- Have fun with this one. Follow along as Jane paints a parrot in the jungle. Using bright, vivid colors, she brings the parrot to life while dealing with dribbles and a problematic parrot beak. More detailed classes can be found at her website, JaneSlivkaGallery.com. The cost for one class is only $25, and you can watch and rewatch it at your own pace. Included in the download is a reference photo and a list of paints used.

Thanks so much for another one of your wonderful videos. I particularly appreciate all your helpful painting hints as you explain what you're doing (as you paint). Great Idea. I just Love Colorful Parrots!
Thanks!
Is the sound of the ocean I hear in the background real? I am mesmerized by this painting!
I wish I could say it is ocean noise, but it is our sound system that needs to be upgraded. In the meantime, it picks up background noise.
So beautiful fantastic color❤

Merci+++@@freedomofacrylicswithartis5133
Thank you for the new video, do you share the reference photo of the parrot?
it appears on the video around 1:55 minutes in. it is up for awhile. An option is to take a screen shot and enlarge it.
@@freedomofacrylicswithartis5133 thank you that’s what I did!
Wish you could show us how to finish these paintings
The goal of these lessons is to show how to build a painting. Finishing it is more personal. Most importantly, I want to show how to block in shapes and values. The finished painting is always shown at the opening and closing of the tutorial.
May I ask why you don’t paint the dark background first?
I like the effect of painting around things instead of painting the background first. It creates more interesting shapes and gives it a looser feeling.
@@freedomofacrylicswithartis5133 thank you for your response.
