@@CommunityNotesVerified Hey, the jabs don't always strike someone dead the first few seconds or even the first few months. I mean they still aren't checked to see that they _don't_ so they can. But y'know if we bet on that the way we bet n football, the wins have reduced.

As an Eagles fan, if Tim Patrick is out for the season again with an torn achilles then the Broncos can sign an WR in his place as the starting WR. If Tim Patrick did torn his Achilles, there goes another season for him and Russell Wilson's chances of making the playoffs in 2023 this season. @@andrewcroken7072 Broncos don't need a starting WR yet. They still have Sutton, Jeudy and their draft pick Mims. They will look for a quality backup. The reasons Aaron likes Hackett are the exact reasons why he makes a bad head coach.
Ong
Rodgers loves himself some yes-men who kiss his ass all day. Which is why he loathed the GB front office being willing to risk it on Jordan Love and not shining Rodgers shoes for him.
Eagles fans are here for you Brandon. We remember your support in the Super Bowl. Go Broncos!
To bad it didn’t work 😂
Goooo Chiefs !!
The soap opera that has become the NFL. I’m almost convinced a few of these guys get legitimate scripts for the week. The way they’ve managed to become relevant even in the off season is impressive.
Frrrrr😂
Sean Payton said the truth.
Being a great OC does not mean you'll be a good Head Coach.
Being a great guy does not mean you'll be a good Head Coach.
Nathaniel Hackett may be both those things BUT he was a TERRIBLE Head Coach!
-
As for Russ, he's another year older, he may not be great BUT that again will NOT exonerate Hackett!
-
Aaron Rodgers should concentrate on somehow getting enough wins to pip the Bills and/or Dolphins to a Play-Off spot......The Broncos aren't expecting anything more than a 3rd placed finish in the AFC West anyway let's face it, there's no expectation of getting more than 8 or 9 wins this season.
The Jets on the other hand are acting like they're going to romp away with 13/14 wins and top the AFC East just because they've got Rodgers who also may have hit the "cliff".
I have a theory that Russ is cursed. As soon as he left Seattle everything changed. Even the media is finally giving the Seahawks a tiny bit of respect for a change. I'm not even hating. I guess what I'm really trying to say is, I blame Ciara 😂
Ciara don't even respect Russ. Smh. She probably has him bent over at the Crib
You nailed it.
Sorry bro, he has the Super Bowl circled on his calendar, he needs to show up Patrick Starr and show him he can cook
@@DLO0622 yeah it's been circled on his calendar the last decade
I don't mind Coach Payton talking trash. Russ needs that confidence boost from the media absolutely raking him over the coals.
He planned that perfectly, all eyes on Coach Peyton now
When Jets and Broncos played in 20202 it was actually pretty spicy, Fangio ran right off the field after the game, they all barely shook hands, Greg Williams was trying to kill our players, it actually was a pretty rough watch.
Man, my thoughts are with Tim Patrick. What a terrible streak of bad luck for this guy. I personally think he is (was) our best WR. Guy is probably in mental and physcial hell right now.
As a Cardinals fan, I was always skeptical of Payton. When he took VJ from the Cards for D.C. I was even more glad we didn't give up a pick for him. I'm still skeptical, but I actually kind like how fired up he got. Might be just what the Broncos need.
Cardinals landed a better coach and staff in bringing in John Gannon and company. He’s a much better fit for that team and Kyler Murray than Payton would of been . Gannons going to be around a lot longer than a 60 year old Payton same age as BA when they hired him. Their new scheme fits KM strengths much better to, Gammon and Murray are going to be great together
Nothing Payton said was wrong. It was just kind of wrong how he said it. Russell Wilson was very poorly coached last year. His entourage having free run of the place was a stupid decision. Wilson is a big kid that needs instruction and needs to be coached a certain way. Hackett coached him like he did Rodgers and that just isn't going to float. The front office saw what was happening and just let it happen. I hate to say it, but I think that if Elway was still in the front office, 2022 would have been a hugely different season for the Broncos.
What part does Elway have with the team now?
I recommend you listen to PFF pod from last week called “the injury show”. They had a doc who has a background working with pro athletes particular in rehab. During the Q&A at the end, asked for some teams that do better/worse handling load and preventing injuries, he specifically pointed to the Broncos being a severe outlier with an excess amount of season ending (tendon) injuries. It’s around the 1:14 mark. The past decade, the Broncos had 26 ACL tears, the Saints have had 6.
it’s a damn shame
Nuff said

I feel Patrick gets 1 more year and wouldn't be surprised if hamler comes back off the waiver wire
Mimms was a bad pick when Michael Wilson was still on the board as Wilson is an absolute STUD as one of the 3-4 best WRs in the draft on talent alone. Broncos would of been better off drafting him, he’s going to be a monster in AZ outta the box
As a saints fan I wish all the best for SP, He's a hell of a coach. Just don't be surprised if you guys get the short end of the stick on penalties year in and year out. Sean also has a bad habit of getting a little cute in play calling.

That last Super Bowl win really cost you Broncos fans a lot lol. It never ends with the shenanigans.
Russell Wilson being absolved of all blame by his HC? I saw that movie in Seattle. It’s on the reason so many of his former teammates dislike him. Broncos better be careful.
100% truth
Uh…no! I’m from Seattle too, and unlike you I’ve been close to the team. I worked with the Seahawks’ main beat writer for years. Most of Russ’s teammates have liked him and still do. As for the ones who didn’t, most were just jealous of him.
Furthermore, doesn’t he have the right to grow as a human being? He obviously made some missteps, but he paid for them…more than he deserved to.
It’s time to turn the page. Only bona fide losers are interested in seeing celebrities get beaten into the ground.
Payton isn’t favoring Russ; he’s stating immutable facts. Last season was on the coach, not Russ.
People like YOU just don’t like the fact that a reputable coach is saying in the open what objective observers have said the whole time.
And another thing: if Pete Carroll and Russ could unwind the trade or go back n time and NOT do it, they both would.
Those two needed to have a serious conversation, and Pete was too aloof and too dumb to understand that Russ was getting to the end of his rope.
Don’t think for one second that the Seahawks are better off than they would have been with Russ at QB because they’re not.

Hey, look on the bright side: last off-season, Broncos fans were debating whether Russell Wilson was going to win a Super Bowl in his first year in Denver, or id it might take a year for Hackett and him to find their groove and start dominating the league. Jets fan speaking: After the Bills, Cowboys, Pats, and Chiefs, and the Eagles the next game, the week 5 matchup against the Broncos suddenly feels like a massive trap game.
Guys who run their mouths get what's coming to them eventually. The Broncos can't seem to learn this lesson, and it's getting worse with Payton and his run of goofy comments. His weak excuses and fake apology were even more laughable. What a joke of a hire already. The Broncos are firmly entrenched in dumpster fire mode.
Why should Sean Payton mince words? We all know Hackett was absolutely terrible. He shouldn't have apologized, he should just own up to what he said. Plus, I love me some good drama
Agreed. I think it's fine that he apologized, but what really bothered me is what Rodgers said. How can you call a man insecure for calling a terrible coach terrible? He was just saying how it was, not putting down Hackett or anything, just saying it how it was. Rodgers should have just stopped at it being uncalled for, because it kind of was, but calling Payton insecure for stating a fact is silly.
Agreed!! I like it when people don't play politics and say it like it is. Hackett was a hack as a head coach, and why are we acting like he wasn't? And this management cabal at Denver seems like a naive business enterprise. Yes it's on him to prove it, but he's not wrong.
