Major Jon, could you point us towards someone's review of the current plugins available and what they do/how they perform? Or do a video series about those? I'm super interested about plugins but haven't really been into them for the inherent risk they bring and I think it's an unexploited topic in SE that deserves more attention and awareness :'D

I don't know if they'd behave the same way - part of the dmg/penetration is due to physics not catching up and blocks going inside before being registered.

Okay: Piston cannon, with drill head as a penetrator, timer block and explosive blocks in the middle to detonate the penetrator after it comes to a near stop, heavy armor blocks on the rear to provide mass.
If done right, there should not only be immense damage, but very little if any evidence of what caused the damage.
Counterpoint: heavy armor tipped projectile with a drill embedded at the front but exposed, add a sensor that detects grids at 7 meters with a bomb fuse of 1 second and boom you got an armor piercing weapon that shatters heavy armor and then liquefies the insides of whatever it impacts in an instant lmao.

have you ever played the keen servers. I would love to see you design a sort of multi purpose "mother ship" for the keen servers. Keen servers have a limit of 20,000 pcu.

90% time in space = ion thrusters
planet capable = Hydrogen
1x large cargo
2x large hydrop
good defense
ability to build/launch offensive automatons
Half pcu for mother ship other half for automatons and mining craft

The issue with these plugins is they are injection hacks which means they are adding or modifying the code of the game. It is almost trivial to use them to gain a massive advantage in multiplayer not to mention slightly modifying the existing ones or making your own.
