Kinda funny watching two grown men making such a noise, but them little boys inside are still in there. Awesome nature adventure, thanks for the walk. Happy 4th wherever you end up at.
THANK YOU ADAM!!!! After 6 years of following you, thank you for making it up to New England and Massachusetts. Its so great to see my home state again and you are doing a great job covering it all.
Hi Adam - I live locally and have been to most of these locations, starting at Dungeon Rock as a kid, up to Giggles Comedy Club at Prince of Pizza, as a much older kid. Thank you for visiting Pleasure Island. I ended up writing books on this park, Freedomland in the Bronx, and Magic Mountain in Golden, CO. They are all long gone. They were designed by mostly former Disney and MGM talent for investors trying to mimic Disneyland.
Hung out at Dungeon Rock as a kid. One night was at the bottom of the staircase about 100 ft below where the staircase turned to water. Bubbles appeared in the water. Got super scared 😳. A skindiver emerged from the water! He had dived to the bottom. Said he found nothing. Frequented treasure Island as a kid also. The whale would pop up via hydraulics during the boat ride. It was a great park. 🤔
Adam and his friend find places I didn't know existed in the Boston area. Have been to Boston many times and never, ever seen all the places you have been. Thanks again Adam, your travels are top notch. (and your editing is real good)
The bird was a "ROBIN" :) I visited Pleasure Island as a child. It was NO Disney but it was fun as a kid. The apartments and office buildings were not there. Thanks for taking us along through my New England area!
Pleasure Island: spent a whole day there with family "back in the day." They did have a disney style dark ride called the "Wreck of the Hesperus". I saw Moby Dick come out of the water. A "pirate" greeted you when you got on the boat. There were burro rides around a pond. I think they had a train too. A lot of fun.
Back in the 80's - 90's Echo Bridge was a big party spot for high school kids, myself included. A lot of teenage drinking went on there. Had some fun nights on and under that bridge back in the day.
I love all the little places you’re finding in the Boston area. My dad and uncle used to talk about the whale from Pleasure Island but I didn’t know where it was. I think that old building you were looking at in Malden Square was an old department store and movie theater from the 70s.
I went to Pleasure Island as a kid in the 60’s. I only remember an old western town section, and a staged shootout with bank robbers. There was an old steam train that took you through the woods around the perimeter of the park. I went back in the 70’s, long after the park closed. We squeezed an old Chevy Impala between 2 boulders at the entrance, which were meant to keep vehicles out, and ended up driving on the old railroad line around the park. The rails, and most of the railroad ties had been removed, and it was all overgrown. Unlike you, that was my only experience exploring an abandoned theme park. Thanks for the memories!!
Hey Adam a little north we’re you are in Salem NH is American Stonehenge. America's Stonehenge is a privately owned tourist attraction and archaeological site consisting of a number of large rocks and stone structures scattered around roughly 30 acres within the town of Salem, very cool if you want to see nature.
Thank you Adam for bringing adventure in the positive sides of life do your viewers on a daily basis. You are a breath of fresh air always. You have beautiful sense of life and an urge to experience as much of it as you can and then bring it to others👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
OK, we watched this episode on the big screen like usual. Had us laughing so bad with the sounds you guys were making. Oh, man. Love and hugs from Canada Adam
Gosh I live in the state and I never knew about the dungeon rock! That thing looks really cool! I looked it up..it's opened a couple of hours on certain days when the weather is good and if you want a "special tour" of it you can call the local Park Ranger and they'll give you a tour of the tunnels underneath! Don't quote me on it but this was on their website.🌲
There’s nothing like connecting with nature & living creatures❣️🌲🦆🐳🦉🪱🕸🕷🐇🐿Great panoramic views, pirates cellars, bridges, lakes, rushing rivers, etc. etc. ❤️🙏🏻
I live in Lynn, and is freaking awesome watching Adam and Max exploring my stomping ground. I have been and gone down halfway of the stairway of Dungeon Rock unfortunately it was full of water. Another awesome video!
FUN FACT: Pleasure Island was built by none other than C.V. Wood- the same guy who built Disneyland for Walt... then ended up getting fired and excised from the company's history because of shady kickback deals made with retail investors... then started a new company that promised to build DLands in every major metro area around the country... Spoiler alert: He failed spectacularly. Theres also an unofficial 'historical society" that gives walking tours of the site every few years..
Oh my gosh that turtle 🐢 is everything. I’m loving all the greenery scenery Adam. I love nature.. that steel door was crazy what a find. Man, Adam the things you get yourself into is ridiculous.
Lynn Woods: went to the bottom many times using flashlights or candles "back in the day." It is very slippery after the wooden steps end. Go a little further and water stops you.
That skinny house reminds me of the single wide trailers back in the day...I believe in the 1970s that even made an 8ft wide version with two doors on the same side:0 perfect for getting snowed in 😃 😀 😄
I used to live down the street from Echo Bridge! Hemlock Gorge was like our own playground when we were kids. We just ran around there all the time. Brought back so many good memories! You should check out Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. You'll love the view from the top of the 125 ft. medieval tower in the middle of it. It feels more like a public garden than a cemetery. It's really gorgeous.
Hi Adam!! My 4 year old son and I love watching your videos, We both like to say Join me Shall you! ( Along with you..lol) You bring happiness to us Thank you for that. Be safe out there!!!
What a beautiful video again and so funny with the echo ! I wish I was there to yell and make the coyote s sound with you both 😀!! You have right to laugh and take good time in life. Thank you for sharing these simples moments
Cool Adam and Max...Boston is a fun area. Fun fact: the Leaning Pizza Place was started by the Prince Macaroni Company in Lowell, MA in the early 60's...Prince was one of the large early pasta Companies in Stores and on TV commercials. Saugus used to be the area of Large Signage for Restaurants..IE; The Hilltop Steak House and the Kowloon. Take care, CJ, the guy who is the "Ghost Sign" guy.
I grew up right off the Fellsway in Melrose. So I lived between the woods and Breakheart. The stories I could tell you about Breakheart. It was quite the party place at one time. Anyway, this brings back so many memories. I have a couple of photos of me at Pleasure Island. I also used to work at Analogic not to far where Pleasure Island is. Prince pizza is one place I miss being out here in the desert now. I miss Boston. Thanks, I was feeling a little homesick.
Glad to see you made it to my neck of the woods. I grew up in Saugus. As a kid I have been to the bottom of Dungeon Rock. More videos like this please. Nice job.
A little bit more of exploration in nature. I like it, I like it, I like it. Never knew about these particular spots. Thank you again for sharing and bringing us along
Must admit i love seeing all the trees and the wildlife, loved the narrow house, that echo bridge never heard an echo like you and Max were getting Adam before, wow Thankyou
Dungeon Rock is awesome! It’s pitch black down there and totally has a Pirates of the Caribbean feel… At the end of the cave there is a pretty deep pool of water which is where the treasure is allegedly buried. My grandpa told me about pleasure island years ago. I wonder if the whale is at the bottom of the lake…
HEY ATW...COWBELL MAX? BOSTON? I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T SEE IT UNTIL RIGHT NOW!?!! Rays vs Red Sox at Fenway!?!! I must see the bottom of the staircase beyond the metal door! The acoustics at Echo Bridge were incredible even over RUclips. Really a educational and fun vlog.
Nice to see you go to the office park where my office is that I haven’t been to much over the last couple of years since I have been working from home when I was there I would walk around at lunch looking for remnants of Pleasure Island When I used to drive by those satellite dishes on my way out work I remember thinking they were outdated
Went to Pleasure Island a couple of times as a kid. Was a fun place but my last trip you could tell it was running out of time. Even the whale was missing from the Moby Dock ride.
That Echo Bridge was awesome!!! You find some of the most interesting and unusual places to visit. The giant whale at Pleasure Island was too cool!!! Wonderful travel video, including the dungeon cave and it did remind me of Chatsworth - Spahn Ranch area as well. Attaboy, Adam the Woo,!!!
Woo its so rad waking up with a hot coffee and your vlogs...THANKS ✌🕶 That secret door was so cool, almost like something outta the Goonies, you don't miss much I enjoy when u see other things in the distance or off to the side while filming..you've got a great eye. That echo 🤣
Love your content. When u first announced u were stepping back from Disney content- I was a little sad but was open to see what u would do/Create. Love your content so much!! It’s my favorite thing. Never miss an episode usually. Awesome. Loved echo bridge!
My hometown territory! BREAKHEART: this is where my family started all our camping adventures back in the day...early 60's. Think I saw the area we camped too! Later on my brothers and I would ride our bikes the length of the road. Last mile or so there is a steep incline down. One time my brakes wouldn't work and the bike went wobbly on me. I crashed on the street and got really bad scrapes. Reminds me of Adam's fall on his bike.
So much great exploring!! Especially excited to see the your take on Breakheart and there views of pleasure island remnants right here in my town. The dog park and trails at Breakheart are a favorite of ours and our pup!
Hey man I have watched you on and off the last 8 years or so on and off ...been through several road trips with you but for some reason I have enjoyed this one the most ..I don't know why maybe it has more to do with my life now I really don't know ..You lose me on the theme park stuff but that's ok you and others really get a kick out of it and I loved them when I was younger .I think you are getting burnt out and its understandable and someday you will hang your spikes up for good but I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your nomadic life that some people dream about but cannot follow through for whatever reason sort of like Dick proenneke who went to the wilderness of Alaska in his fifties , built a cabin by himself and lived there alone for thirty years documenting life with an 8mm camera (he may have over did it a little ) anyway you may never see this but if you do .. thank you also just saying I like Daphne she is pretty ,funny and cool
hello adam , very cool and interesting video , that first little lake looked so nice , omg that echo bridge was so cool , well done and thank you guys :)
That echo bridge was some real science! That was one of the most amazing things ever 😀

Echo and the Bunnywoos!

@@thedorseyway Every day you wake up.
"Lynn Lynn the city of sin. You don't come out the way you went in!"
I went to Pleasure Island when I was a kid. Of course I am now 70 so that was a looooong time go!
Happy you are still filming cool things for all these years rock on man however I do miss the OG atw theme song haha
Great, awesome, outdoor adventures, Adam and Max, and a few shots of the city... You should've yelled out, 'ADAM the WOOoooo...'
👏👏🤠🌞
THANK YOU ADAM!!!! After 6 years of following you, thank you for making it up to New England and Massachusetts. Its so great to see my home state again and you are doing a great job covering it all.
I love seeing you and Max hanging out and having fun. We really do need to just step away and enjoy nature sometimes; the more the better.
We feel at peace due to the fact we are part of Nature.

Yep, that is why the oriole would not come as called....he most certainly was an eastern robin looking for worms!
