One thing I love about pat being gone is we hear all the aj hawk stories🤣
And no one gets interrupted, and there’s no one on the show to suck off the players/the guests
@@danieldelcarpio5446 Sounds like you aren't a fan of Pat, so why are you here?
@@AllegedlyAlec Didnt realize Pat was a one man show. I imagine hes hear because he likes the whole team vs just one guy.
Real
@@danieldelcarpio5446 🤓
Kinda nice having Pat away for a bit. Love hearing AJ and Pac chat amongst themselves. Pat would never let the happen without cutting in 12 times 😅
Yea that’s began to steer me away from the show tbh
LMAO
Hey, shut up
ABSOLUTE FACTS LOL
hes becoming a personality and not just a dude now@@XRTRACING
Lmao when AJ asked Pac how many years he was in Cincy and he said 9, I immediately said “damn”. Everybody was thinking the same thing 😂
They made the playoffs 5 of his 8 seasons there (he said 9 but it was 8 seasons). They just lost all 5 playoff games.
Agree, it was nice to see them again!
@dashoot99 it prolly felt like nine after all those play-off losses. 😂
Yep I’m a bengals fan and that surprised me
Nice being able to hear Pac and AJ communicate without Pat racing around at 400 mph.
Imagine you sit down after a full practice for lunch and they bring out some lunchables for the team 😂 Pac sitting there spreading the sauce pack on the pizzas or stacking ham and crackers
I can’t unsee it now 😂
lol this concept could make for a hilarious sketch for a team to make.
Or in real life, imagine the players personal chefs trying to serve their clients lunch in the same timespan… when other NFL teams might throw in a little pocket change (for these guys) and have their own personal chefs…
@TheAustinKendall they do those in the end-zone if they can find time. Remember after Buffalo and they did snow-angels in the end-zone! Our guys are so fun to watch..
They should have someone like Fitzpatrick who has played in a bunch of different facilities for a bunch of different teams to talk more about this
Lol
Him and Josh McCown
Someone should ask him to design one. He’s seen enough to see what works and what doesn’t better than some professionals.
ya or Dontae Johnson. dude has signed like 20 contracts lol
Long time bengals fan and I loved hearing them finally talk about their time there. I was hyped when we signed Aj Hawk and to see him and pac man talking about it is amazing
Couldn’t imagine growing up to be disappointed week after week
@@gackleballsg2034 well just ask your parents after they gave birth to you
@@jackashmoreAJ Hawk was past his prime when he signed with the Bengals 😊
@@jackashmore nah that was uncalled for💀💀
Why is pac leg darker than the bottom part
The whole NFLPA report card thing reminds me of something my dad used to tell me: never underestimate the power of public embarrassment to make things happen.
“I felt very confident in our team, especially in our defense. If someone wanted to fight us, we’re OK.” 😂
He was thinking about Burfect, I guarantee it
PacMan is one CB I would not want to mess with, hes like the Steve Smith of CornerBacks.
It’s one of the reasons the Bengals were willing to take guys with character concerns. Bengals management were concerned for years about having to match the toughness/meanness of the Steelers and the Ravens. They wanted guys that would not back down from either of those teams.
He wasn’t wrong either lol
Glad Pacman is on the show. Gave me an opportunity to totally change my opinion about someone. He just tells it like it is. Hats off!
He has a temper, but by most accounts of the people who know him - he’s actually a very caring and generous dude. He adopted Chris Henry’s son a few years after he died.
The Bengals have changed so much since Katie Blackburn took over.
Hey, her, Tobin, and Katie's husband have really been stepping the Bengals profile up these last few years. I'm sooo happy Brown entrusted the team to her and them.
@@fr0stb1ght34 it’s like night and day.
but they have done nothing to try to win. They are slow to victory.
DeShaun Watson heard Denver has massages and is pissed he chose Cleveland now 😂
But did they let players bring their own towels...
Marvin paved the way for the position that the Bengals are in today. Lifelong fans know 🐅
As a packers fan how abour trading us that joe burrow? Heard the kid sucks off the field.
@@Eugenepanels Na yall got Jordan Love now, youll be ok lmao
Owen 💯 . Marvin is still the 3rd most winning Bengals coach of all time. Stephen A Smith did Marvin's reputation dirty.
@@neubianx I think he's number one fr.
Edit: winning percentage it's forrest Gregg which is close but Marvin has the most wins and it's 3rd overall in winning percentage and is over .500
@@neubianx Marvin’s the number 1 winning coach in Cincinnati
The last 20 minutes of the show was incredible.
This segment was so good, I didn't even notice Pat wasn't in it lol
Facts
AJ was actually smiling and laughing today it was awesome
I mean, most of us not getting paid millions and paying for our own lunch.
Its the Pacman show now Pat. You have been drafted to be on team dad.
😂😂
As a Bengals fan - love hearing AJ and Pac-Man reminisce! Many years cheering Pac (Adam in the years that was requested 😁) on from my end zone corner seats! Could not have loved it more when AJ joined the team!! Used to work for his dad (an amazing guy) so was so cool to directly cheer on his son!!
As a bengals fan. I’m so glad they are finally getting around to the times from bussiness to changing the name of the stadium to upgrading facilities and everything. The brown family finally reached into they filled pockets and invested so the team can win.
Same here , life long fan , wasnt born during the boomer days , so never knew what it was like to win like this , lol
Comes with the territory of having a winning team... there are TV appearances, so it has to look good!
hearing pac talk about denver made me so happy. i’ve always known we were a world class organization but i feel like it doesn’t get talked about enough that after that super bowl win, our owner died, peyton retired, and kubiak resigned as head coach. that would kill any franchise and we’re just now barely recovering from that. but before that we were world class at every level and it honestly doesn’t surprise me hearing pac man praise denver the way that he did.
uniforms are dogshit though
Who Dey say dey need sanitary and safe working conditions.
Love the addition of pacman. He was cool on IAMATHLETE but I feel like on this show he’s able to actually talk football in a fun environment
It’s amazing how well he fits in 10/10
Being a Ohio State fan and a Bengals fan having AJ Hawk on the team for a year was good
Never realized Pac was so deep, nice addition to the show!
Media displayed him as a thug with the gold teeth and the charges
This was actually a calm dope ass segment
As a lifetime bengals fan, I need more back stories from these guys
Congrats to mr Pat happy for u unc
Love the AJ/Pac stories. Theyre great. Well done boys.
The Saints in the 80’s and 90’s practice facilities were trailers.
In Metairie at that
Dome Patrol Operated out of Trailers? Damn.
AJ was there for the 2015 season. One of our better seasons as a franchise going 12-4. That the playoff game Burfict was out of control and Jeremy Hill fumbled in the red zone late in the fourth where we would have secured the win with a score. Out of all the playoff losses that one stung the most.
I went to the next game where the broncos beat the steelers. Prime AB still ate even though that defense was stout
I remember when Pac-Man joined the Bengals , I thought great just what we need another trouble maker and boy was I wrong. He was a great player for us and I got a ton of respect for him .
Whoever chose to have Pac-Man as a regular needs a promotion or some I fw bro
Pat and Pac have been close since their days together at WVU.
Just start watching this show this week, and I love it!!! Very authentic and real. Also love the topics!
Long time Bengals fan and insider and I gotta say Marvin Lewis would of been regarded as a great coach or better perception at least. He put up with way much more than he should have
Marvin Lewis was TRASH as a head coach. You don't go 0-7 in the playoffs without being a crappy coach. If Joe Gibbs was the coach during that time period they would have won at least four super bowls.
@@CRAZYHORSE19682003 is that you mike??
@@jharp08 LOL No.
ay man i work at a restaurant and my 10 hour shifts make me pay for meals smh
I never realized AJ hawk was a Bengal. I thought he'd spend his whole career as a packer
The last year in the nfl he signed with the bengals. He actually retired a bengal. But everyone associates him with the packers for obvious reasons.
now do franco harris and the seahawks....
@@XGhost937X he played 1 game as a Falcon before retiring
I don't remember who he went to but I remember him leaving the Packers because he sucked for us LOL
Cardinals still charge the players for lunch but on Tuesday they get 1 free refill on iced tea
I pay for lunch at my job….😢
I work for a giant construction company…. I’m gonna demand free lunches, and a weight room
Loved this. Great info
Pacman talkin bout Denver top class facilities and we still suck 🤣
Well the training camp is far asf from the stadium lol the training camp is in a much nicer area
I like when all the boys are involved like this
Making your players pay for food at the facility is crazy
Poor multi millionaires. They have it so rough.
@@DesignRhythm you didn’t pay for food in little league all the way to college. Nobody is asking for 3 meals a day. It doesn’t matter how much money they make. If you can’t take care of your team you don’t deserve one. What’s next they have to pay for travel, treatment, electricity and water at the facility just because their rich? You sound bitter
@@timgod87 you sound bitter
@TimGod lol, my parents sure as hell paid for my food growing up. In college, I had to pay for the meal plan. Food doesn't just magically appear. I have never had a job where they paid for lunch unless it was a special occasion or a client presentation. You can't be serious.
@TimGod "they're" rich. Not "their". Read a book. Go back to school. Stop simping for millionaire thugs who waste money on hideous jewelry & shoes.
Very nice change of pace on the show - miss ya Pat, enjoy the baby!
Love It Pat The Pat McAfee Show Bro
Fantastic topic selected and great insight from Pacman and AJ. Learnt a lot of how organizations in the NFL run their operations and how varied they are.
We need Vontez on the show
Wait till these guys hear almost every job requires you to provide your own lunch.
When it's just 1 team out of 32 that don't pay for food, it makes sense why the athletes would be upset
I would think cafeteria food and protein shakes would be more valuable than paying trainers
Raiders were at Oakland Coliseum. What an awful stadium, one lower level bathroom, old school urinals where you splash piss with the person standing next to you, old beat up seats and players said their locker rooms smelled like sewer and the ceiling was always leaking or falling apart. The only thing I miss about the Coliseum is the tailgating. Been to many stadiums and the tailgating at Oakland Coliseum was the best in my opinion. There was always like 10 food trucks, best tacos, pupusas and anything else.
You'd think that the teams would *not* want the players to have to pay for lunches, so they could use that as an excuse for a team nutritionist & trainers to customize/optimize the meals for the players needs to gain some small advantage. Hell, my *college* did that for all its sports (granted, D1, but no major teams other than hockey).
After the David Klingler and Akili Smith years we Bengals fans deserve this come up!
Too bad Pat wasn't here on this discussion, as a Colts fan, I'd love to hear his take on how things are ran in Indy
Indy is too retirement homish to me. They need younger culture in there
This year let’s hope they play a couple more games with those fire white and black jerseys
Doesn’t every corporation/company/real world job have their employees pay for lunch or provide options (restaurants/food joints) but not for free? While the employees aren’t getting paid anywhere near as much as professional athletes?
But most corporations/companies don't dictate which food you need to eat to do your job which with nutrition and health requirements NFL teams basically do. They have full teams designing meals specifically for them to have the right fuel for their job. At that point the special diet should be free because it's equivalent to a workers equipment bag and tools, it's a requirement and tool needed to succeed
Yes, I don't get the complaints either. Especially because the people complaining aren't saying that companies in general should pay for lunch but rather NFL players are for some reason a unique example exempt from having to pay for their own lunch.
I think the point was that 31 teams feed their guys and the Cardinals were the only ones charging.
@@aprilp660 Pumpkin, they’re paid millions, they can afford those on their own without a dent in their paycheck.
@@matth3708 nfl players paying for food when there on specific meal plans for work is the equivalent of getting a work from home job and having to buy the laptop
I drove past the stadium last week, there`s a big ass bubble out there....Is that an indoor practice facility?
AJ is a solid host
Some coodinators aren't meant to be head coaches. Guys like Vance Joseph, Vic Fangio and Nathaniel Hackket. But they are GREAT coordinators though.
“We gotta be here 12 hours and pay for lunch??” Welcome to real life PACMAN!!! 😂😂
Thanks pat for making changes for the Bengals Org !
Up until the mid 90s, the Buccaneers weight room was outside lol.
Joey B going to Katie Bs office like “yeah Kate, we need outlets in our lockers”
Katie be getting it done!
I've never worked for a company that paid for my lunch these are grown men the NFL is a business it's not a football camp for kids and you get a free lunch
Literally every team pays for their athletes lunch... Except the Cardinals.
@@b2g121795 millionaire athletes should be okay paying for their own lunch
Had Cedric Benson come out in front of me on the "main road" Aj mentions. I was coming to a full stop but Cedric threw some funny jukes just in case 😂
Denvry! Lol, man I need a job like that. Comp lunch and free massages.
College University Power 5 locker rooms are Palaces. Going from Alabama to Cincinnati must feel like going backwards in your standard of living but getting a bigger paycheck.
Excellent convo.. Good job to all
connor killed driving this convo.
7:30 Concussion Connor with the most CTE phrasing of a question, ever.
PAC is such a cool interesting new voice to the show.
Denver has a separate training facility ten miles away from the stadium, dove vaey, that I have driven past my whole life, and it is truly top tier.
Sorry. Ain't gonna feel bad for them having to pay for their lunch. I pay for my lunch while I'm at work 🤷
It’s crazy to think that colleges have much, much better facilities than professional teams! That’s wild to me!
It's probably the 7 kids with 7 different baby mamas, why the owners didn't want a Jerry Springer show in the stadium every game day.
Really?
Pacman is outstanding! Could most likely have his own show🤘
As a chiefs fan, Im glad you Bengals fans get your own Nick Wright hype man too. Rivalry aside, always rooted for Cincinnati to turn it around since the Pickens days. Love hearing Pacman on the show.
I love the games at Arrowhead. I've been to our games the last two years and I always have the best time with your fans. Social media fans are crazy but I love stadium fans! See ya New Years Eve!!!
This is hilarious 😂
AJ'S baby sitter comment was epic
“We were a player away from being really good.” Damn Pac, you didn’t have to Andy Dalton that way.
This is so disrespectful to the millions of Americans that work everyday and have to take their own lunch to work. We are talking about millionaires who are crying needing to pay for lunch. Every single traditional employee in the country pays for their own lunch and their own childcare. Nobody provided at work for them. This just shows how disconnected from reality some people can get!!!!
It's relative.. When every other team has daily catering, you buck up for lunch
I'm a Broncos lifer and remember pacman playing for my team, he had some really good games with us and then he just disappeared off the team. No idea what happened there. 😢
The Lions have finally put together that family type of organization in my opinion. I think that’s why this years draft surprised a lot of people, they took players they felt would fit in with the team. Even if they weren’t the so called best available at their position they were the what the team was looking for.
MCDC and the guys aren’t going to be biting they’re going to be eating kneecaps this year.
Oh my God I get paid billions of dollars a year and I got to pay for my own lunch
As firefighters, first responders and law enforcement we pay for our own groceries and lunch, give me a break divas.
As a steelers fan - we love to see this. Even though our facility is also outdated too lmao
Locker right next to Vontex Burfict.......OOOOOOOOOO
PacMan....Steeler country loves you man! Lol 🤟🏼🤟🏼
I'm impressed w PacMan..sharp guy,conversationalist..I had him pegged wrong
Pacman just made bad decisions. If I’m not mistaken, I think he got at least a 1200 or higher on the SAT was on the honor roll the whole time he was in college. He just made a LOT of dumb personal decisions. But he’s smart
Never knew some NFL facilities could be so bad considering they make so much money. Heck many big named college football team has state of the art facilities. I bet Joe Burrow invited the Cincinnati Bengals owners to see LSU facilities. They probably was like 🤯.
Pat We Need You On Friday Night Smackdown!
As a bengals fan it sucks to hear how bad it used to be, but awesome to see where we’re going. Also, would love to have AJ and Pac just go off and tell more stories of their time playing together.
Shout out the the audio guy who figured out how to mike Pac right.
Don't forget Ochocinco lived in the facilities for 2 years 😃
Guys making 10s of millions had to pay for lunch? Oh, the horror!
I love Pac-Man and AJs stories
Love listening to pac man talk.
Hell ya good point on it humiliating and holding some of the billion dollar business owners accountable
THESE are the stories that need to be aired more often.
Arizona was making players pay for their food? The Bidwells never change, they were know for being notoriously cheap in St Louis. Years later the Rams signed Aneas Williams and the story was that he was blown away that he didn’t have to pay for his equipment. One would think the bad press from that would move them to change their ways.
