I’ve said this before. If I die and my house is left behind like this it means my family was not interested. I’m cool with explorers. I’m even cool with taking souvenirs. Just please no graffiti and don’t leave poop in the toilets. All the best, Ethan. Been following you for several years.
Very cool mid-60s home! I think the Streisand album came out around 64-65. “Camelot” was a Broadway musical starring Julie Andrews and Richard Burton. That album came out around 61-62 and I have read that it was a favorite of President Kennedy. Englebert Humperdinck had many hits in the mid sixties and a TV variety show in 69/70. He still performs in concert to this day!
Wow! So many cool 60’s features. Love those doors. Love the fireplaces. Love the cool light fixtures. A really classy house in its day. Love the huge property. Most of all I love the style, the architecture of the time period. What a shame water is getting to it and destroying it. I would have loved the chance to restore it while updating it just a bit. Some of the bits of treasure should be rescued and I think former owners would be pleased that someone took an interest and saved them like all of those classic record albums. I don’t condone “stealing” but it’s different if you’re rescuing something that was once important to someone from a landfill. Society is losing letting so many homes be wasted. I would rather live in this classic 60’s home restored than in a brand new ugly gray concrete monstrosity that would replace. Sorry for being so opinionated but it makes me sad to see lifetimes just wiped out by evil excavators. Ethan thank you for sharing this extra cool place. Maybe some disposable gloves and mold blocking masks would come in handy! Take care of yourself be well and stay safe!!
Oh back in the day it would have been so nice! The house so pretty and the property so nice as well. Too bad they couldn’t keep it up. So sad! Thanks Ethan this find was awesome!
Not at all what I was expecting! Very fancy gold decor and vases! The black bathroom is amazing, cool 😎 So happy when toilets are closed because I watch you and your houses at Lunchtime 😊
Beautiful house. So many 70s touches. A few 80s. I could almost imagine walking into that house and MY parents be there. I'm sure it's filled with memories of laughter and family. OMG. I have all those same records from my mom.
This is a nice place. Too bad for the black mold. Someone should have used a dehumidifier YEARS ago in the basement. Along with a sump pump. Thanks Ethan. I always look forward to your videos.
Love your vids Ethan. Yes indeed, such a shame for the basement, looks like it had most of the 60s/70s decor left behind, wood panel walls, funky wallpaper etc.
This house was well lived in and well loved. I am by myself so I can understand how things can go downhill when you can’t afford it or afford somebody to come in and help repair. If you don’t have any family or friends or a good support group I just kind of breaks my heart because you’re going in and out the rooms of someone who actually lived in this house, not too long ago and did their best in trying to live in it the way it was 😟. Thank you for sharing you take care and be safe🫶🏻❤️🤠
Sad To Be Overlooked.... Worse To Be Forgotten.... Such A Shame That Such A Beautiful Home Was Left To Rot.... 😢 I've Seen Explorations On This Home Multiple Times, And Every Single Time It Draws Me In.....
This place was crazy cool!! I totally love this era of homes, especially when they are left original! I love the wall paper, and the master bath, and the original, detailed doors. The fireplaces were very nice also. Too bad the basement was flooded, there's no doubt it was probably really cool too! The definitely had expensive taste with all the ornate decor pieces popular in that period. It's always great to see the outside as well, thanks! 🤟✌️
Hey Ethan..great job ..love this house, original features 👌..shame they didn't have a pool plenty of room for it...seemed very welcoming inside ..like the idea of the last bedroom you showed..fireplaces cool...keep doing what you do ❤️...stay safe well and happy 💋
I think it has to do with the electricity being turned off. That also turns off the sum pump. So excess water doesn't get drained out. Not on all the houses but most .
Great explore Ethan! Shame that it’s been neglected as I’m sure it would have been a great house in its day! Too bad the basement was flooded, that would have been cool to see! Those LP records were interesting, the one you dropped was James Last, a German Big Band Composer whose first album was in 1965 and did instrumental themes of the top hits of the day. Your generation wouldn’t have heard too much about him. I have quite a lot of his albums. Look him up on Wikipedia, it’s quite interesting. Thanks again for the video, appreciate your time spent on these visits! Keep safe and please wear gloves if you touch stuff👍
Hello Ethan Wow there are so many glass doors in this home! I’m a fan of oldies records played my dads growing up! I love Englehart Humperdink!!! 🤣 They left some nice stuff Whoa that master bedroom is NICE I LOVE PATSY CLINE! She had a beautiful voice What a nice old home, can’t believe they left that fur 😳 Sad about the darn basement
Finally a cool house that hasn’t been updated. That must have really been a showplace back in the day. Too bad the basement was flooded, I’m sure it was cool. Shocking it was lived in so recently. Yikes.
That is a sad house to me. It once was filled with life and joy but the occupants obviously aged and were unable to keep up with the maintenance of the house and it fell into a nasty state of repair before their demise.
You know. This is one house I’d break the rules of exploring on. There’s so much cool stuff left I’d come back at night with a trailer and just plain old loot. I know, bad, but the cool stuff!!!!
Yes! Gosh you get some great finds. Gorgeous walls of glass looking into the backyard, isn’t it strange how these old windows have that odd way of sectioning the panes, I wonder if that was due to limits to technology and not being able to produce single walls of glass? Anyways, that frigging fireplace in the living room, I’d love something like that in a house I owned. Had to laugh at that lavish over the top black bathroom. Only enough that black theme pattern wall paper is making a come back as we leave the era of generic beige grey and white behind us. Nice dining room, would have been formal, probably hardly used. The interior glass doors are also beautiful, bevelled glass is incredibly expensive, I hope the developer has someone to come and save that stuff. It’s gets great prices on the retro market. It never ceases to amaze me how people move out and leave so much crap behind, here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 if u did that you’d forfeit any deposit you’d paid if you were renting, so people tend to clear everything. I can’t believe how much good stuff is still there , the furniture and paintings and mirrors. Amazing. Ohhh that basement is gross. I bet there’s a bar, fireplace….. you know luxe 1963 ish. Great find, loved it.
Very cool house. Sad the things left behind. I just don’t understand why family doesn’t take care of the stuff and memories. The chandeliers are pretty. People would love the vinyls. It seems like a pretty big house. Dude, are you ever going to get masks and gloves?! I understand not having a regular camera but really, you need to take care of yourself!
Ethan, please get a pair of contact gloves as you are consistently touching everything. Much of what you are touching as spores on the surface and other various molds, particularly black mold variety.
You m i s s e d😢 three what is up you guys☹️ do you know how many expensive antiques I just saw in the house it makes me sick thinking that somebody's going to tear that house down with that stuff in it it breaks my heart💔💔
Whatever you do Ethan, do not ring a bell ,there's a huge (1-0 KO) boxer standing behind you😅 for real Ethan, these houses are getting more and more moldy. mask up if you have to bro😷

Some of the glass vases left behind are very collectible now. You do such a great job of showing everything. love the video
Not at all what I was expecting! Very fancy gold decor and vases! The black bathroom is amazing, cool 😎
So happy when toilets are closed because I watch you and your houses at Lunchtime 😊
Very beautiful house! Too bad it will be torn down! Cool video bro! ❤️🤘👍
Nice tour of the place Ethan 😁
Beautiful house. So many 70s touches. A few 80s. I could almost imagine walking into that house and MY parents be there. I'm sure it's filled with memories of laughter and family.

This is a nice place. Too bad for the black mold. Someone should have used a dehumidifier YEARS ago in the basement. Along with a sump pump. Thanks Ethan. I always look forward to your videos.
The decor didn't really match the architecture. But the house was so cool. Another great find. Thanks for sharing
Love your vids Ethan. Yes indeed, such a shame for the basement, looks like it had most of the 60s/70s decor left behind, wood panel walls, funky wallpaper etc.
Ethan one the best houses you have found . It’s too bad the owners had to go quickly.❤😊 Thanks for your dedication ❤
Loved this house! So many cool features!!! Thanks for bringing this to us!
The black bathroom is EVERYTHING.
This house was well lived in and well loved. I am by myself so I can understand how things can go downhill when you can’t afford it or afford somebody to come in and help repair. wow I would have guessed it was a banded a lot longer . thanks for sharing . ❤❤❤ Stay safe love ya
Love the black bathroom, and the master was insane! The crystal light fixtures are all me. Such a shame that they are knocking it down.
Hey Ethan..great job ..love this house, original features 👌..shame they didn't have a pool plenty of room for it...seemed very welcoming inside ..like the idea of the last bedroom you showed..fireplaces cool...keep doing what you do ❤️...stay safe well and happy 💋
Hi Ethan!❤ I have a question, why are all the basements in Canada always flooded? That would’ve been a beautiful home without all the water damage 😔
I think it has to do with the electricity being turned off. That also turns off the sum pump. So excess water doesn't get drained out. Not on all the houses but most .
Omg love watching videos. Love your detail to showing us all the relevant info.

The inside of the house is amazing😊
That is a sad house to me. It once was filled with life and joy but the occupants obviously aged and were unable to keep up with the maintenance of the house and it fell into a nasty state of repair before their demise.

Who ever was living here they must love music because they had a lot of music records
For a mid 60 century home, it's gorgeous.😊
Great video
All that vinyl , so cool
❤❤❤❤❤❤ beautiful 🤩
You know. This is one house I’d break the rules of exploring on. There’s so much cool stuff left I’d come back at night with a trailer and just plain old loot. I know, bad, but the cool stuff!!!!
So there were books and a doll in this house and some pictures. My best guess is that whoever lived here had grandchildren or something.
Oh my goodness Ethan. What a interesting house.i enjoyed everything about it
PS I'm ordering more for my collection Wenseday everything after dinner ❤
These people must have been the same age as my parents because my mom had all of those same albums. That house is amazing. Too bad about the basement.
Looks like a cheetah 🐆

Greetz from Belgium-->keep up the good work
Really cool house! You should get disposable gloves. No more rat poison on your hands. 😃
Kool
Englebert Humperdinck, most famous For The Danke Shane song lol
Those dolls look like they could kill!
You've never heard of Englebert Humperdink? I'm shocked!!
WOW !!!🥰
So many cool things. Why would they leave so many things? 😢a picture of their baby?
Non ne touche’ pas Ethan!
Wow!
This would have been my dream house!
What happens to all of the things that were left behind? Does someone go through it all? Or does it just get thrown away?
Englebert Humperdink still is performing in Vegas.
I think when you find flocked wallpaper you should say “what the flock?”
How many "What's up guys" did we not get????
Those two chairs are french provincial. Possibly Louis the 15th. They were built to be ornate not for comfort.
Ethan, please get a pair of contact gloves as you are consistently touching everything. Much of what you are touching as spores on the surface and other various molds, particularly black mold variety.
Another? Busy dude.
Do you know what en suite means? (It’s French).
It means literally…”in following”.
I'm a lit late but hey ethan
Let me guess it will be torn down?
yes
You m i s s e d😢 three what is up you guys☹️ do you know how many expensive antiques I just saw in the house it makes me sick thinking that somebody's going to tear that house down with that stuff in it it breaks my heart💔💔
