Thanks for this excellent, comprehensive video. I appreciate you sharing the weak point with us. I am gonna try the JB Weld fix. I spent too much money already on this car.

    Great video, thanks so much!
I am suspecting my fuse to have blown because I don’t ear any pump activity and I have no leaks.
That being said, your video is definitely a keeper, when this cheap white plastic part will crack.
Finally, I wonder if it could be 3D printed…

The white plastic fitting is a pretty trick little check valve so I'm not sure you could 3D print it unless you can figure out the internal diaphragm. Thanks for the comment!

Look at the fuze. If it is broken, it should be a very easy replacement

Nice, Thanks for the video. Not sure the fluid mix you use would work so great in the northeast. We need the -20 fluid or more

True, I'm in Florida and the wife's van is garage kept so no worries here!

Thank you! I shared your video with my hubby so no excuses 😅
Any tips on the sliding door not closing / latching at once ( automatic ) very annoying to get out on kids pick up line and close it 😅

My question is.. are we to expect this to reoccur since the design of the white piece is flimsy? This is a design problem? Seems to be prevalent for Kia owners to deal with this issue.

      Apparently so 😢

I would say so. Because I brought a new one awhile back and it's leaking now.

Sigh. Something I did in anticipation is to twisttie the end or a hoseclip (if u can find right size). I'm hoping that gives enough strength to avoid fixing in 5-10 years.

Watching the video, it looks like you can drive the car onto ramps, remove the front guard under the car and detach/ replace or repair the motor. Wouldn't that work as well?

      Maybe, try it!

@@petedymond I will. My wife has a 2018 Sedona. I tell everyone not to buy it. We had catastrophic engine failure at around 40k miles. Kia said it was not maintained.
      It was!
They did NOT honor the warranty.
We replaced the engine at our expense. since then a seatbelt stopped working, the washer fluid tank failed. This is a one owner car just a bit over 5 years old.
      It is very poorly made!

I was able to do it this way. Had the old pump out in 5mins. Great detailed video though!

Legend mate appreciate the video..was going to try Chinese rip-off pump but now I won’t. I will try gluing the shite outta the valve first, just because I like to make things difficult😂
Then I’m guessing it will be genuine 👍cheers again

When you spend the first 7 minutes on removing the wheel, I lost interest.
