There are a lot of great singers, but you were right in the beginning..he's unmatched. he's NOT just a heavy metal singer..he does it ALL and his range and adaptability is rare these days. In addition, he doesn't just sing, he performs..something else that is rare these days.

I love this! His Angels We Have Heard on High is stunning.... he transforms a pretty carol into a powerful roaring of Angels! And his Scarborough Fair is mesmerizing. And one reactor checked that last note as an A6!!
Dan excels at updating regular good songs & making them #1. He has the ear, feel, skills, & talent to update with power. He truly amazes me.
Donny Osmond did this song, originally, & we all know how up beat & smooth Donny performs. But, Dan, wow wow wow.

Donny Osmond sings this in the animated version and I always liked it. This? Dan is phenomenal! I told my son to listen to this when he works out. It’s like having a personal drill sergeant for a few minutes (or entire workout if you use the repeat button)

To see his versatility you should check out Dan’s performance of Nessun Dorma and songs like The Last Goodbye, American Trilogy, The Star Spangled Banner(lol and his apology after to anti-americanists that were offended by it) and songs like The Phantom of the Opera, The Music of the Night… a collab he did with his hero Fabio LioneL Dawn of Victory… and of course his latest Epic cover of the Number of the Beast from Iron Maiden.
