At 60 years old and after losing 90 pounds I have a lot of lose skin . Mostly my face and arms. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I go to the beach with my grandkids. My daughter said the other day. Mum you are a different person . So much more confidence, engaging with the grandchildren. I am having fun 🎉. Loving my new body. ❤
Thank you. We lose facial fat with age, regardless of weight loss. This person may find that gaining weight back won’t help as much as they believe it will. Honestly, with the reduction of inflammation I found that people looked better on GLP1, reduced eye bags and tired/thin looking skin. The link between insulin resistance/type 2 and inflammation is well established at this point. With my own experience my face looked thinner almost immediately due to reduction of inflammation. Even with a few more ‘noticeable’ wrinkles, I feel I look amazing with healthier looking skin. I will take wrinkles and loose skin for health any day.
I'm grateful to be healthy. That is the main goal
So far I have lost 122.2 lbs I have wrinkly skin on my stomach, arms, neck and thighs and my face is definitely a whole lot more skinnier than it used to be. and I am just fine with all of that because I am so much more healthier and happier than I have ever been!!! And for me personally it doesn’t matter if I look older as long as I’m a more healthier person!! My SW-283.5 My CW-161.3 My GW-140
BRAVO!🙌🏽
@@user-dh2yh9bx5lTHANK YOU SO VERY MUCH 🤗💕!!!
I am with you. Healthy and Quality of life is more important to me. I am 79. I have lots I want to do.
Kevin has Dogzempic face! 🐶 🤣 🤪 He’s so cute!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love Kevin so much! I'm always hoping he'll pop into a video.
Can absolutely confirm about the dog face confo having a cavalier ❤
It IS WELL WORTH IT!!! I am grateful for my health! My chance to turn an eye is not a bad plus either ! I want to exercise. I haven’t weighed this weight since I went in the Army at 18. Thanks to God for making obesity important!!!
Thanks Ali and Kevin❤❤⏮⏪◀️🐶😎
❤Oh my gosh! Im in love with Kevin!❤
I love that you addressed this issue. I definitely have loose skin under my chin/neck, which I am not that fond of, but like you said, the trade off of health reminds me that loose skin is the least of my worries. I just have to give myself grace and continue on my journey 😊
Iml loving the Kevin appearances and jokes in the videos! (Careful, or he may need his own RUclips channel)! LOL!
Thanks for this great video. I'm so grateful for my improving health and return of physical abilities that an older looking face is not a problem.
I'm getting the turkey neck just in time for Thanksgiving! I would not trade it for the weight back, my health is sooo much better, lower a1c and blood pressure, hoping to get off of those, also I am an esthetician so the young obsession is so wild... I actually think I am looking younger with the weight loss in my face(I embrace my illusion, lol),hello cheekbones!!Ali, your skin has been glowing and you exude youth because of your playfulness, thanks for this video!!
Helpful video. Thanks, Ali.
That woman you mentioned makes me think of the people who are on this med primarily to “look better”. Because society thinks fat people are ugly. But sadly society thinks older people are ugly too, so you just can’t win. And we can’t stop aging. If you only want to look good, yes you will look good (ie become thin with this med) but could have loose skin many places, more wrinkles and less hair. As you work to improve your relationship with food, please also improve your relationship with your body. Your body is the only one who has ever been there for you your whole life. Your body has kept you alive despite how badly you took care of it and berated it. Respect your body. And don’t let our shit society determine your beauty
I see it with all the before/after photos on FB groups. Younger women who lose weight tend to look younger after losing weight, older women who lose weight tend to look older than they did before losing weight. It's just a matter of fact. Not good, not bad, it's just a fact. I am older so I can see that my thinning face is showing more wrinkles and my neck is not as firm as it was. I accept that because I want to feel better as I get thinner. I'm okay with looking older as long as I am healthier, moving with more grace and able to have all the energy I need to enjoy my life however I wish.
I will take having Mounjaro face over having hot flashes and night sweats from high blood glucose levels. I also love that I know longer wake up with a sore back, and my knees no longer crack when I stand up or sit down.
Eye opening!! Thanks :)
I look at the loose skin and i think of it as evidence of my hard work.
I totally struggle with this. And this really resonated with me. I do feel that I look much older after losing 40 pounds but I’m also not one to spend the money on cosmetic procedures because I am afraid and I can’t afford it. My face bothers me more than the loose skin on the rest of my body. But I remind myself that I am healthier as a result, and definitely do not intend to purposely put the weight back on.
@@Valley_Gal keep the faith!!!
@@user-dh2yh9bx5l thank you for the encouragement
Hi Alli
Kevin’s favorite band? Obviously Devo.
Why? ‘Cuz they “WHIPPET GOOD!” 😆 🐕
How did you know?!?! 😂
@Ali LOL. 😆
Y’know… if some future vid ended with like 10 seconds of Kevin just staring into the camera while listening to that song… **chef’s kiss.** 😏 🎶 🐕
😂😂
love your face🤩😍
Another brilliant video! Tretinoin cream from dermatica is amazing for wrinkles and anti aging. It produces collagen production and isn’t invasive.
Kevin is hilarious, I’m a whippet mum too and my girl thinks nothing of walking over me and standing on my hair 😂.
I’m 70 and had hoped that if I got to where I was at 35 I would look 40. Obviously that’s a fantasy! However I’m happy to see more of the bone structure of my face. I look more expressive and intelligent. Morbidly obese faces look babyish but in a grotesque way (my opinion).
Sign me up!!!!Thanks Ali!
Kevin is perfect😂❤
Yep.Confirmed, my 7.5mg is going to be 2 weeks late,if I am lucky.
Bad news for the lady you talked about - once you lose fat from your face, you'll not get it back by gaining weight. You will everywhere else - yes, but lose skin on your face and wrinkles will stay with you. And I'm talking from experience. Many attempts of losing weight and gaining most of it back (l managed to never go back to the point where I started) and early menopause (at 33) means there's hardly any fat on my skin. So I don't care about ozempic/mounjaro face - I see it in the mirror every day. And that's fine. My life is so much more than a wrinkly face.
I lost 100 pounds 5 years out. Getting a facelift next month!
Poor Kevin haha😂too cute
Yeah, I rather be healthy.
I can see changes when I look in the mirror but when I look at my body directly it looks the same so I then convince myself that the mirror is in cahoots with thw scale to lie to me.
I really do feel extremely obese people look younger. I have underestimated the age of every obese person by about 10 years 😂
I wonder if this happens when you lose weight too fast? Causing too much stress on the body 🤔
God people are vain. Go ahead internet lady, gain it all back. Enjoy your young face and 99 year old metabolic age. Hope your will is in order. 🙄
I had a turkey neck before weight lose …soit will be just some more…rather be healthy!
I get this..Im trying to be careful but i can't help it..I like my round face..but it feels so good to be able to buckle my sandles or use the smaller blood pressure cuff..so Im taking it slow..or trying to 33lbs down from June..on 2.5
🧡🧡
I think and have been told I look younger
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💓
Kevin is a great costar!!!!
Ive lost almost 60 lbs i started at 207 im 150 now . Im 37 & i definitely look older. My mom asked was i stressed. My best friend who lives across the country met up with me for a girls & said i looked great(weight loss) but she also asked was im upset or stressing to much. Its so bad that I've considered fillers but they're so terrible. I hate it. Its hard too because my weight loss wasn't really health related. I definitely want to be healthy & wanted to prevent future issues. But for me this was to feel more comfortable in my body. Im smaller but i dont like the the new look. Obviously im not trying to gain weight back but it is hard. Because im not even at my goal yet & my face looks gaunt.
