we live on.
The verse in Colossians is written to Gentiles who are keepi g the commandments and are being judged by the religious leaders of the Jews. Paul says that don't let them judge you for Christ has torn down their authority and made a public spectacle of them. He is basically saying they have no authority over you, but the body of Christ does.
Tell me, where are the terms of the new covenant found that clearly show what laws do not apply to you? There is no such place. You and the guy who made this video are twisting Paul's words to your own destruction just as Peter warns against these lawless people. See below.

Jesus healed a woman on the Sabbath day which wasn't a breaking of tradition, the Jews accused him of not keeping the Sabbath Holy : Luke 13:12-16: "When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” 13 Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God! 14 But the leader in charge of the synagogue was indignant that Jesus had healed her on the Sabbath day. “There are six days of the week for working,” he said to the crowd. “Come on those days to be healed, not on the Sabbath.” 15 But the Lord replied, “You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day! Don’t you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out for water? 16 This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?” You be the judge to say if Jesus broke the Sabbath day, the Jews judged him guilty and wanted his death.
I am not twisting Paul's word, there is only one interpretation of "don't let anyone judge you in food or drink". Also, while Leviticus 11 tells Jews which animals are pure or impure to eat, Jesus says: Mark 7:19: "For it doesn't go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)". Why is Jesus telling his followers something contradictory to the old covenant?
Moreover, Paul says circumcision is no longer necessary, while the Old Testament says it is to be kept by all generation forever. 1 Cor 7:18-20: "18 Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man uncircumcised when he was called? He should not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commands is what counts. 20 Each person should remain in the situation they were in when God called them."

The commandments include the sacrificial laws.(thers nothing outside of Pauls epistles that suggests we shouldn't do the sacrificial laws)
A lot of this confusion comes from the false apostle Paul and his disciple Luke who was in opposition with the rest of the apostles

In Romans 8, we are not under the law of moses but we are under the law of spirit, what are the laws of spirit? it is stated in galatians 3 that the laws of moses are the bases of the law of spirit, since if there's no law, then there will no transgressions (romans 4:15)
can we have $*x with the beast since its not stated in NT, Can we eat a human flesh, can we make graven images, can we use the God's name in vain, can we believe in superstitious, can we engage in astrology, incantation, cast spells, contacting the dead, tattoo in our skin, to return what you borrow, incest, not paying off the debts, inaccurate scales and weight since we are not under the Law. God forbid. What God's want to abolish the sacrificial law/ceremonial law coz an animals blood is not enough to wash away the sins of humans( read it in detailed in hebrew 10). In conclusion, as a True Vessels of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we still need to follow the food laws (it was prophesies in isaiah for those eat swine flesh, mouse, abominations will be cast out as a judgement) Clothing garments must be followed.

This needs to be clear. Loving & living for Jesus will lead to following all 10 commandments. The Sabbath day is important to keep holy unless for helping others. "Sabbaths" are plural old testament holy festival days.
Did God give the 10 commandments to the Jews or the body of Christ ( the Church). He gave them to the Jews. The Church, true Christians must follow Yeshua's commandments given in the new testament. The new commandments goes to the root of the problem (sin). Old testament tells us not to do evil. New testament tells us not to even think of doing evil. Sins start in our heart. That is the root of the problem. Our heart. That is why Elohim always look in our heart. Please rightly divide the word of God. Be blessed.

Brother its as simple as this! You and I broke Gods law and jesus payed the fine, that's why jesus cried out "it is finished" when he died on the cross the debt has been payed. God commands all man to repent and to believe in the one HE sent Jesus christ of Nazareth who is our saviour and redeemer of sin. We are called to be born again in the spirit and walk as jesus walked in the newness of the spirit. The prophets ezekiel and Jeremiah both say that the new covenant will be written on our hearts and that God will write his law upon our hearts, he will put his spirit within us and give us a heart of flesh rather than a heart of stone. If we are born again Christians and we now walk in the newness of the spirit which god himself baptised us with when we received the spirit of adoption, why then would the spirit not keep the commandments of God? Don't you know that we are the temple, don't you know that the kingdom is wherever the king is. If we have recieved the same spirit that christ recieved which is god himself do you really think the spirit will allow you to sin? God forbid for the spirit will always lead you to conviction and repentance for it is the power of God that brings someone to repentance. If the law is done away with what are you repenting for? For sin is the transgression of the law. Followers of christ can never be legalists because no matter how hard we try we will never be able to keep the commandments like our king did. The law is spiritual it always has been, the law is called the perfect law of liberty which if I were to put it plainly it simply means freedom from sin or freedom from death. Jesus is not a new God neither is the new testament a new set of rules! God as the complete package is the same yesterday today and forever he never changes otherwise we make him a liar and the death of christ is made void. Let the spirit lead you in truth because christ is the only way the only truth and the only life and no sin is allowed in the kingdom of God. Please don't say that the law is done away with because the scriptures are very clear that the law is written on our hearts. We are called to stop thinking carnally and be transformed by the renewal of our minds. We are saved by Gods amazing grace through faith alone his sheep hear there Shepard's voice and know exactly what to do because they listen. The Old Covenant was written on tablets of Stone. The New Covenant is a Living Covenant dwelling inside us. The first four commandments teach us how to love God, the last six how to love our neighbors. This is God's Family Government.
Exactly, NEVER changes. Colossians is cherry picked by Daniel. The new Christians changed from pagan ways to God's ways. Ie keeping Sabbath, keeping God's Feasts (Sabbaths as well), not eating unclean food and drink. So newbies don't let anyone judge you for changing from pagan ways, ie Xmas, easter, etc to God's ways.
Look deeper at the feasts. Not all of them have been completed (fulfilled as some say). The only part that was nailed to the cross was the sacrifices, as Jesus became them all. Filled them with meaning. Passover Lamb, scapegoat, red heifer (my favourite due to the prophetic detail that had to be accomplice), bull, etc. Go back and look.
The feasts also pointed and point to the future. Unleavened bread, First Fruits, day of Atonement, etc. Which one hasn't been completed yet? Feast of Tabernacles (wedding feast). Christ hasn't returned for His bride yet.
I'm sorry to say that, Daniel is not teaching the whole gospel. Christ and the apostles still kept the feasts, sabbath etc. Paul or peter even did the OT Oath. It was all kept, because they were pleasing Our Heavenly Father.

@Donald Mag Grace yes, we are not saved by anything else. Only through what Christ did for us. Christ, our Saviour, our Creator who created the Sabbath, who created me, you, adam and Eve. Who knows and is the Word. Don't you believe every word He said? I'm not JW, they follow the devil, but atleast they understand about xmas etc. He told the Hebrews in the OT do not follow the way of the pagans, same now otherwise it's adultery.
Think of Hosea and why he was told to marry a prostitute, because God loves Israel even though they were adulterous and He still loves us/Israel now.

Nic L You forgot the other 600+ laws in the Old Testament. You know, the ones like stoning a woman to death if she’s not a virgin on her wedding day. Stoning an unruly child to death (more specifically a drunken teenager). Wearing 2 different fabrics at the same time. Putting up a tree at Christmas. Women only get 1/2 as much of their father’s estate as their brother do. Then there’s slavery. And there are more than 600 after these. And the Ten Commandments? Jeasously and lust? Everyone breaks these stupid directives. Virtually everyone is guilty of the thought crimes in the commandments. We’re human. We can’t control those thoughts.
The big thing here is that many of the laws and guidelines in the OT laws are illegal in today’s world. And for good reason. They were conceived by sexist Barbarians. And many of them are completely immoral by today’s standards. You can’t obey the Ten Commandments. It’s not possible. They are just used to control you.
Bill K well actually, you just found the point of Christianity, we are all sinners, even when the New Testament removes many laws, it added some as well, the only sinless man was Jesus Christ, who was God, and He died for us, taking on the punishment for our sins, so that we may be forgiven for our sins. This way we may join God in heaven, and be with Him. Also most of those laws are either:out of context, out of cultural context, or wrong. Additionally it is not sinful to have thoughts, it is to Lust, which is more than thinking “she’s cute” closer to “sex sex sex sex boobs sex sex” etc. but I agree everyone is guilty. So, in your religion, all we have to do is beg for forgiveness to a dead person and everything is forgiven. Sorry, the real world means we have to face our wrongdoings. (By the way, by definition, sin is only against god.) We can’t assign them to someone else. I saw a religious video once where the narrator actually said that one person paying another persons criminal debt was okay. Sorry, no! If someone else is always letting you off the hook, you never learn anything. If someone else always pays your traffic ticket fines, when will you learn not to speed? Vicarious redemption is immoral.
And lust is what brings us together to have sex which, in the most basic sense, is to have children. According to your god, we are all supposed to “go forth and multiply”. And that was before man invented marriage. Without lust, there would be no multiplying. Your commandment is telling us not to do what he made us to do. And that causes guilt. Then we have to beg for forgiveness. And the circle of immorality continues. And this thing about us all being sinners? Don’t you think it’s bad to tell a child that he or she is born a sinner because of some made up story about a woman disobeying an ancient invisible deity thousands of years ago? They must now field this guilt for the rest of their life with the only out being the worship of that same unproven invisible deity.
Religion is about control. It’s not about love. It’s not about relationships. It was put together by controlling sexist Barbarians. And you are still being controlled by it today. Remember that these ancient Barbarians killed anyone that didn’t believe what they did. Your god in the bible killed millions more people than the devil ever did. Actually, I think there were only 2 people that were killed by Satan. Your god even asked your people to kill entire cities on his behalf. Moses was a murderer. It is not the good book. And telling this to children - that it’s the good book - goes against just about every modern culture’s laws for restricted adult literature. I’m sorry but I can’t wrap my head around this ancient made up religion and it’s associated myths. It’s not good. It’s unproven. And it mostly causes animosity between cultures. It doesn’t bring them together. Religious cultures typically score very low on societal health than do less religious cultures. Sweden is around 30% believers while the US is around 85% (and that’s just the Christians). Sweden scores highest and the US lowest on just about every indicator like murder, domestic abuse, happiness, crime, teenage pregnancy, repeat teenage pregnancy, education, wealth, and more. You can even see the difference between the northern and southern US states regarding societal health. Enjoy the good parts. They are good because they are god, not because some made up god said they were. However, the bad parts are there because of religious belief. I would go into the psychology of some of this but I’ve gone on long enough.

I just want to thank you sir. I have baptized thrice twice in childhood and once after 18 because I chose it. I have lived a life full of sin. Addictions. Mental illness overtook me. Lying as a child. Stealing as a child. I denounced God in my past many times. Explored every way to fulfillment except through christ including witchcraft. Homesexuality. Promiscuity. I've Eben through many hardships including rape, and abusive relationships. Homelessness. I recently came across this channel and subscribed. I've been reading my bible every day. Changing my ways. Listening to the word and praise music. I had a dream and terrified me. I thought God was invisible but I believed he revealed a physical manifesting for my benefit. A face and my mind asked who are you. I saw the wod Samuel. Samuel means God's name. I believe he has called me back to him in my dream. The time it happened brought me to Daniel chapter 2 vs 2:22. I was terrified. I felt my unworthiness in its entirity that day and since then have been trying to pursue a Christian lifestyle. I do not consume alcohol or weed. I have been abstaining from sex because I am not yet married to my boyfriend. These things I no long do.. looking for the right church to join and I have found an organization I want to volunteer for. An organization that is for adopting children because God has denied me this and made me sterile. And I do credit a lot of this to your channel for God used your sermons to finally get into my hard disbelieving heart and I accepted wholly. The Old Testament and the New Testament are both important. What makes the New Testament even more powerful is that that Jesus Christ died for our sins, Jesus país our fine on the Christ. There are different types of laws. . We don’t sacrifice lambs because Jesus was lamb it was symbolic to the crucifixion of Jesus.these are ceremonial laws why was nailed to the cross .he came to fulfill the law. Gods law the 10 commandments weren’t nailed to the cross. We will be judged by the 10 commandments but we have a savior to save us from ours sins. We come to Christ,turn away from Sin and repent. On judgement day we will be judge. Example: John you did not obey, you did not honor your father and mother, you have murder my child...I spoke to you,and you did not speak to me or seek me, you did not repent. You are very well expressed, but when you said the 10 commandments are the only ones not don't away with, this is not specified the Bible.
The 10 commandments are all an expression of love except for the sabbath which is expression of obedience of a ritual practice. Its the condition of the heart, not following rituals which doesn't affect the heart. When you become a new creature and love the lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself, you will naturally want and know to do the right things which is all these commandments were guiding you to do. The spirit of God resides in you and directs your path, convicts you when you stumble.
From my understanding & interpretation of the Bible, Christians do not have to live as Jews in the Old Testament. I urge people to read Galatians by Paul because he covers this. The basic theme: Christ's death has brought in the age of the new covenant, in which believers do not have to become Jews or follow the outward ceremonies of the Mosaic law. To require these things is to deny the heart of the gospel, which is justification by faith alone and not obedience of the law. Paul teaches "yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified." Galatians 2:16. The Mosaic law consists of 3 parts: civil law (governing system), ceremonial law (Animal sacrifices for sins, dietary law, cleanliness & dress codes, etc.) Combined they're over 600 rules commanding the Israelites to strict obedience, to help them thrive as a nation, & prepare them for the Messiah. The 3rd part is the Moral Laws (10 Commandments). Civil and ceremonial Laws do not apply to Gentiles. We are commanded to "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God." Romans 13:1. Jesus fulfilled the laws meaning every law pointed to Him, and he completed everything they pointed to by following them perfectly, so we no longer have to. Our sins are washed away by believing in Him(New Covenant), not by following civil & ceremonial (Old covenant). Jesus taught "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. If you do these two things you fulfill every law of the prophets." Matthew 22:37-40 The Moral law is the only of the Mosaic laws taught by Jesus and Paul for us gentiles in the new testament because it proceeds from God's character, it is written on every humans heart and will be the standard is which God will judge every unbeliever. People make the mistake of reading the OT first, when you should start by reading the NT Gospel of John which is addressed to Gentiles. Unbelievers think we like to pick and choose which laws to follow and point out the OT laws saying we are hypocrites by eating pork and wearing 2 threads, but just goes to show how ignorant they are.
If a Christian has a personal conviction about a certain ceremonial law they want to follow, that is perfectly fine, but they should not look down on someone that chooses not to observe it. And Christians who don't observe that certain law shouldn't condemn those who do. God is the ultimate Judge and both are acceptable to him. What matters to him is what is in your heart. For example, I personally choose to grown a beard to glorify God, but it's not necessary for salvation.

Christmas day if you look in history is not really the birthday of Jesus, there are a lot of facts that show that it wasnt, its just another pagan holiday taken by the Christians. The bible says nothing about decorating a tree etc, so we need to always go to the roots of what we are celebrating, even easter. ofcourse Jesus died and rose again but what is the meaning behind the name "easter" . So many things we have to unlearn and realise that we shouldnt blindly follow the worldly stuff. would deffs love to see him do a video on Christmas like you suggested

An interresting observation: In ACTS 10 When God tells Peter to slaughter and eat. Peter answers, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean."
this was about 40AD. If Jesus taught his diciples that they would no longer be under the law, why would Peter still not eat anything the Holy scriptures said was unclean?

God was letting Peter know that through Jesus he had cleansed what was once unclean.
Peter did interpret this vision, and it was not about food. Finish the whole chapter. He explains it after meeting Cornelius.

I've been watching a lot of AronRa recently (AronRa is an atheist youtuber), and I will admit that he's made me start to think twice about my belief in God. However, coming back to this channel gives me hope. ☺
