As a fluent English speaker i'm actually beginning to realize how hard it is to actually learn English.

It’s really easy to learn English ! The only hard thing is the accent
its easier then DUTCH i mean that LANGUAGE DOEST MAKE ANY SENSE

4 advice to speak fluent English
1) stopped 'T'
2) Glottal 'T'
3) contractions with " Will "
4) linking ' S' vowel
After seeing the first rule itself i found out how good , simple and effortless our indian accent was.

As someone who was born in America with American English as my first language, and as someone who has studied Spanish Translation and other foreign languages, this is extremely interesting. I think most of us don't realize that we speak like this until someone points it out... I would imagine you're an excellent American English teacher, I'm even learning and I'm already fluent! Lol
"Lazy habit" is the key to most American pronunciation. I'm American (and old) but I find these kinds of lessons fascinating, but they make me self-concious about how I talk now.
"The plant"sounds like "the plan"
Yeees
Yeah they don't pronounce "T"
We don’t really pronounce the “T”
Like “literally” would be pronounced as “liderally” ya get what I mean?
With plant we kind of stop the T at the the throat. There is a slight difference in how the two sound.
If you feel your throat is contracting at the end of "plant" then you're probably getting it right. With plan, however, you're just stopping at the letter N.
😔 yeah

Hey Vanessa! Thanks again for your amazing contribution to my English improvement. What´s really important for me is to get around good and challenging people and be passionate at all times in order to achieve my goals.
This is super advanced. I've learned the material, but of course I still need more repetition to sound perfect.
The hardest thing for me is the glottal american t, definitely. l am bilingual in Italian and Spanish and as far as l know that sound does not exist at all in latin-languages. ln contrast, the non-rothic british accent sometimes causes misunderstanding, British do not pronunce R at all. Thank you, this video was very useful

I really really appreciate you sister Vanessa. I am an Indian, and yes India is an English speaking nation who only puts emphasis on reading and writing but not speaking with proper pronunciation and accent. Thank You your video helped a lot❤️❤️
It's not really like that.
They just follow their own accents, like Britain.
But yeah they teach other accents as well.
Cause indian accent isn't really much helpful across the world.
@Ninja FF India has English as the official language beside Hindi in the Constitution. Even thought English is not a native language of India but India is an English speaking country. I also hate to acknowledge this just like you but this is truth !

For the “winter”, my husband, who is an American, just say it out “winter” instead of making it sounds like “winner.” So do my in-law. I would pronounce it that way too so there would be no confusion.
Yeap true. If you say, 'Plan' instead of 'Plant' I would get confused if you are talking about a plant or a plan 🙄
Thank you so very much TEACHER Vanessa.
Amazing tips! Thank you very much, lady!!!
Great explanations! The T is a lot trickier than most people realize! Understanding these sounds can really help with listening comprehension.
