If Samsung and Microsoft got together and completely intregrated Samsung Galaxy Tab lineup Android and Windows it would force Apple to finally to the same. I suspect they won't do it until Microsoft/Samsung do it. And really, the iPad Pro M4 with 1 TB and 12 GB with Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro is $2400 while the Macbook Air M3 13 inch is $1700 with 1 TB and 16 GB. I can see why it not selling that great despite being such a super Display/Speed machine. I have the iPad Pro 12.9 inch and though I could use some of the sketch features in the M4 iPad Pro I really can't justify $2400 for just that. I don't really need it. So, I will hold out for maybe even 1.5 yrs at which time there could be other major innovations that would be even better.
They just need a better file management system on iPadOS. I don’t think iPads need full MacOS. Apple is leaving it to app developers to make their apps more fully featured
I’m still waiting for someone, anyone, to give me a definition of what a “pro” is. By my definition, I am a pro. I professionally sell, for like 35 years. I use the heck out of the iPad Pro and if I had to I could make it my only computer. Don’t have to so I won’t. Sometimes you need a hammer and a saw won’t work. Great video by the way!
Pro in my opinion is much like “luxury” These words are stamped into goods, often inferior goods, to make them seem more expensive or valuable. No phone for example, should be labeled “pro” in my opinion, as there are no professional workflows that can be done exclusively on that device. Tablet maybe, laptop sure. But even a lot of these devices that have pro in the name, would be the last device true professionals would chose for their work Appreciate the feedback, glad you liked it!

Definitely a smart idea to hold off, it’s just not worth it yet

That would be a huge start, because it still feels to “mobile” of an experience

@@PatrickMcNamara8 Yeah, I think those “true professionals” are buying maxed out Studio Ultras or MBP with the Max chip, for sure not M4 iPads!
