Freddie was very ill when this was recorded ,hence the video of clips ( he died 10 months later R.I.P ) it’s amazing how strong his voice still is here ,he recorded “ These are the days of our lives” after . he had to record it in small pieces as he was so ill,but still insisted he did it.makes me cry

Thank you for another great Queen reaction. Fantabulous indeed, though Freddie would just say "Fab." This is truly a masterpiece. BoRhap was wonderful, but this is beyond my vocabulary. I love it more every time I hear it. Chills & tears. That's how I react in the presence of great beauty when words fail me.

The video still holds up. Visually beautiful. Looking forward to your Wembley reaction!

Thank you for this reaction! Absolutely love when you drop in some musical knowledge. This song amazes me, confuses me, and makes me want to cry. Sometimes all three at once. I have a feeling an entire book could be written analyzing it second by second, and I would read it in a heartbeat, but that could never properly happen without Freddie's input.

Wonderful reaction! This is the only song Queen had a guest musician play on. That’s Steve Howe from Yes playing the Spanish guitar in the midsection.
Freddie had stopped smoking the last few years of his life and his vocals just got better and better. 🎶🔥🎶❤️🎶

Yes I agree this is one of their best. I was surprised Simon from American Idol was so quick to dismiss it as a terrible song when Adam Lambert chose it as one of his performances. So sad for Simon.

And the 4 excellent musicians worked together in the studio to achieve the tightness...watch a few of the videos where they build the product, so to speak. That's why we must always applaud all four of them. I've seen them argue over what is needed from one or the other - then come to the conclusion we now enjoy.

The snare in the third part of this song (after the Spanish guitar part) made this one of the songs that inspired me to learn drums. They are explosively loud and sharp! Love it!

It's the last record before Fredie passed away and one of their best. The flamenco part on this track was made by Steve Howe from YES. Nice work man !

In my personal opinion this song has always killed borap for me. This song is a literal masterpiece. A song written and sung by a man on deaths door who gave every last essence of his being while he had time to give it. It’s incredible.

    Fantabulous: chiseled indeed! 🙃😘
This is the best concentration of what Queen have done, IMHO! And thinking about the fact that Freddy Mercury with his "last breath" pressed his group companions to record as much as he could feeling life was escaping: just impressive!!!😍

My favourite Queen song. You can feel the anger and pain as they are heading to the end. This whole album was a gift as it was thought that Freddie would have died after making The Miracle album as he was so unwell. He found the strength to continue and made a Queen worthy record before he passed. The lyrics are clearly what was playing on his mind towards the end

Freddy, and only he at this time, knew he is literally dying while doing this album. He told his band mates, just as he couldn't hide it anymore. Sometimes he wasn't even able to stay for More than a couple of hours. At the last vids of him you can see him fading away.

I think you may have reacted to some Eric Clapton songs but I'd really like to see your reaction to one of his more bluesy numbers like "Five Long Years" (written by Eddie Boyd). Here's the link ruclips.net/video/Fc-uDW5Xyng/видео.html
