i came here for this. it could be anyone of the residents tired of having their trashcan dug through or who has a secretly sick sense of humor, but i don't think so. more often, i wonder if it's one of the nature spirits or one of the other paranormal entities that like to hang around the forest, the mountains, the mines, or the old abandoned train tracks and pool house.
that is a good theory but, wouldn't the rocks come at the back side then? I imagine he thinks someone's throwing them if they're coming from the entrance side, not the back or top
At first I thought Shane was just the town cynic and then I learned that Shane was me. I grew up being mentally and physically abused by my father who was also an alcoholic, and unfortunately I wound up following in his footsteps. Went down a terrible path trying to figure out what my place was in the world and unfortunately led me to lean into liquor and drugs trying to dull my PTSD episodes and depression. After finally being sick of constantly believing that the only consistent things in my life was jail or death, I finally mustard the courage to seek help and stop letting the bottle and my messed up trauma rule my life and decided to go back to school and finish the degree that I started but never ended up finishing because of car and money related reasons (and what probably set me further down my path to destruction). I've been 2 years sober and should be finishing my Bachelor's in Psychology and Anthropology in 2 years and then hopefully going onto my Masters so I can try to help others that fell down a similar path as I did or anyone else that needs it. I'm not saying that because I want to be congratulated for finally doing it, but more so as a warning that even though Shane is a fictional character his tragic story is one that a few of us can relate to and if you or anyone that you care about is going through those types of thoughts that they should know that it's not the end of the world. Some days are easier than others and some days those thoughts still rule my day, but at least I know that life is still worth it, and I'm glad that I found some value to my trauma to make it work for me instead of against me.
I just thought Jas called Marnie her aunt because that’s what Shane calls her, and it’s simple and stuck. I’ve called plenty of people though my life my “aunt” even though they weren’t related to me lol. I just see it more as a female role model/ caretaker title in that specific situation. Or maybe I’m just weird and put too much thought into it😂
morris really is just an employee of joja, the same way the farmer was before the game. store managers work for their store and oversee the people employed at the location but morris isn‘t going about digging mines, he‘s just a guy with a job
50:21 i wish we can make him live in our house because when you get married i can’t say the baby’s are counted as child because there’s nothing to them they’re just big chunky baby’s laying on the floor
I think it's beautiful that the npc have depth, they have personalities and act just like humans do. I think that the creator did a great job, especially when it's a one man show.
I'm not gonna fully defend Pierre here, but when you take some of his actions from the perspective of a passionate small business owner, his desperation and sometimes morally grey tactics make a bit more sense. also joja absolutely is harming the environment. There is no big corp that cannot do so
Look, I used to hate on penny because she was boring and a damsel in distress. That was purely out of ignorance, now that I know about penny, I feel awful.. I would not marry her though. She does deserve someone great for her
“The millionaire doesn’t have to pay taxes just like in real life” went through recording, editing, and posting just to be proven wrong three times instead of just leaving it out
Clint gets way too much hate. He's very obviously simply an awkward guy without any ill intent. The fact that people treat him like that, makes me feel bad for all the real-life Clints who have to endure this kind of hostility.
The throwing rocks at Linus's tent. I'm thinking, he lives next to a cliff. Small rocks break loose and fall on his tent.
This is plausible. He does seem a little paranoid at the start of the game.
Omg you're so right I love that idea

Exactly. While i dont call him uncle, i think of my dads best friend as an uncle
If I know someone is a relative of mine, but I don't know their exact title, I just call them "aunt" too 💀
@@vlc-cosplayer aunt, uncle and cousin for the win lmao😅
I seriously have so many aunts, uncles and cousins I’m not even related to haha.
i romanced shane in my first playthrough of the game, it legit made me cry a few times
canon event.

theres a heart event where you attempt to do this but linus declines because he enjoys living in nature
1:14:32 I once saw a theory that Linus is a druid (celtic priest),and that makes a bit of sense, especially considering his cutscene with Leo
I would’ve never known how to finish birdies quest if I never watched this … 😭
The wiki is always my best friend but especially during this quest hahahahaha. Mostly the Arctic shard that threw me off the first time.
My money would be on Pierre doing the stone chucking.
The moment he lied about my eggs i hive him….. i quit selling my shit to peare the pear
9:26
theres a lewis at the top walking by his house so theres 2 lewisis after he clicked the bush 😅

That's like saying Leah moved to stardew from the city and forages and says she enjoys it better as a cope
Like, you literally can invite him to live with you and he rejects it and lose hearts
11:59 Sometimes I think Lewis needs to see a therapist 😵
