You look at the practice demonstration in the game and it shows when and how fast you need to input them. Its ok if you don’t like it though It’s a peculiarity of the game
A tip, from a King player. Actually, the chain throws are not too hard to break. Throw in the vid is basically trash, because you can always break the second throw with 1 button. With his f,n,d,d/f 1+4 and 2+3 throws a.k.a. the Standing heel hold and the Arm breaker, AKA the Back breaker and the Rolling death cradle, you need to mash 1+2 and the most damaging version will be breaked. (with Death cradle, first throw after the Arm breaker (Chicken wing) is broken with 1+2, and the Death cradle itself is broken with 2) And when before the chain throw King performs the spinning step, he can decide how you need to broke every throw, either with 1 or 2. So I just mash 1 or 2 t'ill the end. Don't be cheese'd by this, just go to training mode and learn the animations of the initial throws. After throw in the vid (D/F 1+3) mash 1 After f,n,d,d/f 1+4 or 2+3 mash 1+2 After spinning step throw mash either 1 or 2 And he have another multi throw, called Revese special stretch bomb (D/F 2+4) But here to break the most damaging version just mash 2 Most of King's are just lazy and won't learn every his throw, so they will always just do the most damaging version. Or they will just mash 1+2+3+4. Warning: if they just mash, the follow-up's after initial chain throws will probably be breakable with 1. So if King player looks like they mash, you need to mash 1. If they looks smart try to use instructions. Of cousre, if they really smart, or just Tekken nerds (like me), you need to know every chain throw, because they will mix it up. Sorry for my bad English, I'm Russian. Just hopes that it will help someone :3
The presentation found throughout this video is perfect. You show the move's 100% damage from its beginnings, then, with games where the damage was nerfed, show the move from full health and again while the opponent is at reduced health, the amount of health that the move does in terms of total damage, where the enemies health needs to be to pull the move as more a coup de grace than anything. Very nice.
