This movie captured my soul and imagination and set me on my journey towards eventually walking the Camino. 500 miles of meeting amazing people, making new friends, hearing their stories, gathering my Camino family. My life is forever changed because of the introspection and wisdom gained during those 40 days. I don’t know if there is a Camino in your future but it may be calling you like it has called millions of others for centuries. My experience tells me if you hear the call it is best to make it happen. It may be the highest and best for your soul. Buen Camino my Camigos.
"when I was young I was too busy, now that I'm old I am too tired" A bit weird but that's the line that stayed with me after watching the movie. Inspired me to take risk and live life out of comfort zone and be not too busy for adventures. Happy life everyone 😊
My most favorite movie, ever. I hiked the Appalachian Trail and this movie resonated deeply with me: the journey, the family you find along the way, the challenges you overcome and the truths you find in your heart.❤
Back about thirty years ago I hitchhiked across Canada and back again. I watched this movie last night and it brought that whole experience back to me again. It was a solid movie, well worth watching. Thoughtful and charming.
I got that call 4 weeks ago, actually a visit by two uniformed policemen. My only child. A part of me is gone and I don't think I'll ever be happy again.
I'm sorry for your loss. But you must move one. Your child is looking at you from the stars & really wishes your happiness, so learn from this experience & stay strong. I would bet this was what your child would want for you as well. Once again, sorry for your loss.
Im sorry for your loss. I cant imagine the feeling. I hope everything goin for the better for you and your family. You are a good parent and he must be proud of you. Be strong! Love from Indonesia
I'm so sorry. Life is so weird with our capacity to love and the inevitability of losing a loved one. I don't think you can move on from losing a child. But i think you can still live a life and your trauma will end up in a way helping others. I want to give you a big hug. I chose not to have kids as i feared i would worry about them. But it was a silly selfish reason. I'm sending you love
I met a woman on day three of the Camino who had gotten that call. She was walking to help her come to terms with her crushing loss My heart breaks for you. The Camino gives you time to work it out. To listen to your soul and find the path forward.
@@drummist1000 Ummm, it is a movie not real life. Characters are exaggerated and stereotyped for story's sake. 😄 I've walked the Camino, three different routes, five times. Met so many different and diverse people on it. Some likeable and some not, IMO of course. I figured it's just all part of the experience as was the weather, the albergues, the food etc. I never approached it with rose colored glasses. I certainly never saw this movie as a realistic portrayal of walking the Camino. That'd be like watching the movie Titanic for a tutorial before going on a cruise. 😆

This is maybe the greatest movie ever made. Touches my soul in a way no other does. Thank you E.E.

They said people interested in the movie because of the trail, idk anything about the trail. I just enjoy the journey, I love this movie so much.

When I go there .they will find me
Hope I don’t bump into anybody with martin sheens personality while doing the Camino this May.
Why??
@ he’s so very grumpy and unapproachable in the movie. And as it turns out, everyone I met on the Camino was nothing like him. What a relief
