I'm racing for more than 30 years (on PC) and 2 weeks ago I had one of my best races. The 130 laps Class C iRacing NASCAR series in Atlanta. It was just pure focus, grind and enjoyment. I became 3rd after overtime, but the difference between me and the 1st was only .005s. So yeah, that was almost a photo finish between the first 3.
I had a photo finish fighting for first last year at iracing. Even tho I lost it it was so awesome and a moment I won’t forget so fast

Glad to see you having fun. A bit of advise that I see a lot of drivers doing. Try to stop using the gearing to slow the car down for the corners. Tracks like Zolder you lose a lot of time. Easy way to think of it is brakes you can control how much speed you lose gears will act more like a tugging on a rope. Especially if not matching the RPMs. Best example on this track would be the sweeping left after the long stretch. Use shift to 3 before entering and lift which really slows the car down. When you can brake drag a bit a lift in 4th then shift and RPM match into 3rd exiting for a much faster corner. Best of luck and hope to see you on the circuit soon.
This depends on your driving style and the balance of the car. You can use a more aggressive downshift to help rotate the car, or less aggressive to reduce over-rotation, which is useful in series like this where even brake bias isn't allowed to be adjusted. It's also a useful technique in open setup events, because you can adjust your downshifting on a corner-by-corner basis.

Where I found my love in iracing is the endurance races. They are more fun and exciting than any official race.

There is a screen in iracing when you click on Monitors where you can enter your triple monitor info, what do you have yours at? Thanks man keep it up!

Love your series i watched them all ! But you can improve your pace by so many things. I am a racing driver in a cup series and drove a lot of times @ zolder you are ether entering to late or to soon in those corners. Also you are looking to much of the cars behind that are chasing you. Again love the series just trying to help.

I've been on iRacing since August and I'm completely hooked. Yes it is expensive, but this is a hobby and you find the value in the enjoyment.

I wouldn't say there is an exact amount of practice. It really depends on a per-individual basis. Practice until you feel confident pushing hard around the track and putting in consistent lap times.

for gt3 stuff i normally will just hop in a race session and try and follow the fast people.
amother thing that can help is watching someone who is fast and look for where they brake or their brake markers.
ACC LFM when? Seriously, it would be awesome to see! I love the commentary as well, haven't seen that done before and whoever you got to do it does an amazing job, really adds to the video overall.
Great video. 100% the other drivers fault. In case it helps, it looked like you were always giving at least a cars width on exit and sometimes you'd turn in early too, which means you were slower than you needed to be in the corners - it looked like that's where they were gaining time on you. Respectable racing though, you rarely see two cars survive side by side in the chicanes at Zolder.

I don't know too much about the most cost-effective ways to get into iRacing. That being said, I know there are some great videos from other creators talking about that exact subject if you want to learn more!
