My first video to ever hit 1 Million Views! I hope you found it entertaining, as I loved making it. Though I don't really dance anymore (I've since switched to lifting and martial arts as my post COVID physical activity), I'm glad it help entertain so many people and was never expecting it to be this huge. Thank you for reading this and for watching the video! Despite this channel being an AI/Tech channel, I hope you found joy out of this, as the internet can be a very pessimistic place sometimes, and I hope I'm able to brighten your day!
This type of video on a channel like mine, with an entirely different theme and industry, shows how random RUclips can be sometimes, and that you shouldn't base your RUclips success too much on metrics but rather your enjoyment on making and sharing the video. Life's hard enough, why do we need to make it any harder?
I remember my first time trying the Kazotsky Kick dance. I was Grade 7 and an acquaintance from another class was somewhat my friend. I was practicing in the hallway and it hurt like hell. After trying again and again, it continued to burn my legs and it felt like they were about to fall off. I tried starting with the balancing of my squat so that my heels stay up. It took months. Next year, Grade 8, I was able to do it, but only for a short while. It still hurt, and it still burned. I could only last about like 4 seconds doing. There were stretch marks don't the sides of my knees. I tried doing the Demoman's version but then I realized how bad my upper body strength and core were and I failed. Life goes on and on, with that acquaintance occasionally dropping by to give me a full skii mask and shades so he could record me trying it, which he found cool. Grade 9, the pandemic hit. I wasn't able to do it at all. Grade 10, back at it again. I didn't do it much because of the stress of the pandemic. But when I tried to dance, I realized that it was easy... But I'm still shit at the Demoman's version though haha. Grade 11, I CAN WALK FORWARD, BACKWARD, JUMP CONSECUTIVELY WHILST DOING THE KAZOTSKY KICK IN ANY SURFACE! CARPET, PLASTER, CEMENT, ALL OF IT! I FELT INVINCIBLE. Moral of the story: Keep working, become god. P.S.: I still couldn't do the Demoman's version. Fuck.
After learning the moonwalk, smooth criminal emote, spin, default dance, back flip (kind of), frog stand (not a dance, but still cool), handstand (also not a dance), and windmills, this is the next dance on the list.
For those of you with not much leg muscle strength or are at risk of pulling a muscle when bouncing up and down, I recommend exchanging the position of your feet slowly. The way I did it when learning this to begin with was by stretching one leg out before brining it back in to sit next to my other foot, and then putting my other foot out. That way, you get can the basic idea of doing it sitting up, among some other benefits I can't really think of. Pulling a muscle/tendon/ligament or whatever is very serious business, and doing this without the proper training/strength or just plain carelessness can result in some damaging consequences. I don't want anyone to harm themselves doing this, because it can end up with some lifelong consequences. So stay safe out there.
I agree, having your muscles pulled in your leg is part of the process, but you definitely need to take care of your legs as they're what transport your body everywhere!
@@jockson7574 I wouldn't say so, it should be fairly painless for most of your lower half. You'll experience some stress on your legs and feet, but it shouldn't be painful, if that's what you're saying. Before doing it, try doing some warmups and stretches, it might be you're just not used to it.
A month later we are at a quarter of a million views! This is quite an old, but amusing video of mine that brings back memories of how I used my COVID-19 lockdown time in a positive way. I've since transitioned from dance to martial arts, but I'm glad my younger self entertained so many people in a way that connects with my own culture and brought Ukrainian, Russian, and Slavic cultures together despite the current horrible conflicts in Ukraine that's hurt my own family. The internet should always be a place where we come together despite differences and make everyone's lives better and have fun while doing it. This video is such an example.
As someone who just learned this in under a week, what helped me was doing 1 legged squats, then trying the dance in the beginning and end of every day, on top of these inductions of course.
I remember in third grade I was rehearsing for some kind of school event and one of the dance moves was similar to this my entire legs hurt for a few days, now I do the Kazotsky Kick and just look at my past and then think to myself “I was such a clown for not warming up.”
