Coming from tekken, I feel like it's important to understand Soul Calibur notation Essentially 1-3 means the bottom row of your dpad 4 is back, 5 is neutral, and 6 is forward 7-9 is the top row A = 1 B = 2 G = 3 K = 4
In order to do the MCFT A+B~G cancel on hit you have to tap 2 at the right time. Press 2 just before Voldo is about to go up in the air after hitting MCFT A+B. You press 2 just after the input window for A+B~2 goes away. Then hold G. You can also do BS moves during those types of recoveries. I also found out you can do iBS from neutral. 214G really fast. Good tut!
Watching you back in nationals, Volder became one of my favs. I learned a lot on the old SC2 forums and still learning PAL tips today. Thanks for the awesome tutorial.
Voldo is my 2nd favorite soul calibur character besides you know who. But as I play the different soul calibur games, his moves were left out or different directions to do them. It became confusing so I don't play him as much as I use to.
Pardon my absolute being a noob, really been trying to learn SC2, cuz I've owned it forever, but any half decent tutorial, like yours, uses terms I can't quite understand like well, when you use the numbers. I kinda don't get it. What's up with the numbers in the combos? Again, sorry for being the noob that asks.
Each number is a position on the d-pad, the mapping goes 1= left bottom corner, 2= down, 3 = right bottom corner, 4-6 are the same pattern but in the middle row and 7-9 are the same but the top row. If that makes any sense...

A month or so ago, I remember you saying something about how you have a predetermined sequence of moves planned for judging your opponents skill level in ttt2, a lot like how you say you used to play Voldo. That seems to conflict with how you say you play him now. Has your opinion changed since then or do you use different play methods for each game?
I definitely use different play methods for each game. I know a lot more about this game than I do about TTT2. My defense is much better and that makes my defensive confidence better. The more you know, the less you need to do.
Voldo has had His Fighting Stages located inside in 6 Games now it's time for Him to have His Own Stage to be located Outside for the Next Game in Italiy He's Looked Right enough it's time for Him to Face the Left for His Screen Icon to be His Main Portrit

Sometimes depending on character size and range. Small characters can crouch it.
