Always loved the movies and love that you’re talking about them. Also the Colt in Mega Mountain was the younger Red Ranger in I think season 3 or the miniseries for Alien Rangers which was around season 3 and the bridge between MMPR and Power Rangers Zeo….I gotta admit I think it would be cool if you did some Power Rangers videos or even compared a Power Rangers fight to its Super Sentai counterpart. Although I do know that could be pretty tricky copyright wise as Toei (the company that makes Sentai) is notorious with their copyright stuff with RUclips

Man, I love 3 Ninjas 2. I remember going to see the OG and 2 in theaters as a kid. Had a huuuge crush on the Japanese girl lmaoo. This era of American martial arts movies are interesting to me from a production stand point because they're kind of a bridge from the often *really* bad fight choreography of the 80's to the much better stuff of the mid to late 90's. Especially for mainstream movies with martial arts.

Interesting bit of trivia, 3 Ninjas: Knuckle Up was the 2nd movie in the series timeline continuity. But, because the studio had distribution with Knuckle Up they weren’t able to release it before the release of Kick Back (the 3rd movie in the timeline). That’s why the kids in the OG film and the 3rd film are the same but they’re older and different in Kick Back (minus Colt, he stayed the same).
    Actual Order is:
    1. 3 Ninjas
    2. Knuckle Up
    3. Kick Back
    3.

I showed him these movies as well as the Karate Kid movies and he critiqued them as much as he watched and enjoyed them.

Really amazing if you think about that some of the best Jackie Chan's action movies were made even before the 90s.

The 80's/90's has a lot of martial arts B movies. Anyone remember Billy Blanks? Ted Jann Roberts?
