    Yesterday I got my first Infernal Cape, and it was thanks to you. Once more... First I was able to solo Olm because I saw one of your videos, I started doing 1:0 and now I can consistently do 4:1 with zero deaths. And now my biggest dream became true with the Infernal Cape. I did a budget run, with bowfa and blood scepter, but I followed your guide and I was able to reach wave 64 in my second attempt.
    I reached Jad on my 9th attempt, only because I tried learning other methods where I would let the south pilar die. It was good to get to know more of the north pilar safespots and to learn 1tick alternating, but at the end of the day I came back to your guide and reached Zuk.
    In my first attempt at Zuk and Triple Jads I was succefull and got my first cape. I had to tank 5 ranger hits with 8hp and no brew 😅 but it all worked out at the end.
    And I was only able to kill zuk in my first attempt because previously I did about 25 runs in the simulator. The simulator is the reason I got confident and started the grind.
    Thanks again for being a great teacher. It is not only the methods that you choose to teach, it is also how calm you explain things, you make us feel understand. You make every achivement seem reachable. Very down to earth. That makes so much difference. You really seem like a good guy.

    This is one of the best walk through videos I have seen. The calmness that you handle the waves with just helped me get to Zuk 4th try on my iron! I had no idea how viable throwing freezes in tank gear was. I used to start the waves in my crystal armor because that had better magic attack than my tank gear but then I'd get torn apart by the ranger if I was unlucky. Now I start every later wave with tank gear on and I was VERY surprised at how many ranger shots I could tank!
    Additionally, I followed your example and would just bail to the south pillar or go back to north whenever I needed with my tank gear. One wave I think I ran back and forth 3 times trying to solve it (got unlucky with mager respawns).
    The thing I love most about your teaching style is how calm and simple you make everything sound. Really gives me the confidence to get in there and try something. First with solo cox and now inferno! Unfortunately I died to Zuk during the last ranger mager set. Had no brews and ranger hit me for 100 damage in 3-4 hits. I am hoping to get the cape this weekend. Thanks for all the guides!

    Excellent guide! I'm going to try the inferno soon with your strats! One question: when sgs spec, would it be better to throw on melee gear and piety? love the videos bro!!!

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  2 месяца назад +1

      I dont like using piety for sgs spec, because if you splash some zeros you almost waste more prayer than you would gain otherwise.
      Melee gear maybe?
      You dont really need to. GL! I hope you find success :)

    Great guide, only things I would adjust is to use SGS as often as possible, and throw on bandos for increased STR for it as well. Other than that, amazing guide!

  • @JulianLeFlay

    Nice guide! i died to a ranger, blob, mager stack, how can we solve that?

    • @JulianLeFlay
      @JulianLeFlay 2 месяца назад +1

      you show an example at 15:50, would it also work with the blob in the middle? unfortunately i consulted wdr discord for a solve and apparently my mage/range alternating was 1 tick off

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  2 месяца назад

      @@JulianLeFlay this method will work under 2 conditions:
      1.) The monster closest to the pillar in the stack is either a mager or a ranger.
      2.) The "back monster" that you are engaging into is reachable immediately as soon as you step outside of the pillar.
      You could try engage the middle blob as well. Not 100% sure if this would work 100% of the time, but it would be worth trying at least 1 time!

  • @staitc
    @staitc 2 месяца назад +1

    For wave 57, wouldn't it have been easier to let the melee safespot himself on the south-side of the pillar on spawn, kill him, then focus mager rather than risking running to south?

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  2 месяца назад

      Possibly. Thats a great suggestion. However you will be racing the clock to kill the mager before the meleer digs, in which case you could simply reorient your positioning

    • @staitc
      @staitc 2 месяца назад +1

      @@VideoGameBot I was meaning you would kill the melee first before focusing the mager. If the mager respawns the melee it will slide back into the safe spot and can be killed easily before it digs. I do appreciate the demonstration on how being this tanky makes dealing with the ranger aggro less stressful.

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  2 месяца назад

      @@staitc That totally works too. Sometimes I get a little ahead of myself and I was thinking of killing the mager first. You are absolutely correct, and that would work too.
      Sounds like youre already totally aware of the NPC mechanics. Have you already sent attempts? If so, I have no doubt you will earn your cape (if you havent already)! GL

    • @staitc
      @staitc 2 месяца назад

      @@VideoGameBot Yep, I've been sending attempts the past week. My current PB is wave 61 at just 11 attempts so I hope to see Zuk soon. I'm using bowfa w/ crystal armor and don't have 99 def so these late waves where I might have to try and burst down targets to stay alive are going to be tricky.

    Great videos! I watched both your inferno vids on my t.v. cause it popped out a few days ago, and WOW, you explain and make things so easy to understand! Love it! I think a lot of content creators get carried away when showcasing methods and set the tone for others that it's really hard--when yes, it is, but it's not entirely impossible and there are cheese solves around certain waves as you explained! There isn't rules to getting your first cape--a cape earned is a cape well deserved! Don't listen to those that say, "you should learn x method or don't do it.." "don't bring armor it makes it just harder.." and everything else in between! I've practiced the harder version of triple jads on test servers and I know that there's this zuk simulator that you can practice him on (I believe oda showcases it in one of his vids) I think that could be a useful tool to help people practice so that they don't waste a run and die so easily at the end.
    Something else I wanted to point out is the stats of certain armors such as justiciar. The negative mage accuracy seems steep compared to bandos, what is your opinion on using that? Will it cause one to splash significantly more?

      Inferno waves are definitely a bit scarier and more volatile/random than the colosseum waves. That said, I've found that with tank gear (bandos isnt the best. Justi/torva is definitely better) and using the south pillar when things get messy, that we can simply trivialize some of the waves and tank through quite a bit of damage. It's not the best or most efficient way to solve the inferno. But it lets us make lots of mistakes and make things just a LITTLE bit easier :)
