Just a small correction, 10-hit combos are available from Soul Charge lvl 2, no need for lvl3. Other than that, very good tutorial. I've been playing him offline with my sparring partner during the last few days, he's a decent, fun character.
Heihachi's been my favorite since back when the game came out on ps2. It helped hat I've also been a Tekken fan since forever. The only character I would have been more hyped for would probably be Steve Fox, but I'm pretty sure he didn't exist yet, til Tekken 4.
I feel like the Hellsweeps really need to be explored. Traditionally it's one of the best combo tools in Tekken, so it could be applicable for high damage in this game.

I test 2G on the PS2 version and Heihachi can totally 2G the GIs. 100%. I have not played the HD online version.

Given that 2G is technically a glitch, it makes me wonder why Heihachi isn't susceptible to it.

Maybe this HD-port is based on Xbox pal version of the game. And that's why Hei doesn't have 2G?

Also, EWGF (623:B with strict timing) is mid while normal version is s-mid which makes it really good as a whiff punisher
If only Hei had access to a legitimate wavedash like DJ in SCV. I think that would solve the spacing issue no problem.
