- Here is a little footage we shot while riding the 2021 Kawasaki KX250X a little while ago. I've been staying off this bike to keep the hours low. That will give me the time to ride it now that the weather is getting better and more terrain opens up.

It's just a matter of time before your boy's will be turning around to see where you are. LOL
Exact same thing I was thinking! That happened with my son - I used to wait for him a lot on his 65, then not as much on his 85, then he wasn't too far behind me, then went to a KX250F and I became slower. Now he has to wait for his old man! ;-)
@@GATOROC1 did he became faster rider or did you become a slower one. Types of questions that keep you up at night lol.

I drive truck for a living and come to Utah some times. I'd love to ride with you out here. It's so beautiful
I have this bike. I am so impressed, very user friendly it really is my best friend out on the trails and makes me look so much better than I am.
I just got this bike too. Haven’t had a chance to test it out yet but all the positive reviews are awesome to hear
The caption made me think I was getting ready to watch a Ronnie Mac video
Kyle- A video on the KLX300r would be awesome!! KLX300 or even a CRF300l would be awesome too. I know the dual sports are not your usual ride style but there is a lot of interest lately since Kawasaki and Honda started upping the CC’s in these bikes.
I have a 300L kickass bike if you're into dual sports
I have this KX250X and CRF300L with every possible mod. I wouldn't sell my CRF now because I have many thousands of dollars into it with upgrades. What I can tell you is this the KX is great from new and does not need any mods. The CRF needs almost everything you can think of done. In hindsight I think it would be worthwhile considering a dual sport that is sorted from new like one of the KTM or Husqvarnas this would be a much bigger outlay from new but in the end to get the CRF right you would spend nearly just as much and still be left with a bike with less power. I love my CRF because this is what I started to learn on before progressing to the KX for off road stuff but if I had the chance of doing it over I would get the KTM690R.
Why don’t you ever try the Crf rx? I would like to know your opinion about the 2021 450 rx and the 2020 400rx from redmoto. Cheers
I tried twice, but it was smashed in the polls I made. Yamaha and Kawi smashed it in the polling.
@@DirtBikeChannel can you Be more specific? I don’t know what you mean by “polling” sorry... my english isn’t the best 😅
@@JuniorSilva-st7zg he let his viewers vote on which bike he should try next and most voted for Yamaha and Kawasaki.

If forced to choose: would you pick this, a CRF250RX or a YZ250FX ?
It would be fun if you could record both sides of the conversation.
that's such a cool area to ride. I'm glad to see the snow has melted enough. we'll go out there this weekend! gotta switch it up. been riding the same trails a lot lately. glad to see you out with your boys. they are going to be as good as Graham when they get older!
The the videos! My dad just picked up a klx 140R and I ride it, he wants to get a kx 250 4 stroke. This will be his second bike after riding a 125 for awhile. He is only 5,8 so do you think it will fit him? Thanks for your time!
Great vids!!
Glad you like them!
Hey Kyle!! Great video dude
With Connor's 85 SX, did you have to re-jet the carb and change gearing/sprockets for him to ride it in Enduro trails? I've been wanting to get my daughter the same bike but worried that in the tight technical stuff she'd be fouling plugs or have to stay on the pipe the whole time. Any input would be greatly appreciated bud
Cheers!!
Love to hear your thoughts on the Kawasaki 250X vs. Yamaha 250FX you recently spent time on.
He mentioned doing a comparison earlier. Thought the yz250fx was a clear winner. Not so much after watching this vid.
I’d like to see the Yamaha 250FX comparison also as I rally a WR250F
I think id choose the YZ250FX as it has all the same goodies + better suspension & a 6speed wide ratio trans
I would like to see how it handles on more technical riding and switch backs
To me it handles great on technical stuff , I'm 54 and haven't ridden for a while ,so I bought a new one and started ridding it recently and thought I'd be real slow but it was the opposite I got on it felt great and am able to go as good as I ever did through the tight single track of nj big roots and ruts switch backs all day its just comfortable stable and fast , I am sure any new bike would feel great as I'm by no means a pro rider just fun but it's so light to me it feels like a BMX bike when I was a kid , so my early opinion on it and I've only ridden it 2times in the week I've owned it is its the easiest bike I've ridden on the tight stuff and rips on the small track I e been on , I love it
@@amaiorano67 cool man thanks! I ride a 2018 KTM 250xcw and I love it but thinking about selling it and getting either this or a Yamaha.
What do you use to talk to your kid while riding? I need this for myself and my two kids...we always yell back and forth!
Probably a senna setup
How many hours do you ride in an average year?
What did you like better? This kx250x or the crf250rx??
First time subscriber long time viewer. Any plans on getting a TM Racing 2 stroke to review? I'd also like to see a comparison between Honda's new 2021 CRF450RX and Kawasaki's KX450X. And maybe how they compare to this KX250X.
My brother races tms.
Super strong top ends
Super good midrange
Good bottom end grunt
You poke the clutch and hold on.
It's very trackable
Very predictable
When you say it’s not an ideal beginners bike is it due to the power curve? I am a semi new rider, had an extra inner but looking for a comparable 250 4 stroke. Would this not be that bike?
Hey Kyle, I hope you can help me with some advice. I have a 2006 kawasaki KDX 200 and I had to replace the seals in the rear shock. Do you by any chance know if it's possible to fill it with air or do I have to refill it with nitrogen?
Nitrogen
Kyle, beta 200rr or ktm 150 xc, if you had to choose one. What would it be. Already have a 4t looking for a small bore 2t
beta 200, hands down! ridden both.... bought the Beta, super fun. great low end pull....
@@kevintruax5130 thanks for the input 👍
So a MX bike with a kickstand and 18" rear wheel fail to see anything?
Kawasaki's are pretty nice I have a 2017 250f and I ride it almost only on rocky terrain and it works amazingly
Could you give it a shot on the motor cross track with this bike?
Even though I know it’s not the bike for it I would like to know how it handles.
Hey Kyle, any experience with the Beta X Trainer?
Let your periph watch the leader's rear tire to let you know if there is an obstacle or something ahead but for the most part you need to be looking ahead almost as though there is no one in front of you. Never just zone out at somebody's rear tire or anything for that matter. If you start racing you'll learn this naturally.
I still ride my 03 kdx. Love the thing. Still haven't found a bike to make me want to get rid of it. Maybe the xcw 250 tip once they get the rest of the links out.
You’re killing it with the father son ryd. Plus the conditions look very comfortable to ryd.
Not sure if the 85 has a higher top speed, but i bet it has a longer range. The kx has a 1.6 gal fuel tank. What was kawasaki thinking?
Great video!! What headset are you guys using?
Cardo Pack talk
Awesome thanks!
The title says “So Good” but the bike didn’t even make your top 10 on your top 10 video? I’m confused.
It would be interesting to weigh a stock 300xcw ... then build it out into an extreme enduro bike (all the guards, bibs, fans... etc.) just to see how much weight all that stuff adds to the stock setup.
Good morning sir,
I enjoy the videos. I try and watch them all for the sake of helping a brotherson out.
I would like to see and hear videos from the boys perspective.
You know mix it up a bit.
If all the episodes are the the same perspective it gets a bit old.
I am trying to be positive and upbuilding.
We all know what you sound like.
But thank you for what you do.
I would like to see you keep going for a while (and be able to support your family)
But how bout mixing up a bit for season 2.
I may look in to that 250 for my son’s next bike when he out grows the 150 R. We mostly ride single track but, we found an awesome place, Hidden Falls Adventure Park, which is really rocky and has some climbs to negotiate. Have you been able to test it in the more difficult terrain? If so, how did it do?
I have been wanting to head down to hidden falls. It's on my list this season. Heard it was a great place to ride with a lot of single track. Going with a group to Red River Motorcycle Trails Saturday.
@@tonymoore9128 it’s awesome, we hit a little single track but my 12 year old was not feeling it. So me and my middle son went out and hit some pretty rough stuff. I’m really looking forward to going back and eventually going to Red River and Barnwell also. I really think i am done with street riding
Those low displacement mx two strokes have had unbelievable top speeds since the 1980's. My buddies yz80 could hang with my other buddies yz 250 back in the day
Of all the bikes ive ridden, whether it be 450s or gsxrs, yz85s to this day scare me the most 😆
Does it have a hydraulic clutch?
Why u dont do graphic decal on your bikes? Is there any particular reason?
He probably goes through plastics too much to be spending money on graphics kits 😆
Yz250fx or this? And i am 200, fit, before gear. I know you dont like 450's but if you were my weight (230 ish on the bike) would you want more power? Thanks buddy
I know your asking Kyle but I am 6 foot and about same weight with full gear. I ride the Beta 300rr - I would suggest any of the 300 enduro two strokes like XCX,TE,FC, Beta 300rr, Sherco 300 etc - all have heaps of power for our weight range. And if you are going technical I have seen two people in my area in the last year ditch their YZ250FX for one of the mentioned bikes. The kickstart and a number of other things just make it built much more for fast open track or Desert riding. But if you get into the Gnar you will hate it.
@@thesmoness i have a 300xc. Was looking for a second bike. The 250fx has electric start.
@@mathews0618 my mad I misread 250fx for 250x. Okay more similarities then, I recently spoiled myself with a deposit down on a sherco 300 sef factory four stroke. I also wanted a 4 stroke for variety but where I live in the PNW if your not on an mx track your in the gnarly technical trails so I debated 250fx but went with the sherco as it seems the most enduro of them. A beta 350 or 390 could have been a good option
@@thesmoness i have atv trails we ride too that are fast. I dont NEED another bike lol
@@mathews0618 I would got 250fx looks a blast on the faster stuff and the tuner app seems rad
How old is your son because I have a kx65 and am 13 and I don’t know if I should move onto a 85 or 125 2 - stroke
125
@@OMFGTrexKyle ok thanks
Yes. All modern 4 strokes handle on Western tight stuff because that is not that tight and yes you do know that Kyle. I am not against any of the bikes but when you get into the unmanicured trails of the Midwest and East Coast then let me know how they handle because I can tell you they don't.
kaw 250x or yam 250fx?
could u do a review on a ttr 230? im interested in buying one but i really only trust you lol. also, does wd 40 work for rust resistance on chain?
Ttr's are really solid bikes. As long as you're more looking for longevity, they're pretty hard to kill. Keep in mind that they aren't designed for all out power like the YZ but they are pretty much indestructible in comparison. Hope this helps😁
He has a video where they ride it: ruclips.net/video/eVky2_cx0LM/видео.html
If you’re looking for a motorcycle you’d never need to replace for trail riding, woods riding, it’d definitely be a TTR. The TTR 230 was my very first dirt bike. And it literally went up any hill, over trees / logs, rocks, etc. I truly believe a TTR 230 is the best option for beginner entry as you barely even need to change the oil. My friend has a TTR 125 that he probably changed oil 3 times in 10 years. (Lazy). And it still starts and goes man. They’re literally tanks for off-road use.
Can you do a beta x trainer 300 review
It seems that kawasaki performs very well like my '97 kmx 125.
What about the 450x?
I really enjoy your videos but..... I can’t really use any advice because I don’t afford any bike :( even tho I do love looking at dirt bikes. :(
Ride the Ktm 350 exc-f or xc-f
Sorry but I just can no longer bring myself to ride 4t's anymore after buying and riding my 21 300 xcw. Nothing exciting about them, they just seem so boring.
KX250X vs YZ250FX comparison please.

-you were a big fan of YZ250FX
-you are a big fan of KX250X

Kyle, but it’s a 4 stroke ! 2 smokers for life ! Plus they sound way better. Just sayin😆
Good vid eh, good riding. Ur selling that 250x very well ha, maybe my next bike.
in the fast stuff would you say the Kawi is better than the YZ250fx you had?
Both make similar power so they would be roughly even depends on the gearing you run
The Yamaha has 6 speed so maybe it has a slight advantage
I wouldn't mind making this my first four-stroke!
I still want one
It's a great bike
I see people getting new bikes when they have five while I have a 1993 XR100R lol

Hyper 4 strokes aren't really technical oriented trail bikes... they are built for racing.
