I have over 4 thousand LP's to listen to here at home. I came here to see your workshop. Background music is a nice thought but totally distracts from the excellent shop tour!

Thanks for the tour. It looks like you spend your time making products, and not pimping out your shop. Good on ya! It's also amazing the amount of dust accumulation, (even after the Christmas break clean up), vs the amount of effort to collect it. It's a struggle to keep a clean shop when you are trying to make it pay...
Yes dust is just normal. If we invested about 20k we could be 95% dust free, but a broom costs less. Yes it is a productive shop and not rented, although there is always scope to rent to the right craftsmen where opportunity requires.

What paint do you use for your kitchens?

Hi peter. We use a few different types. For hand paint we use little greene as we are retailers for them. For sprayed we use p.u. mainly.

Is that symphony coatings?
Yes and we use symphony as part of our supply too.
Is their waterborne product good or you use PU only?
@@petervido2405 all of their paints are good. We use waterborne clear lacquer and it works a dream

For the format 4 it's about 28k gbp

No way Felder are the best. Most top production companies in the UK use Altendorf or Martin.
Altendorf and martin are the top in my opinion
rather jelouse of your huge workshop, regarding your spindle, on the machine plate there is a test number if you go to marks website ( www.wadkinrestorations.co.uk/machine-date.html ) this will allow you to date it. I'm guessing its from the 60s.
i have a few wadkin machines in the workshop and apart from the old DR that is from 1934 they are all from the 60s all made within 5 years of one anther.

I dread to think how much your rent is, I moved out to middle of nowhere to reduce the rent, a larger space and 1/2 the rent.
The pk is nice but honestly I prefer my PP, I'm looking for a wadkin RK if you know of someone selling one.
No worries, it's always nice to see people's layouts. I will do one myself some time next year when I'm happy with it.

Awesome be interested to see what came with it and the switch gear it came with
Kept all the original pulleys and switch gear but unfortunately the motor needed a rewind so I put it on 3 phase with a 240v inverter and it has variable speed now. Will do a rundown no doubt.

Great video! Doesn't need the trippy background music with drums etc though.. Music's alright, but it makes hearing the voice a little difficult

Better the saw gets damaged than a finger. Thats all I know. 😇
