For anyone else attempting this where the unit doesn't come out as easy as shown in the video there are two more clips on the top which need to be pressed. I found the easiest way is to gently pull the housing away from the headlining and use a plastic trim tool to press them from behind the housing. Once both are released the unit can be removed with relative ease.

Hello Robin, I’m trying to follow the steps watching this video, but when I’m trying to remove the head unit the top tangs remain stuck, how did you managed to lift those??
      Thanks

@@JRS.media01 I think a combination of some jiggling and a small flat head screw driver.

@@JRS.media01 did you succeed? I think mine was quite easy like the video. It is a 2008 model.

Mine defaulted to German language. Pressing button and bottom right switch for two seconds opens a ‘non public menu’ which allows you to change language to English.

Is this how you get to the hydraulic pump screw is case the roof doesn’t come down?

@@campervanaccessories5820 does that mean I’m screwed? I intend to keep a close watch on it just in case it loosens and allows the lead to come out or worse still come loose and cause a fire. I’m nervous now.

@@AustinBarnestl319 it should stay in as it doesn’t move too much you could try putting some tape over it I would not worry too much about it catching fire as it’s very low voltage

@@campervanaccessories5820 Thank you so much for the reply and the reassurance. Also the good idea of putting a bit of tape on it.
