This is the Bofa budget setup for Inferno. This is the lowest gear I'd recommend, although it's certainly possible to do Inferno with much more budget setups.

Amethyst darts or Dragon darts recommended.
95 range, 95 mage, 80 defence, 92 prayer recommended, higher is better.
Some downgrades:
Zaryte vambraces to Barrows gloves
Virtus Top to Ahrims top or Mystic top (Ancestral is fine ofc)
Kodai to Ancient staff or Ancient sceptre
Ring of the gods (i) to Ring of suffering (i)
5 brews as a minimum is good if you want more slots for restores or other things, adding up to 3 for a total of 8 maximum is what I recommend.
Magic legs are NOT considered valuable in any way.
Ring of the Gods (i) in combination with Devout Boots give essentially infinite prayer with minimal flicking, negating the use for any Lightbearer or Eldritch, which I consider to be heavy noob traps that only detriment first-capers. Crystal armor in general has amazing prayer bonus and range defence.
These runs have a focus on good solves, melee dig preparation, and simple prayer flicking solutions.
The plugin to hide dead NPC's and prevent misclicks is "Entity Hider", mark "Hide Dead NPC's" in the Plugin. There are not many other useful plugins for Inferno, Tile Markers can be good, but don't overuse them!
Many players have had great success in the following days trying to imitate this style and while there will always be a learning curve to the content, putting some time in to learn the likes of 1 tick alternation at the very least will add a powerful tool to help you on your road to first cape.

1:33:59 - if you want to see some interesting use of mechanics/the most "complex" pillar stack.
Range Mage Range stack
Solution 1: relog (assuming you kinda fucked it on start, npcs will spawn in the same place but often you can solve it differently to prevent this occuring)
Solution 2 (easy): splash on mager with maximum negative mage bonus = 2t delayed attack from mager = offtickable
Solution 3 (z-offtick sigma male strat): back tile out 1 tick pray range, in 2 ticks, out front row praying mage -> range into alternate or 2t
Splashing is only viable if the mager has NOT respawned an npc (otherwise for magic reasons this doesnt work)

@@BANSHExELITE In certain spawns, depending on where u stand behind a pillar you can "rearrange" the spawns. aaty was saying with the way this spawn was laid out itll always end up like that but its possible with certain spawn points that you can make them "destack"
Got my first cape today. Just want to say your guides really helped push me over the hump where I was stuck with limited resources in the late 50s and early 60s. My last 8 attempts or so were all 63+ with 4-8 brews. Made it to zuk with 6 brews and 6 restores today and finished with 3 restores and 1 brew. Was nervous as a mfer but we did it. Thanks and I will continue to watch these FCF as I'm going to be sending some tasks when the time comes.

What I like most about your runs is how you aren't making this out to be the hardest thing in the world. Everywhere else people always talk about how it's difficult and how it's fine if you struggle, but all that seems to get into my head especially because this cape was one of the end goals for my account. You talking about, and showing how simple it really is, puts it into perspective for me.
The content has a bad rep and stigma, mightve been true in the first year but with ~30k legitimate capes and limitless resources out there it's a 1 week grind at most for anyone with the correct starting gear/stats!
Inferno really just messes with people's mental when they do bad strats or cheese tactics that wastes tons of time, they're the worst offenders of spreading a bad name for the content.
I sent two exploratory attempts at inferno in between work/life/sleep just to try and get a feel for when my weekend comes, and bruh. It’s kinda like the pacing. I realized that there’s just a lot of presumptions about this contents difficulty. That plus having to learn something new, in a new area, is just really emotionally draining. I feel pretty confident I’ll get it within 15 attempts because it’s basically just fight caves but everything hits.
so true! Inferno always seemed this impossible and daunting chore but after watching some of these i felt so confident that i can do it. wave 60 pb so far and having so much fun learning.

@@swampman420It's great because Aaty does it in the lowest reasonable gear I've owned a tbow + masori for a while and it's videos like these that gives me the confidence and motivation I need to actually push through. Turns out Inferno is just like every other content. You have to learn it from the ground up and it's just the matter of you doing the content, learn what you've done wrong and how would you tackle it next time and of course "just send it". Honestly can't thank Aaty enough for this series, I subscribed the moment I heard "collection log: completed" after a long 163 minute inferno run
I've already completed the inferno a couple times but was curious and checked this out. Imo this is the best inferno guide by far, it's straight to the point and made incredibly simple with these methods.
Aaty you are the goat my man. This series took a lot of the nerves out of the inferno and made it seem achievable for myself. Last night, after applying your techniques I was able to make it to triple jads. Gotta say, I love the content and thank you for making the inferno less daunting.
After watching all of these today I finally saw triples! And the run after I got to zuk! I would of had cape if I didn’t step out during healers but that’s that. I’m making it to zuk now so it’s only a matter of time till my cape! Thanks for the amazing guides to help me progress this far in just two weeks❤
Used your vids during leagues to learn inferno. Took a couple month break after leagues and came back and got cape after 5 attempts on my gim. These videos are super useful

Thank you for continuing to make good content for the community. Your outlook on OSRS as told on the Sae Bae cast is something I wish more high-level players had. It allows players like you to continually move the needle on the community's skill level, rather than just complaining that the average player is bad. Empowering players across the spectrum will empower Jagex to push out harder content with more depth. In that way, everyone can get what they want.

You're the goat. Just watched two of your videos and made it to Zuk on the 3rd attempt since returning. PB was wave 63 before. All I could hear in my head was 'Keep it simple'!

Coming back 5 days later from my first initial comment on this post, I got my infernal cape!!! It only took 12 attempts and 3 zuks in total, im extremely stoked at how fast I got it! (Never failed triple jads either) 😎 appreciate the fcf series it really helped !
These guides have really helped me get back into the Grove of things after not touching the inferno for 6 months. Hopefully he releases some guides on some CAs other than 65 min because these are great and have cut my pb by 30 mins or so

Appreciate these guides, started inferno 2 days ago and have already been up to wave 56 so far in 3 attempts and I’m recognizing where I go wrong. Implementing all of the solves into the later waves as much as I can! Just need to work on my 1 tick alternations so I don’t take unnecessary damage early on
Try listening to sea shanty 2 while you flick. It plays at exactly 100 bpm which is the same as the game's tick rate and its synched to the game unlike metronome. Sounds ridiculous but flicking to the beat helped me immensely

Died 2 attempts in a row to a melee using the dps solution
Rigour+masori+ bp specs, first one 28,28,29 and second one 21,28,39 .. jeez im just not doing that again. 89 def
def level will not make any significant difference, it's likely you got unlucky with the melee hits but it's also more important think about making the choice to nuke something faster + being comfy using brews.
tldr faster decisions/actions and it's still almost always the best call, osrs is an rng game, so people will see outliers from time to time, doesn't mean the method is bad.
these videos got me to zuck in 8 attempts, thank you!!! hopefully will have cape soon (killed healers final aoe attack killed me from the grave, healers did 300~ damage i got so unlucky, was also 1hp on the final attak so if i clicked the blue heart id of done it D: died to very last healer aoe...... and had a ton of time before 2nd set )
Welp I have made it to zuk healers and died for a FC, farthest I've made it. Not necessarily because I did anything wrong at zuk; only because I had 1 brew going into zuk and used it up on ranger/healers. Most confident I've felt at inferno. Only a matter of time now till I make a little less mistakes / solve a little faster on the waves going up. (: zuk+triples honestly are easy as long as you are confident.

Today after dinner will be another attempt. I’ve went in 3-5 times so far playing around and made it to wave 30. I have max gear minus Elly. Just finished toa log and run 500s daily so I thought this would be easy for me but it’s actually not. But I do think I am picking it up fast. The melee with double blob and ranger got me. The mellee was hitting me and couldn’t get it to the pillar to hide from everything correct and got smoked

Which ancient sceptre should I bring into the fight, the ice sceptre or the blood sceptre? Having overheal at the end of every wave sounds very nice, but I'm guessing more consistent nibbler freezing is better?

52:55 is a good time to freeze the melle
do not freeze melees, its unreliable and leaves you in vulnerable gear, just kill it or trap it

I don't really believe it would be useful, the same advice as these videos would be all I can add - dps the melee, try to corner trap stuff, practice 1t alternation.

If I may ask though, why do you have 270 capes? At first I would assume pet though seeing as how you have so many kc that you’d have it by now. Do you just enjoy the content or is there something I’m missing
Beyond pet speedrunning inferno is super fun, that's where they're from.
When you hit a certain point in the game, maxed/big bank etc - you start to do the stuff you enjoy rather than the expected grinds. It's a lot more fun and super interesting once you go in depth
Got that fucking wave at 1:36:05 and relogging didn't fix it. Back to wave 1

Would be interesting to see a run without rigour / augury. I don’t know how the prayer drain changes or how much the dps changes using eagle eye, could you still not flick at all?
You'd def need to flick a lot more, especially because Zuk is going to take way longer and thus you'll need to camp prayers longer at Zuk

At 1:02:23 when the ranger got you low on health would it be wise as well to do more take-offs and blood barrage the mager to also heal back up already? or start blood barraging the ranger already and if the mager respawned the ranger heal of that one again?
Also is it worth putting on preserve when brewing and or using bastion/range pot to keep the boost just a bit longer? or is it not worth the prayer drain (which is pretty low for preserve)
barraging mager is a last resort, but if nothing can respawn in a bad position its fine to do so
preserve can be good at jad onwards, i wouldnt bother with it for the waves personally
Just got my first ever cape on my iron (6th attempt), these videos helped so much with tips and all that. Also did no flicking which i previously tought was not possible to do. Thanks again for making these vids man :)
I dont have a max cape, is assembler and mage arena 2 cape gonna hinder me having 1 less inventory space?
Why do we need to not overheal too much with the blood sceptre?
If you're overhealing on every wave, you're using a bunch of time to get a few temporary hp (that you will lose over time anyway) and burning a lot of blood runes and prayer (if you arent 1t flicking) on easy waves.
There's no reason to overheal for a ranger + 2 bat wave for example.

@user-rh6eg4ct5m nah, the accuracy you have in the inferno for freezing is like... +50 or 60 max, which gets you 95%+ chance to freeze on nibblers... adding 5 or 6 accuracy (from the 10% bonus on the ice sceptre) is maybe 0.2% more
The blood is way better, just be smart about it, only milk overheals on waves you think you'll actually have trouble on, like double blobs or 50+.

I have no plans to - in general when I make videos like this it will be directed to the most general audience that can benefit, as well as trying to fit into the correct progression for upcoming pvmers/players who want to improve.
in short, rcb/acb capes are a thing of the past unless you want to overly challenge yourself, bofa is just too good

Ive been getting to healers on zuk constantly but keep dieing there.. so annoying when watching videos like this and it makes it look so easy XD my character just doesn't attack the healers as fluidly even when I've clicked them twice he just takes forever to hit it with the bp
all things the same except: looking to use ahrims top, staff of the dead instead of kodai, pegasians instead of devout, and suffering instead of ring of the gods, think that's still a solid set up?

I ran into a weird issue to where inside inferno whenever i wear my ahrims top with blowpipe all of the darts go straight to the ground, any idea why? same gear as you except for masori assembler and ahrims top
thats just how the assembler works - wiki it!

Ely is fine if you're in max tbow majority and you can afford it, just fairly minimal.
Justi is a crutch that slows down learning and tends to drastically increase the time taken to recieve a cape, while also lessing the benefit to the player in terms of improvement across their cape. Nobody half decent recommends justi for these reasons.

justi slows the learning process, you need to learn in order to get the cape
@@jokurandompappa i would only use justi for 60-63 because of fked rng how it spawns. It has solutions but as first time caper it's good to camp justi and blow pipe or tbow down with rigour. before 60-63 you don't need justi. just for 60-63 imo

yeaaaaaah seeing this video pretty much confirms I'll never get the cape. The time sink is way too high and I'm horrendous with the tick system.
there are disabled players who have achieved cape without the use of their hands, the only thing you need to get cape is a good attitude and a willingness to learn

there's no rush to start the cape, many people will pressure you but fuck them, just give it a go when you feel ready or set a realistic timeframe to grind it out down the road.

Bring ring of the gods, because the +11 prayer bonus is absolutely huge and let's you skip lots of the prayer flicking.

as Aaty recalls in his video last week, you should always be @ north pillar.. so try to do so!
@@Kippehhh I know that, but in some rare cases people tend to go south pillar, be it bad spawns or nibblers, so i think it would be good to showcase what to do in those cases
@@deadskillz45going to south pillar is only to reset everything. Once you go south and everything is safespotted, you go back to North.
