While they don't have necessarily have a lot of martial arts and detailed coreography I actually think a lot of horror movie fight scenes actually make more sense than a lot of action movie fight scenes. The fights are usually 1 vs 1, the bad guy can actually win, people grab and use weapons, victim tries to escape if given the opportunity and it's often messy and involves grappling.
If I had just seen a guy punch out the glass of a telephone booth with barely putting any effort into it and seeming to feel no pain from doing this or damaging his hand, I would be very reluctant to start engaging the guy in a boxing match.
Have you ever thought about doing a reaction for Buffy the Vampire slayer tv show? There’s tons of fights in those and lots of ridiculous kicking. Apparently you suddenly know karate when you rise from the dead.
I'm surprised he didn't give you one from Nightmare on Elm Street where a kid in martial arts is fighting Freddy. He actually was winning until Freddy resorts to dream control.
The actual name is Brain Dead (or Dead Alive, it has different names in different releases). It's how Peter Jackson got famous enough to get to do Lord of the Rings.
Braindead aka Dead Alive was the first Jackson's "big" budget movie, still it's just a b-movie with budget of $3 million and it's considered to be one of if not the bloodiest movies ever. That is what gave it's cult status. The Frighteners was the movie with the most digital effect shots at the time. Weta made software from scratch and did a great job with vfx thats what gave them opportunity to work on LOTR movies.
Next year: Sensei Seth goes thru a haunted house. Wearing a straight jacket to avoid punching everyone. And leg shackles to avoid kicking everyone. And Icy mike joins him.
You should watch Magnus Mitbo do Norwegian Hand to Hand Combat! He is a professional rock climber and the Norwegian Military lets him try out one of their most advanced hand to hand combat drills! Great video btw 🔥
It's interesting how few people actually understand why that two handed neck choke is pretty much the worst for anything other than consensual asphyxiation play. It's also interesting how few defense videos show the proper way to break that choke.
I was not expecting to see my boy[(s) penguinz0 and] Spoon in this video! Dog soldiers is an all time FAVOURITE PS the first werewolf was down, he got snuck up on by a second werewolf before delivering the finishing blow
My favorite movie ever is "Bad Taste." Don't get me wrong, "Dead Alive," is a work of genius, but "Bad Taste," is the most sentimental movie from my childhood. My Grandpa would put it on, and laugh uproariously while my brother and I tried not to puke. You'll know the part I'm talking about if you see it. I wouldn't really consider it a horror movie either. It's like slap stick comedy, but with guns and way over the top gore.
The Karate Priest vs zombies is from Braindead aka Dead Alive which was one of the first films by Peter Jackson who went on to direct King Kong & The Lord Of The Rings trilogy
If you are covering horror movie fight scenes you should cover the fight scene in They Live which had a record for the longest fight scene for a while In fact it was made because the John Carpenter the director wanted to make the longest fight scene ever
Jingle all the Way has a Santa Claus Fight Scene but I'm not sure there'd be much traditional martial arts there. I just recall a little person being thrown.
Don’t you ever talk shit about Dog Soldiers. That movie rules, and the creature design slaps Father McGruder is just the best. Sadly you didn’t show his best combo of the entire fight. Dude had some awesome level changes
nothing makes them 'halloween movies' - those are movies that take place on halloween horror movies is the genre scary movies are few and far between within the horror movie genre, plenty of horror movies that aren't at all scary (most of them) - gore and pain are other elements along with the fear element, and are done more often and a lot of people are afraid of dums

suprisingly yes
But for some reason the bad guys always have ungodly strength most time unexplainably😅🤣
@@TH3LR If the bad guy have similar strength to the protagonist then it shifts into thriller category.
Well if its against Michael none of that matters
He’s imortel
My favourite part was the karate priest scene having the same sound effect for every strike. Punch, kick, even the throws had that “PSH!” punch sound
I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD
Thats braindead, a peter jackson movie !
Seth: Don't lead with the gun.
Mike: Yes, padawan, your training serves you well.
;)

The werevolf movie is called Dog soldiers. It's not the same werewolf that was suddenly in a different spot. It was another werewolf.
Zack a G for throwing in Dog Soldiers.
My favorite werewolf movie.
Come on have a go if you think your hard enough
Can we just have a Seth watching scary movies compilation!
Fight scene breakdowns are about enough horror movie for me.
Thanks for taking one for the team, Seth.
Karate Priest looks pretty good though...
Also I'm looking forward to Sensei Seth's hip-hop music videos.

Seth has never been attacked by a demon monster zombie wearing a hockey mask and it shows.
6:50 Easy Dog Soldiers is one of the greatest werewolf movies ever
I have already clipped “I’m too high” from the first ten seconds, and I’m already dying to use it somewhere 😂
And Zack was never heard from again…
You gotta react to Busta Rhymes using Kung Fu against Michael Myers. It's a gem
I wanted to add it, but couldn't find a quality version so I nixed it. Next time.
@@ZakFerguson Understandable. It's so hard finding good quality clips a lot
Good choices, but you didn’t react to the movie “Velocipastor” 😅

I think Seth’s reactions are the highlight of this video.
Having the first one being Friday the 13th part 8 is the best!
Surprised for there wasn't the Busta Rhymes vs Michael Myers scene. Or the fight scenes in Descent.
Not gonna lie these horror reactions are actually pretty funny
Wolfcop. Part wolf, part man: ALL COP!!

"Too high", eh, Seth? 🤣
Relatable.
Day shift is easily one of the better horror flicks about vampires

Santa Clause fight scene? Mel Gibson as Santa in the 2020 movie Fatman. Watch it, love it, live it!
Attactic is my new favourite Seth-made term ❤

There were multiple wolves Seth! Dog Soldiers is a badass independent European movie you should give it a try it is surprisingly good.
30 days of night has a good fight scene at the end
Happy Halloween Seth!
Nice, I love seeing Charlie used for memes, mostly because he hates memes 🤣🤣🤣
11:25 We need a mix tape by Sensei Seth and Icy Mike. "DO THIS FOR STREETS" Master Wong
7:17 There was more than just one werewolf in Dog Soldiers
Seth's face on the thumbnail takes on It's own horrific appearance
In that first scene I can't help but think punching a goalie mask is going to hurt a lot more than being punched while wearing a goalie mask.
Check out the Freddy vs Jason main fight scene. You should also do a reaction video to Santa's Slay.
Jingle all the Way has a Santa Claus Fight Scene but I'm not sure there'd be much traditional martial arts there. I just recall a little person being thrown.
The context in friday the 13 is jason is killing everyone

Death battles like Michael miyers vs jason voorhees
Julius better be in this.
