I'm happy that detective Fulbright wasn't a evil person and actually it's the imposter because detective Fulbright seems like a very funny character. R.I.P Detective Fulbright.
Steve Ford perhaps fulbright got killed before the cosmic turnabout so the fulbright we knew was actually fulbright?
It's likely the Fulbright we knew acted exactly like the real Bobby Fulbright in every way, shape, and form.
+김지웅 (Spyfox) fulbright was killed a year ago, so we didn't have the chance to meet him r-r

So ... Courtroom Ranger?
Nikitaw99 Late reply, but Edgeworth wears somewhat maroon nowadays.

No one is gonna comment on how, for the first time I think EVER, the Judge ACTUALLY STOOD UP FOR THE DEFENSE ON A MATTER?
What about how the ever first time in the whole of courtroom history (I think...) when a prosecuter is fully helping the defense in any way they can?
Laine thegamer Actually, that would be the very first Ace Attorney game, when Edgeworth takes full responsibility for fraud and forging evidence only so Wright could call in Damon Gant and have him arrested. If you want a period when Edgeworth was a good guy, then in Justice for All where he helps Wright to keep the trial going so Matt Engarde would confess out of fear.
ThatGuyfromBrazil And Apollo Justice, However Klavier didn't help in an obvious way, he hinted his way to helping Apollo, for almost every question he'd give a hint with it
- Edgeworth teaming with Phoenix against Dee Vasquez
- Edgeworth teaming with Phoenix against Damon Gant
- Edgeworth and Franziska teaming with Phoenix against Matt Engarde
- Godot teaming with Phoenix against Dahlia Hawthorne
- Klavier teaming with Apollo against Kristoph Gavin
- Shi-long Lang teaming with Edgeworth against Shi-nah and Quercus Alba
- Everyone teaming with Edgeworth against Souta Satoshiro
- Blackquill teaming with Athena against Aristotle Means
- Blackquill and Edgeworth teaming with entire defense against the Phantom
Prosecutors aren't that evil. Even when they realize the truth and who is the true culprit they will do all they can to get justice served

I get the feeling that the real Fulbright was lovable and a really good guy, just as the Phantom impression of him shows....Which makes Bobby's death more heartbreaking. I hope Capcom will make a flashback case of before his death so we can see what he really was like when he was alive.
I know, right?
We can use the time travel thing from Apollo Justice
Or maybe Blackquill reminiscing on his first case with Fulbright, which would have been the real one
ShonenJump121 Which proven to be just a ruse and debunked in that case.

Fulbright used teleport! But it failed since blackquill used mean look....
+PhoenixFlameGames The move failed ! You can't teleport out of battle !
Jackson Yuan Oh yeah XD forgot about that
He's a professional spy, so I think he could still escape in front of everyone without getting caught or seen again. Zak Gramarye did it, after all. I personally find more derpy that it only took a *Hold it!* to stop him.
+Gabo2oo The thing is, he's a magician and of course, he is always armed with tricks to surprise his audience.
The phantom IMO, is a different case. He might be an international spy, but he is a lone wolf playing mind games. I dont see how he could have escaped.
I just realized this now but,
Whenever you see Fulbright get angry he raises his fist in the air.
It shows mark on the back of his wrist where the stab mark should be. DAMN and it was in front of us all this time. Just like Von karma and the bullet
that's just a vein i think, but good eye!
its a vein
Pretty sure that's a vein 😅
Not-Fool-Bright: "Die, Simon Blackquill!"
Just how big of a threat Blackquill is. There are probably numerous, armed officers around, and the only one the Phantom feels he has to kill in order to escape is Simon. Unarmed, except for his "sword"/hand slash. :)
I bet this is what the Phantom thought 7 years ago when he finished the murder and the trial is done

Do you think the phantom would've had black psyche locks? Cause he subconsciously didn't even know his own identity? Idk I feel like if Kristoph had black psyche locks for the secret he had, the phantom would most definitely have them too.
Unlike kristoph he can hide everything including things deep in his heart.
I think he's fully aware about not knowing his own identity. He does use that as one of his tools, after all.

41:10 I love the fact that Edgeworth said "impostOr" and Phoenix had to tjink about it before understanding: "impostEr!
"No ordinary person..would have been fearless enough to attempt."
What, taking a flying leap 25 feet onto a ladder from 50 feet in the air from something that's moving? How about Jackie Chan? He calls that Tuesday.
he's not ordinary enough
You forgot that Jackie did a similar stunt with a broken foot. Fake Bright get on Jackie's level. What a loser, lol.
Jackie Chan would fit in very well in the Ace Attorney universe 😂
I just realized. Each time, Blackquill slams on his desk with his bird (hawk?) on his shoulder. The bird flips out, shocked by the loud noise. Details man. Details.
I realized the same from this trial as well lmao
"An under-the-cover investigator...? That sounds less than wholesome to me..." ~Udgey
Phantom: I have no soul!
Earring: I'm about to end this man's entire existence.
Other whitnesses when they get caught: Start panicking or make exagerrated expressions
Bobby when he gets caught: Makes a neutral face
He locks in
That breakdown the Phantom had was almost at a horror level, I love it.
Rewatching this case year after I realized something that makes Phantom's breakdown even darker and scarier. Look how many masks he had ready to go. If his false identity was compromised, he planned to abandon it and kill and impersonate someone else, including Hugh, Aura and _Phoenix_ .
Now that's what I call nightmare fuel.
“You wear a mask for so long, you forget who you were beneath it.” - Alan Moore
I still wonder if Phantom not feeling his bare feet in Case 2 is just an act or a whole Fulbright costume
I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Filtch was able to take his shoes was because the Phantom cut off his own feet long ago so he could wear any size of shoe by just having different prosthetic feet... footprints ARE identifying, after all, and give away true height and weight under close analysis. If the Phantom's feet are indeed fake, he probably wouldn'tve felt Filtch take his shoes off nor realized he was walking "barefoot"
Oh my god... when Fool Bright used his grappling hook to get away, you can see his shoes. They look so funny on him.
When is that?
Nevermind, it's 24:33.
Yup. Although his shoes are shown earlier when Filch steals them, but.. actually ON him.. awww..

41:35 Hold on, if Blackquill’s slashes are sharp enough to cut through metal glasses and a mask, then Athena, Apollo, and Phoenix should have died from finger slash to the head by now.
When the judge said “fine Japanese steel”, he wasn’t joking.
They’re also strong enough to cut through beads.
At least he just gave them a new haircut
"Your true face... What kind of... face is it? I wonder... The face under the mask... Is that... your true face?"

Surely the amount of contempt Phantom caused in the courtoom and even tearing apart evidence Infront of the judge should be an automatic guilty verdict of SOME variety
One of my favorite things about the breakdown is that Phantom is looking at the moon when he gets shot. It's a reference to the moon rock that has his blood.

Okay but seeing Phantom Fulbright's face drop as he gaslights Blackquil into trusting him legit scared me for a sec.
Seriously though, there should be an ace attorney game for Athena Cykes.
What about prosecutors like Simon?
I feel like they could make a game for the Switch with a lot more cases. Each member of the Wright Anything Agency have a case facing against each prosecutor: Edgeworth, Franziska, Godot (if possible), Klavier, Blackquill and Nahyuta. At the same time, each prosecutor will win a case like the Matt Engarde case. The Ace Attorney Trilogy as a whole has 14 cases so it's quite possible.
Yes I agree
@@Aego384 Godot is possible to have his own game tbh if you look closely
To be perfectly honest, Dual Destinies is really just Athena Cykes Ace Attorney. The entire game is centered around her story after all and she is part of every case in the game.

+Neon Skylite I mean, he was arrested so it makes sense he would retire.
We need an Ace Detective prequel that has us play as Gumshoe and the final case is Bobby's murder
I see that Blackquil has learned how to give extremely cold stares like Edgeworth... Not bad at all, just a lot less effective than the original.

I know it's random, but can someone explain to me why did the Phantom kill Athena's mom again?
@@c.t.a.5983
Basically, the phantom killed Athena's mom because...
1. She was investigating the phantom and the phantom had to hide his identity at all costs.
2. Because she found out through the recording of the phantom that the phantom has no emotion. This was evidence to uncover his identity and was therefore a huge blow to his privacy.

he did but he doesn't know who he is anymore
His name is jeff

Fucking. Fool Bright. I seriously never saw it coming. The part with the totally unresponsive Mood Matrix was pretty creepy.
The main villian was extremely well-written, IMO. Someone with no identity, no emotion, no feelings whatsoever (hence the "phantom" namesake) who impersonates people for so long he completely forgot who he really is (causing so much pain and horror for so many in 7 long years). Then at the end, what brought him down was his own realization that deep inside, he really had a face, a character and an identity

Why the hell does Phoenix say that he's responsible for the dark age of the law? He was framed by Gavin, for god's sake.
Like sure, he was a symbol of belief and justice for lots of people, and seeing this symbol crash and burn would shatter people's trust. But that wasn't him who made other lawyers use forgery, it wasn't him who taught law students that "the end justifies the means" etc. Same goes to Blackquill: we already had, like, 4 prosecutors who were murderers - von Karma, Godot, Portsman and Debeste, not to mention other corrupt officials like Gant. How come that *he* is the root of all evil, huh?
Not that I'm really complaining. I liked all that near-philosophical stuff about dark age of the law. It's just... a bit unfair.
You raise a good point. They needed the plot though, you know. Or else we wouldn’t get these games.
That because mass media you know. They all trust in phoenix who defeat von kamar or gant made people trust about him but after that case people start doubt about court and after that Ur1 is most impact to mass media because it in space station and before HAT 1 and this why reason this case start the dark age of the law
No one say Simon is root of evil.
