I will admit that the blueprints process has caused me to shy away from them but this little video has convinced me that I should give them a shot. I appreciated your ever so diplomatic reference to, "not in the first flush of youth". I am not exactly elderly but more and more I feel like youth has flushed, thinking processes are clogged and someone has made off with the plunger. Congrats on the 12K subscribers. I always look forward to seeing what you have found and how you keep adding little bits and bobs to the videos to make them ever more professional. Great stuff Feb!

I've been using Transfer Settlement Blueprints for quite some time, and can't seem to play without it now. I love it.
When I first started, I used the Mod Manager download button for the first few. The problem is that it automatically assigns it to the folder the blueprint creator used. So many times, different authors will use the same folder. You can't have more than one blueprint in a folder, so it can wreak havoc pretty quickly. You wind up going into the folders manually anyway to fix the issue.
I will say, that I also learned pretty early on that it's best to rename the blueprint to something that you'll recognize in-game. For instance, you have more than one "bp.json" in your game. Remembering which one you want could get tricky if you have 5 or 6 with the same name. I try to include the author's name to remind me of which one I downloaded, as there are so many for the same settlements, and I include the settlement's name.
It's become second nature to me now, and has saved SOOOO much time in settlement building. Imagine hand-placing over 2,000 objects. That would take me ages. I'd rather have it done in "about 10 minutes".
Thank you for making this video. I think it will help a lot of people. I know that I wish I'd found Transfer Settlement Blueprints sooner.

Thanks. A handy reminder. I've used it in the past but stopped as I often didn't have the mods (and my load order is already huge). Maybe it's time to try again, especially for those settlements that are a nuisance to build at. 😃

The thing I like about Transfer Settlements is it only requires the mods for the settlement items used, not the entire original load order. Also, it lets you build the blueprint even if you have missing mods, though this can lead to some interesting settlements!

I started a vault 88 build and it’s taken me weeks just to do the atrium and when I saw you could import blueprints I wanted to try it and it didn’t work and there was zero straight forward directions , sure they tell you what to do but not directly they just expect you to know , so thank you for this video it helps me alot

If i import a settlement into starlight drive in and sleep in the dugout inn at diamond city for 3 ingame days will that give it time to generate navmeshes?

The import wired power connections and restore snapped power connections options arent there in my holotape and its so frustrating because the settlements are pitch black at night with no powered lights😭 how do i get those options to show up in my holotape

I can't even install transfer settlements via the mod manager, it doesn't show up there even if I add from file. I was going to try manually but the mod description says "Enable TransferSettlements.esp using a mod manager or manually." and idk how to do anything manually aside from just dropping the files in the folder. Gosh why is this so complicated....

What Mod do you use to more the workbench? Thanks for sharing this info. I just downloaded Transfer Settlement Blueprints and copied a few of my settlement but haven't imported any yet, this will help.

The MOD I miss is the Blueprint maker that you could customize any section or bits of pieces that you wanted to copy. This "MOD", "Transfer Settlement Blueprint" is not a blueprint in the true sense of the word. It is more like a game save broken down by site/settlement location. And to have to open the 'download' with a zip manager is like opening the saved game file to edit in the GECK.

i got this little problem when i finish importing and try to quicksave the game freezes for at least 10 min and i have to shut it down. Is it normal or am i missing something?

I knew I was doing something wrong, I just didn't remember what.
I followed all the steps for the Minuteman Airship on Spectacle Island until I realized I labeled all the folders wrong. Each one has to be in numerical order or it doesn't work.

the video was somewhat helpful. got to a point where my files wernt the same so i cannot continue, every other video i watched had nothing to do with what i needed and im upset i couldnt get the stuff to work, spent 12 hours + doing mods and checking and rearranging files and nothing to show for it

How do you remove a blueprint? Because downloaded a vault 88 blueprint, installed and it has no walls 😂

By the time we go 5 or six folders in I am like yeahhhh..... plus the folders on my PC are NEVER in the same place as or has the same name as the tutorial I am watching.... sighhhh....
