I visited Motegi about 22 years ago (sorry before phone cameras) I have old DV film but haven't converted it to digital yet. And it was really hard to get to, we had to travel on diesel trains through hours of farm land. The other people on the train were bemused by how odd we looked:) But when we got there it was closed but the Director understood I was a huge Honda fan and opened the whole place just for us!! I drove an Integra Type R around the circuit, saw the Honda museum and were even allowed to drive the go-cart track!
When you're looking for something to watch on RUclips when you're in bed comfy as hell and can't find anything to watch... Out of nowhere noriyaro upload. Sick.
its because they are on a banked race track. even on the straits its banked and when you spin tires, gravity does what it does best....make things go down hill.
*Seeing a Roadmaster in Japan honestly made me laugh. I had one in highschool and got laughed at. But yet they're being raced out there! Would be so cool seeing one drift though LOL.*
Kanjozoku inside looks would be amazing if it's possible, but I appreciate whatever you have to bring to the table as I realize you work hard for these channels! Have a good one seeya next time! :)
Best car culture videos anywhere on the net hands down, Japanese or otherwise. You have to love how the Japanese seem to embrace variety at almost every car meet you see.
Some longer one on one interviews with car owners would be pretty could. Like what kind of car they have, specs, how they maintain it, how their hobby fits in with their daily life etc. Daily drivers or people who aren't car enthusiasts. It'd be nice to see the average joe's take on cars in Japan. Nighttime Touge style drifting would be pretty sick too.
Hi Alexi. I would love to see you take a trip to the auctions one day and give us a taste of the weird and wonderful things that go through and just a general feel for the whole process. Keep up the great work
Seeing japanese drag racing is still on my bucket list. I remember way back in the early 2000's watching videos on some motoring site about 9 second skylines drag racing on Sendai
How I enjoy your videos: No unrealistic video shot with clickbait capitation in the shot; No "you've got to watch this video headshot"; No exclamation mark at the end of the subtitle; No caps lock title; No clickbait title, nor clickbait subtitle. I don't know how I have ever gotten to this channel, other than, it's just so normal interesting & weird but honest content. -How I enjoy your videos- How I Love watching your videos!
I am so happy that I get to see actual 2018 footage of what's happening there regarding drag events. I can't find enough content from Japanese drag cars and am especially happy you decided to upload a video! Keep it up, we want more!!!!!!!!
Zac Johnson By filming illegal stuff he could get the people in the video in trouble. The Bozo video that he recently posted got some negative media attention in Japan actually.
Glad to see Zero-Yon is still very much alive! Too bad it's lacking 100 more M. Haha! I miss seeing drag monsters from Japan. Awesome feature man! Very much enjoyed! Hope to see more drag racing action and or monsters in the future!
loved this video :) i dont know what exactly I'd like you to cover besides the usual drift/race events, but this drag one was awesome, and I love the variety! For example the Jimny episode was amazing. Also really enjoy the more casual vids like mail time, would love to see more of that!
So cool to see the camaro and the silverado line up 12:29 , basically if my cars raced each other lol. Did I see a GMC typhoon/cyclone too 9:10 ? That sora looked cool.
Man...From growing up here in the states and practically only knowing drag racing due to its popularity, this is so interesting and unique to see. I would LOVE to visit Motegi someday to witness this. The funny thing is im sure 99% of those guys racing would die to come here and watch some american muscle get down!
It would be unreal to see some workshop tours. Thats if you can do that sort of thing. Some of this edit reminded me of the old HPI dvds and vids. thanks
12:30 What is that metal thing under the car right beside the wheel? Also, you should cover a rally event (not rallysprint but a proper forest stage rally).
Man awesome video. Would love to see more. This is what I love about Japanese car culture doesn't matter what you bring your accepted. It's about the love for cars. A lot of cars I grew up wanting.
When I was in Japan last year, I was walking to Top Secret and came across a body shop called DMC if I remember correctly. And they had a 50s Mazda there, all custom flooring and everything ready for drag racing, after talking to the owner he mentioned he had a Suzuki cappuccino engine in it and was going to be a fully built drag car. I don't know if it was there at this event though.
I need more on that blackline soarer one of my favorite soarers in japan ,also you havent really covered the mysterious wangan nights but i can understand the difficulties in filming that as a episode, thanks noriyaro.
Wow so cool to see a guy in japan that loves American cars. Then we have a bunch of ppl here in the states that love Japanese cars, and those old skylines were amazing!
Very nice coverage of drag racing in Japan. I wish it were 400m, however. I miss the days there when drag racing was more prevalent. Thank you for sharing the coverage.
Alexi that was a very refreshing video I really enjoyed thanks for showing a different side of the Japanese automotive culture. It’s nice to see the Japanese embrace domestic car culture! Car community has no boundaries! Can’t for for the next one 🤘🏼
*Hopefully you'll be able to attend more drag events! I especially loved watching the Garage Saurus cars, there's just something so entertaining about watching those RH-9 cars struggle for traction, even with AWD. Now to go scour RUclips for old Japanese drag racing and Wangan videos..*
Tbh, I like all the jspec stuff you put out. I wouldn't mind more of these drag event videos so I can really get a feel for how they do it. I know American drag racing pretty well but I know nothing ab9ut Japanese style drags. Keep up the awesome content man!
Anytime you can make content about owners and their American cars that'd be awesome. It'd be interesting to see why some of the enthusiasts over there enjoy American cars. Here in the US, JDM stuff has that cool, illusive, rare allure to it, and although I'm sure that's the case for them, I find it fascinating that folks in Japan love cars like Camaros, Mopars, Mustangs, Lowriders, or Hot Rods, I'd love to hear more about it.
*That was a buick roadmaster not a chevy caprice. Same platform though i know a roadmaster when i see one*
Shows how much I know. Thanks for the correction.
The caprice was also offered in a wagon! Not sure about a woody though.
this. holy moly who brings a ROADMASTER to japan lol.
MC Malicious Gravy my old neighbor has one here in new zealand, looks like they got around
I've seen a matte black Caprice Wagon in Berlin, Germany as well.

Punchy LightBeer you should definitely convert it, most photography shops do tape to digital conversion. Let us know 'cause I'm really curious!!

Mac Doodles ....Ok, I guess two decades of being too lazy is long enough.
Would be awesome if you could post them here!
When you're looking for something to watch on RUclips when you're in bed comfy as hell and can't find anything to watch... Out of nowhere noriyaro upload. Sick.
It's so good to see a drag event happening here in Japan. 珍しい!
Yeah dragged out vans and Japanese corvettes are cool, but the 90's chevy trucks are awesome and to see them being run in Japan made my day.
Yeah, that 454 SS was nice. I also found the hood of the Corvette amusing
@@seantaylor2683 The noise the blown camaro made my day
The variety of cars there is awesome
ArseneZealot their laws about the cars are awesome
its a small country compared to
Seeing blown Camaros in Japan makes my heart sing.

Blown that flowed up or blown that is heavily modified??
@@happythingswithjohn4203 blown as in equipped with a blower...
I wanna see another bosozoku video but with owner interviews and a walk around look and commentary of their cars. Great video, Keep it up!
STEEZBUTTER yeah same thing here 👌
What an excellent video! The sights and sounds were incredible and your narration was great. Can't thank you enough for posting this!

*me: :(*
Backyard Built we all know it’s gonna be forever until there’s a next time :(
if you watch his twitch he say he's gonna upload one every week
That ending tho
Don't cry because it's over; Smile because it happened
Why you say that?
Just woke up, Noriyaro uploaded 22min ago, perfect breakfast entertainment.
Shizukage sameeee
In Japan the people need to stop the cars from going sideways and drifting even when they aren't going anywhere. Sasuga, drift nation.
its because they are on a banked race track. even on the straits its banked and when you spin tires, gravity does what it does best....make things go down hill.
Would love to see more of the American muscle car seen over there, see there take and style on it!
*Seeing a Roadmaster in Japan honestly made me laugh. I had one in highschool and got laughed at. But yet they're being raced out there! Would be so cool seeing one drift though LOL.*
Awesome event. Hopefully you can cover more events like this to show the variety in Japan. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Kanjozoku inside looks would be amazing if it's possible, but I appreciate whatever you have to bring to the table as I realize you work hard for these channels! Have a good one seeya next time! :)
Also loved the mailtime videos you've done!
*Check out The Chronicles/Stickydiljoe's channel, if you want inside looks at the Kanjo racers/teams.*

man, i miss seeing your beercan skyline, when?

Big blocks to Ta-22, oh yeah feeling the sincerity. Thanks Noriyaro, we all love your work.
Seeing japanese drag racing is still on my bucket list. I remember way back in the early 2000's watching videos on some motoring site about 9 second skylines drag racing on Sendai

Really cool to see all these sides to Japan, never fails to impress me.
Love seeing new things not covered by other channels, keep it up Alexi
thank you for sharing with everyone the uniqueness of japan-style drag racing, interesting perspective :)
Ive only been to 3 drag race events before. And man I love seeing all the different cars with crazy ass builds.
Thank you for another awesome video Alexi! noriyaro number one!

I admit, I put "Corvette" in the title so more Americans would watch it.
Spoiler: the Corvette won the race
tfw Noriyaro won't shill his merch but keeps wearing cool JDM exclusive Noriyaro merch in his streams...
Those Z31s were so awesome! Epic looking 80s cars. That style!
Talk about some sweet rides! Love the 1st gen skylines!!!
I am so happy that I get to see actual 2018 footage of what's happening there regarding drag events. I can't find enough content from Japanese drag cars and am especially happy you decided to upload a video! Keep it up, we want more!!!!!!!!
i still want that cooking stream
This was an amazing coverage brother. It's amazing to me to see some cars that belong in museum collections on track, tearing it up. Thank you
finally some real noriyaro action feels like years
I love how your showing all the different car events and shows they have in japan... Love your channel hope one day i can make it to japan....
Hit up some illegal events, intial d and wangan midnight style lol. I think you have covered everything mate, thumbs up from me.
I was just going to say something along these lines
why? he isn't doing anything illegal by going there, some of us love that culture, it's Japan mate it's got nothing to do with your laws.
Zac Johnson By filming illegal stuff he could get the people in the video in trouble. The Bozo video that he recently posted got some negative media attention in Japan actually.
NotParralol There’s always censoring out faces & plates?
He's mentioned the illegal stuff before a few times in past videos and said he wouldn't do it that's why i brought it up again lol.
noriyaro, i m following you since the begining and you still giving more the envy to go travel this country
So sick!! We have a similar event here in the states. Import vs. Domestic and it's a huge event! Great vid!
What a variety man,American,Japanese,All!
Greets from Argentina 👌
Japan delivers in everything like seriously no matter what it is! They are awesome!
I hereby certify this as containing official Quality Rotary Content™
The 454 SS looked awesome, and so did everything else. The early fairladies were screaming!

Its so awesome to see true Japanese street cars racing the 1/4 like that. Something you can't see here in the states.
@9:10 was that a GMC Syclone in the bottom left corner for a split second before the scene cuts?
its still import vs domestic but its switched up this time
Man awesome video. Would love to see more. This is what I love about Japanese car culture doesn't matter what you bring your accepted. It's about the love for cars. A lot of cars I grew up wanting.

I love a good old American V8 but the sound of a properly done GTR going down the track is an eargasm.
I need more on that blackline soarer one of my favorite soarers in japan ,also you havent really covered the mysterious wangan nights but i can understand the difficulties in filming that as a episode, thanks noriyaro.
What were the front wheels on the hakosuka at 4:33?
And what engine in the green Fairlady in the following clip as well?
It was a pleasure to watch this
some amazing cars there.a fantastic event .thanks Alexi
have you ever thought about just taking a video from twitch and uploading it to youtube? some of us in the states only seldomly catchs a twich stream
You know it's a great day when Noriyaro uploads. :D

Awe yeah another amazing video and now over 300k subscribers. Nice work.
I'd love to see some Alpina-related stuff on the channel! I've noticed that there's a ton of those in Japan.
Alexi that was a very refreshing video I really enjoyed thanks for showing a different side of the Japanese automotive culture. It’s nice to see the Japanese embrace domestic car culture! Car community has no boundaries! Can’t for for the next one 🤘🏼

I’d love to see more motorcycle videos, your last bike vid was fantastic!
Another great video. I'm planning on going to Japan pretty soon. I hope to go to a meet of some sort. Crossing my fingers!
Rally in Japan? I haven't seen anything like that at all. I think the closest we got to that is seeing Jimnys roll over xD
Anytime you can make content about owners and their American cars that'd be awesome. It'd be interesting to see why some of the enthusiasts over there enjoy American cars.
