Instructions unclear, accidentally summoned Indiana Jones cosplayer who now refuses to go, please send help he ate everything I had at home and now there are Germans knocking on the door and threatening to blow up my house if I don't give them some sort of artifact, please help
this may be fashionably late, but it's fashionably outstanding. especially the part at 1:52 onward, there were times when certain instruments sounded exactly like their counterparts. i love seeing unique content like this with so much effort and skill on youtube, keep up the good work!
just to satisfy my audio nerd AND orchestra nerd curiosity- how much of the dynamics/balance was done manually with your voice and how you sang versus editing after the fact?
Just when you think RUclips belongs in a museum, think again! Hats off to you sir, you are a genius! Emulating an entire orchestra with your voice, with such perfect pitch and precision, well, take it from a fellow musician, John Williams would bow down to this! What did I find with this upload?...Illumination 🙂
Ok, I hate a cappella - there I said it - but this is so nuts, it's kinda brilliant, and will make you appreciate what goes on in a composer's brain. Anyway, it did for me. Well done.
Fantastic video! You just got a new subscriber 😊 My dog enjoyed it as well, and he even joined in. The howls he contributed are probably closest to a piccolo 😂
man this is awesome, i really wish i were capable of something like this, you nailed it, i hope you'll continue to sing as an orchestra with other movie soundtracks
Brilliant! Do you say "made with or from the human voice" because, I presume, you don't actually have a 7-octave range, so there was some pitch adjustment involved? Also, I love that the auto-generated transcript thinks you're singing in Korean.
Thank you for watching my glorified hair growth tipelapse!
Always happy to oblige
THE LEGEND IS BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
No problem.
You look and sound fantastic no matter how long your hair is
I can't even how long did this must have taken
*this is what my brain sounds like whenever I make a right turn*
Matthew just said: who freaking needs AI or an Orchestra when u has *HUMAN VOICE*. Damn this is truly sick, cheers mate
A glorious feat, incredibly crafted. I admire all the long hours of hard work you put in there. Your talent and precision are overwhelming. Kudos!
Glorious is the word that came to me also. STANDING OVATION! 👏
He has returned. READY THE ARMY!
Return of the King
The amount of effort put into this - both recording and editing - must have been immense, and it sounds fantastic!
These videos are so cool! I always notice touches that some of the background instruments adds when it’s visualised out this way, great work
Like the easy to miss clarinet runs.
We must protect this guy at all costs
This brings back all the memories of me playing Lego Indiana jones for hours on end
0:26 BANANA BANANA BANANA
😂
YES!!! Another John Williams cover from Matthew, love it!
I can't imagine how long it must've taken for the video to be edited and timed with everything. Well done!
Baby wake up a new Matthew Van Ness orchestra just dropped🙌🏼

I don't wanna know how much work it is to make that...
Welcome back, dude. What a fantastic performance you gave.

"Dr. Jones, how will you fight us, you and what Army"? (Then sees the choir).
At fFirst I was thinking, Wow, they brought in a whole Tuba to play 4 notes in 2 verses. Then I saw the Contrabassoon.
OMG!!!!! I've been waiting for this one for ages! If I could have given you more than one thumb up, I would! THANK YOU!!!!! 😁
Great! Special respect for the woodwinds! And interesting how this video offers a new perspective on instrumentation. 😁
The little girl in me that’s always been obsessed with all the little details of background music is loving this

Ok, I hate a cappella - there I said it - but this is so nuts, it's kinda brilliant, and will make you appreciate what goes on in a composer's brain. Anyway, it did for me. Well done.
Precise runs in the woodwinds. Nice clarity
Fantastic video! You just got a new subscriber 😊

(You know the rest)
Excellent and when the artist enjoys what they are performing it adds to the viewing pleasure! XXX ❤
Well-done, Mathew!
Excellence at its best.
This is amazing work! It would have taken ages to work out and record individual voices and put it all together. Well done, Matt!
The effort is certainly apparent
1:26 Tuba at the right staring in the middle distance.
Singing 6 notes.

Brilliant! Do you say "made with or from the human voice" because, I presume, you don't actually have a 7-octave range, so there was some pitch adjustment involved? Also, I love that the auto-generated transcript thinks you're singing in Korean.
