Rudy, in case you are reading this: I would suggest to use for the tree requirement rather ">= 5" instead of ">4". Some players will see the "4" and just think about needing 4 trees (without adding 1). Hence, the ">=" may save players a few discussions :)
Cool gameplay and theme. Nice looking board. This game may be expanded into zilion directions with expansions. Thank you Radho for introducting this one to us. Take care.
36:50 Yay, I can correct Paulo for the first time :D
Well, it's just a small thing but still: In your correction you've written "...he buys only 12 cubes...". No he buys only 2. I assume the 1 somehow sneaked in your comment.
indeed a typo... thank you :)
6:10 Reminds me of Walnut Grove, but yeah, not too common for rondels.
As for Stone vs Concrete: The illustration shows bricks, not stone, which are still widely used in Europe and translate to the same word in many Germanic languages. So maybe that's just a translation issue. Calling it concrete would pretty much double up with steel beams, wouldn't it?
could be! though if they were brick, i'd expect them to be stereotypically red cubes.
the designer did contact me after i'd filmed this a few months ago and asked a few questions about english phraseology and i was happy to give him some feedback
How prototype is the art? Those are some rough looking people cards.
they're certainly not vincent dutrait level. we ultimately chose to look at the game as if it's set in a dr suess book, and then the look of the game worked for us :)
Nice, that's a good idea. @@rahdo
The mechanisms look great, and it's a good theme.
