The are hunted and chased, got trapped but they constantly the to get free. They got trapped in Chase Me, but in this video they break their corresponding nightmare by obtaining the grimoire (and even lose it in the epilogue) that was used to tie them down and they trap the guy who trapped them. The direct interpretation of the lyrics depict a scenario when one is having a nightmare so in this case the story line and the direct interpretation of the lyrics are pretty close.

Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) 'JUSTICE' MV Good night was their 2nd title track and 3rd song overall that came out 4 months after their debut. You might want to see where they are now 7 years,10 mini albums and 2 full albums and 3 Japanese albums later. But please note: They are still considered to be a K-Pop VOCAL group of 7 singers and if you ask Google who is the face of Rock in K-Pop, it will tell you it is DreamCatcher. It means mapping them to traditional rock bands will not really work but they have pioneered a genre that did not really exist before. They currently have 91 songs and a literally no skip discography with a very large coverage of genres along their B-Sides but if you are not used to K-Pop structure it takes some time to mentally process a song due to the large amount of cuts and transitions.
And just a fun trivia On February 8, 2022, the South Korean rock band Rolling Quartz did a remake of Good Night as homage to Dreamcatcher. Which was added to the 1st mini album, "Fighting" of the band. The MV Director for Good Night is also the CEO of the company Rolling Quartz’s director works for. Rolling Quartz's drummer, Im Yeung Eun, was Handong's (member of DreamCatcher) drum teacher.
I like that those bands aren't only using electronic instruments and keep rock alive in their ways. I'm not a big fan but always nice to discover and know they exist. Thank you for that!

They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Good Night is one of their heavier releases, and I love it. It is part 2 of the Nightmare arc, which spans 6 releases and 1 Japanese bonus. The first one is "Chase me". Here, the Nightmare hunter casts spells to trap the members, but they get the book from him and turn it against him, trapping him behind the mirror. The next song in the Nightmare arc, "Fly High", is from the album "Prequel", which is a strong hint to consider. 😉 That is also a very interesting song. I would also recommend reacting to the Japanese release "Endless Night". It is one of their heaviest songs.
dreamcatcher \:D/ your reaction might have gotten lost in the sea of 'justice' reactions since that song just came out a few days ago. dreamcatcher is a vocal oriented pop group so their songs will always be pop focused, but they do like to mix in a lot of rock as well as other genres. other than justice which just came out, you can also check out deja vu or vision.

I'm glad that you've finally discovered Dreamcatcher. However they are a GROUP and NOT a band, as far as I'm aware none of the ladies play any instruments but am happy to be proved wrong.
They don't play any instruments for Dreamcatcher, but as far as I know Dami plays guitar, Gahyeon piano, Jiu recorder and piano and Handong said she played drums.

Chase me is their debut song and really shows Dreamcatcher at their core.
They just came out with a new song yesterday called "Justice" and it is so epic.
