I've always been a big believer in presumption of innocence; trust the accusation far enough to wait for evidence before coming to judgment. However, these kind of accusations have gotten so bad that I automatically disbelieve them now. You have to come to me with absolute rock-solid evidence in order for me to consider that they might be true.

Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not. These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more. Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual. I went through a lengthy arbitration regarding a civil dispute with twitch and that case was resolved by a settlement. Let me be clear, it was not a criminal case against me and no criminal charges have ever been brought against me."
I was hoping we could talk about this last Sunday, but wasn't sure it was a topic we could discuss without causing a problem. This Sunday, lets hope we can tackle it!
Social media has shifted reality in an overwhelmingly negative way. I have like... NEGATIVE idea who this dude, is but it's a good illustration of that fact. True or untrue, it's over for him. If he stays, he's a villain and he should be cancelled. If he leaves, he must be guilty and he needs to be cancelled. It doesn't take much.
