- Here are the top 5 ways to deal with DDTs in Bloons Tower Defense 6. These moab class bloons can be difficult to pop, as they are super fast, are camouflaged, and have the lead and black bloon properties. But these towers/strategies should make them a bit easier. BTD6 is currently in version 42.0 so hopefully this video ages well.

Whenever I've got the free money and need some DDT detergent, I will ALWAYS try to get Icicle Impale into the strat. It's easily my favorite tower in the game, relatively cheap for a T5, deals great MOAB damage, and the slowdown is devastatingly effective when combined with towers like Glaive Lord, Tack Shooters, hell, anything that lives by AoE damage.

I'm kinda surprised Preemptive Strike wasn't brought up, it easily takes care of all DDTs (except the fortified ones on 99) along with providing some incredibly solid BAD damage. The issue with 99 can also be solved with a Sub Commander anyways.

Striker Jones’s passive anti black is massive. It’s the hardest property to remove by far and MIB is expensive

Bro just use Navarch of the Seas, it'll automatically hook in all the DDTs and it can pop leads and camos

I think you should have mention that Striker Jones also makes Black Bloons vulnerable to explosions.
Glue Storm can't de-lead all r95 DDTs anymore due to the uptime nerf. You now have to use it right when the 9th DDT is fully visible and it'll then last for the rest of the DDTs. You'll have to find some way to hold them off before using the ability.

All my games i was wondering: why my good MOV Killer upgraded cannons can't deal with spam of Ddt's (on ~95 level, i dont remember) even with Marker Upgrade on Rocketman, mov hurt upgrade on sniper, Glue for MOV upgrade on glue gunner, mov push on helicopter, and and finding camouflage on submarine and hant.

Step 1 get a preemptive strike
Step 2 by round 99 get a sub commander
Step 3 never see a ddt

Or is that just for full uptime?
They don’t stack but they only last for 40 attacks each and some towers attack faster than the alchemist can buff it
Acidic mixture dips have a max stack limit of 30, so with enough alchs you can maintain 100% uptime on it for your main damage dealer if it cant hit ddts
The stupidest thing is that I have every degree 100 paragon and the VTSG and icicle impale and glue storm and bloom solver and still lost to a disgusting duck tern
Glue storm ability duration got reduced 25% this update😭
Now we need Round 138 countermeasures

1. Corrosive glue storm
2. Rocket Storm ability
3. Spike Storm ability
4. Perma-Spike
5. Tack Zone (buffed with MIB, Primary Training, Berserker Brew)

I like to go with a 2-0-5 ice monkey, a 0-2-4 glue gunner and a 0-2-4 mortar hitting the same spot on the map. Then a 4-0-2 village wiuth 2-0-4 or 0-2-4 bomerang throwers just behind. Then a couple of alchemist buffs on that. I can do this reliably in chimps with Sauda as my hero.
What about my man ultra -juggernauts ?

Any strategy’s on beating lotus island on chimps? This is my like 20th attempt, and it’s not because I’m bad, I’ve got a few black borders without dying once. Something about that map just… is impossible for me

personnaly my favorite tower do deal with dtds completely is the 2-5-0 sub cuz im getting a first strike for round 100 anyways

Also the 0-5-2 and 0-4-2 buccaneer can shoot it down aswell as hook 'em in to stop them in their tracks
And now Glue Storm has been nerfed such that it lasts 5 seconds less, so may not be so effective against DDTs this time.
Thank God i bought the tier 5 glue gunner in btdb2 (does the tier 5 glue different in btd6 and btdb2? Cuz idk 😅)
It's not exactly the best because of how expensive it is but pre emptive is another guaranteed way to pop ddts, and bonus points for it also being good for the bad

Anyway, I usually use a Comanche Commander (named Croissant Commander) buffed by an MIB.
That'll do it. The com com works great with the glue storm because of how many projectiles those heli's shoot.
You should try it out :)

Do they work the same way in btd2? I tryed with sub 205 and it didn’t do as good?
205 sub doesn't have lead popping power, nor does it have the ability to see camo on its own. Also it's damage is... a little lacking tbh

I saw that in one of a btd2 youtubers video (best 5 ways to pop DDT). Also, I always pair the 205 sub with a 520 sub for camo revealing, also how come it not pop lead when it literally throws these rockets from the sky? You mean the darts don't?
@@Leen_AZ123 Oh, you're talking about the pre-emptive strike? That's a 250, not 205. I can't say I know enough about that one to answer your question properly.

@@tysonvienneau1830 obviously?????? A dps check would be round 80 or 100 but 63 literally requires pierce and ddts certainly dont need much dps
@@paulsucksatbtd ...Okay, I don't want to debate, but DPS is how much damage you can do in a period of time. You've got some fast rushes of tough enemies that can't be easily stalled, so you'll need high damage to take them out. I'm not just saying high burst damage, but any form of damage
