I bought almost all M12s that I've seen you using. They are all worthy given the crazy variety of fabrication activities that are required to do a full depp V build.

We have a rule in our Mechanics Shop, "You can borrow ANY tool you want three times. If you need it more than three times, you need to buy your own."

My very old trusty non brushless DeWalt drill is finally dying so I picked up a Milwaukee drill and driver combo and what a serious upgrade. Blows my Craftsmen out of the water. Yea I like to have 2 drills and 2 drivers available in my homestead. Also picked up right angle and strait M12 cut offs with free batteries. Yea I may never use my air tools again. Picked up the3/8 and 1/2 Mid torque impact as well and the long reach 3/8 inch ratchet. Used the Ratchet and angle grinder to replace my water pump on my 300C in record time. It took longer to burb that car. I preordered the new propane heater which you can get a lot cheaper right now if you preorder. Milwaukee for life now for me. Serious torque and quality in their tools. One thing to note about their batteries and the Fuel tools is that you need to get the new XC batteries with them. The Fuel tools will be able to utilize this battery getting you more run time and more amp draw into your Fuel tool. This will not happen with the older Red Lithium batteries and Fuel tools. Don't get caught up in deals that are selling you the older batteries with the newer Fuel tool design. Peace

The m12 surge and the m18 Fuel hammer drill are life with this build. Add the rivet, installation driver and the deep band saw and I’m set. I’m doing this by myself and the tools are the only reason why I’m still going. I know I’ve bought all the Milwaukee tools because of this build and that’s fine with me.
Still cheaper than the $30k boat that I would still make mods on anyway.

There's buy once cry once, or from another point of view: barrier to entry. You didn't shit on the cheap tools much which is good, because a lot of people wouldn't even attempt some projects if they had to lay out 3-4 times as much for the same tool from a higher end manufacturer.

100% agree. But it’s different when you’re on a professional shop you need to have a certain grade of tool I would totally have our tools and other tools like them if all I did was DIY stuff occasionally out of my garage.

Your videos convinced me to buy the m12 rivet gun and bandsaw. These two tools made my build better for sure.

The 18v bandsaw is a beast, use if cutting 1/4” steel light poles

I'm on the M12 line myself, coupled with the packout drawers and organizers to keep it all from rolling around in my truck. Home Depot still has the 2 pack of the 3.0aH xc batteries on sale for $99. I snagged up two packs of them over the weekend

Home Depot also has 2 6amp/hr XC batters with charger plus a free tool.

At harbor freight you can buy a one year or two year warranty on all your power tools and they'll replace them no question asked probably why he has harbor freight power tools..

LMAO so there’s a revolving door of free tools all the time?

Yeah maybe I’m retired carpenter now but used Hilti for the last 25 years of a 43 year career. They are industrial grade plus the boss bought them👍

I would love to have that Milwaukee band saw 🪚. That's what I need 😀. Milwaukee is more expensive than DeWalt, by a long shot. Anyway I'm getting closer to figuring out what layout I want and what works best for me and my son. Thank you for this video I've got enough tools to get the job done 💯. I be watching alot of your videos and commenting on them too sorry 😂 I be a member too. Just got to get read of membership I don't use anymore.
