The memory that burns in my mind from SVR 2006 is playing the Eddie Guerrero Storyline after he passed away. It's like that awkward moment when you laugh at a funeral.
Serial Miller When Eddy died, I didn't play this game for months. He's one of my top five all time favorite wrestlers. Couldn't bring myself to hit him in a game.

This was my favorite of the Smackdown VS RAW Series. The roster and legends were pretty stacked, easily one of my favorite time periods in WWE. The arenas looked great, the games modes were all fun, I lost days to the creation suite. I made so many wrestlers and checked forums everyday for new recipes. I had The Thing, The Crow, Mr Incredible, Marv from Sin City, The Hulk and Sephiroth from FF7 on my roster. I made so many created championships! You could make your own spinner belts that actually spun! It was crazy. The story mode, while cheesy and horribly mo capped like you mentioned, remains one of my favorites of all time. I did t spend much time in GM Mode, wasn’t my thing but looking back on it, I wish I had. Yet another tremendous retrospective. Can’t wait for the history of Resident Evil.
Highly appreciate the kind words and good stories, dude. Yea, creating wrestlers from CAW formulas was the way of the world back then, hahaha. Much love, brudda.
You should of covered the online mode! It had a strong community, that played that game over all the newer ones. That game was alive online until about 2012. I played that game for 6 years. We would have ref kills 4way tlcs. They had lobbies, with chat rooms. Everyone knew everyone. Leaderboards, records, defend your custom title. Clans, who had titles and ppvs and shows. You can look it up online. That's why 06 will always be the best wrestling game of all time. I played it for 6 years lmao, with friends I still talk to today. We are a close community somewhat. I feel bad for people who never got to experience the online of 06.
I bought this game on psp simply to unlock Jake the snake and my mom was like "why are you buying the same game twice" and i was like "idk... guess i like it" lmao
This was the last wrestling game I truly truly enjoyed for hours on end. Great video as always. Makes me want to find a copy of this today and break out my PS2
1 night stand 2005 was amazing to watch on PPV, but now on their network sucks. The music was all changed. Sandman came out to Metallica’s Sandman song and the whole crowd sang along. So awesome!
RaDicAL808 Someone online has remastered it with the original audio and really good quality footage. It's worth looking up, shouldn't be too hard to find.
@Alonzo Spears You must be looking at new/sealed prices. Both '06 and '07 are trending at $15 for complete copies. PriceCharting dot com is a great resource for checking value, give it a look!

I had all of the Smackdown/SmackDown vs Raw series games. This one was always one I would go back to. I remember finding a website that had formulas to create wrestlers! Those were the days man. Thank you for this series, it was always a wonderful trip down memory lane!
This is where it all began for me. This is what started my fandom of pro wrestling. I still remember to this day visiting my cousin on weekends and playing SVR 06. Months after playing this, my Mom bought me the SVR 3 set collection and I’ve never looked back since.
I have fond memories of getting this for Christmas 2006 along with a PS2. That game solidified myself as a fan of wrestling games, and Static X. The track Start A War played endlessly and I liked it, but I was too young to know who they were. A decade later I would rediscover the band and listening to Start A War brought back so many memories
One of my all time favorite wrestling games reviewed on one of my favorite RUclips channels 💜. I'm looking forward to the next History Of series, and everything else to come.
I have waited long for this video. This is legit my favorite wrestling game ever. Not only that but this was my first ever wrestling game but my very first PS2 game. The amounts of hours spent on this game with older brother and my cousins once we got a multitap were crazy. We did everything elimination chamber, armageddon hell in a cell, royal rumble, etc. The soundtrack was purely awesome, waiting by not forgotten, pieces by dark new day, and unretrofied by the dillinger escape plan are some of our favorites to this day. Season mode was legendary, creations modes were amazing and gameplay was just so damn fun. Sorry for the long comment, but I really have to go into super nostalgia mode when I see videos of this game. It’s that special to me that it has the biggest place in my heart.
I can't believe I forgot about the music! I need to get the songs soon. Such great times in this game all around. I got the multitap way too late, people were moving on to the 360 by the time I got it with a bunch of extra controllers, so I never got to experience the full 6 player glory that could have been.
Alec I feel ya man. I tried to play mine last week but the game wouldn't load and I got impatient and played Here Comes the Pain instead and then Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. 👍🏾🐻
THQ after releasing WWE SmackDown! VS. Raw 2006 : "This is how you make a realistic WWE video game." Also, am I the only person to like WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It?
Just bring it is the last game in the series that feels like the original smackdown 1/2 on psx. Season mode aside, I think Just Bring it is the best of the games that feel like the original. Shut your mouth feels like a different era of wrestling games. Just like how 06 feels so different compared to svr and hctp
I probably put 100’s of hours playing this on PSP it was the first and imo the best entry on the system. I still have it and still play it once in a while
Two things that I miss from these games that the new ones don't do anymore is giving the player there very own locker room that they can customize how ever they want and setting up matches with just CPUs on the hardest difficulty and watching what happens
My favorite SvR game! :) the fluidity of the gameplay, the wacky, out-of-the-box additions to certain match modes, debut of the GM mode, very good story threads in Season Modes. Ugh, spent so many hours on this gem. Great review 616
I also loved to purposely run out of stamina while playing as Taker, just so I could hit The Last Ride and have him fall down too, kinda made the matches more intense lols
I'm a big gamer and originally came to this channel for those "History of" games because, though I really liked the idea of MK and Wrestling games, I just never really played them or got into them growing up. The RE series is just another series like those that I never played, but was always interested in seeing what they were about, so I'm hyped for June ! Thanks!
This was easily the best wrestling game period. It had everything you could possibly ask for. It pretty much took everything good about all the wrestling games from the past and combined them into this game and even had some welcome new additions. This and here comes the pain are the best on PS2!
The day has finally come! This is my favorite wrestling game of all time. You’re the goat, man. Keep up the fantastic work. I love these retrospectives 🤘🏼
Tremendous retrospective as always, man. Right in the feels. One thing I'd like to add is the soundtrack was a litany of catchy songs. And as many hours as we put into these games we start to learn each song word for word. Or try our best to sing along. 🎶You're cutting me in two, and ripping me in threeeee. You're killing with those words you say to meeee🎶
Excellent soundtrack, I was just worried about the video getting pulled/it being overly long if I spent too much more time on it. It’s already the longest TXSO ever!
A great way to end this season of Triangle X Squared Circle. The ladies: Hi boys Ian: How ya doin'? Also SWEET GLORIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT! My week just gets better and better.
I’ll say this. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the RE series only playing a few of the games but because I’m a fan of the way you make these “History of...” series, I’ll definitely be giving this a watch when it airs. Keep it up man!
Nobody tells a story like you do. You’re the best at chronicling wrestling and fighting games on RUclips. Love your content man! This is one of my favorite games of all time! So many hours spent playing this growing up!
616Entertainment thank you dude! This is my new channel but I’ve been following you for a while now whenever I used my personal account under my name. And you come across as really genuine even in the comment section. Always have appreciated that
Man.. a few years ago i was in the process of watching WWF/WWE chronologically from the first episode of RAW. 2005 was such a hard year for me to pay attention to, i eventually stopped watching by 2007 so i can watch mid/late 90s WCW 😍 ahhh the colors!! This game looks awesome though. Woahhh that ECW arena actually looks good for a WWE game!!! 20:02 Bahahaha 😂😂😂 awwwesome. Dude the longer this video goes the better this game gets.
@@616Entertainment lol i use 2 TVs and normally pay most of my attention to the videogames i play, but it's really nice to have a 2nd TV for background noise and to look at during loading or other things
This was the very first WWE game I ever played back in 2006. My brother and I have logged countless hours on this game and still continue playing it to this day. We never get tired of it, and it is much more enjoyable than the 2K games of today imo
I literally bought a ps2 near the end of last year just so I could replay SvR and some other classics. Really liked ya insight into it and can’t wait for the Res series 🤘🏼🤘🏼
This may not be the best of the PS2 wrestling releases but this is the wrestling game I always find myself going back to when I break out the PS2... Also, It was totally insane having this game on the PSP back in the day!!
Bring back Skylanders Yeah it takes some work to get used to. You don’t know how many times I’ve been reversed on in legend difficulty. Still love the game though
I enjoyed this game a whole lot. I remember I was in an eFed group with friends back then, doing our own story lines and feuds with our created characters. Good times! I'm not a real fan of GM mode, personally. But more power to people who like it.
Sad to see this series end, but it's been a fantastic run. Regarding SVR 2006, you forgot to mention the submission mini-games that were added for ground submission finishers, and for sleeperholds out of an irish whip, where that mini-game showed the referee raising and dropping your opponents hand just like on tv.
I didn't forget to mention it, I cut it out of the script. I came back and played this game for nearly 10 hours to record footage and just get a feel for it again and those mini games didn't occur one time. I was like "man, these are so rare it's not even worth talking about." lol Thanks for watching, dude. And it's not the end of TXSO, just the end of Season 1!
Well in defense of the Muhammed Hassan Character: He originally debuted as an American-Arabic Citizen who spoke out against racism and hatred he and his fellow Muslim US-Citizens had to endure. Only problem his that WWE should never be in charge of long-term, nuanced, politically charged story lines. It was only a matter of time until they'd screw up big time, because they handle sensitive stories with as much thoughtfulness as Jay Leno handled Monika Lewinsky Jokes. This and the Eugene gimmick is my ultimate go away heat gimmick, to paraphrase Jay from the OSW Review Podcast
They can claim all they want that Hassan was anti-racist, but that's bullshit revisionist history. He was a middle eastern dude, with a stereotypical appearance, he was an asshole, and he head hooded men hitting the ring to... well, you know. The gimmick itself was racist.
@@Joker_JAK No disrespect to Mark Caproni (I think that was his real name?), he was great at his job. The gimmick he got saddle with was just a little too much. Wasn't his fault. He did what they asked of him.
@@616Entertainment there is (at least in my opinion) nothing revisionist about the original intend of his character and saying that WWE are fucking idiots for portraying him as a heel (I should have made that clear in the original comment, sorry about that). The real stereo typical and racist character traits (such as the praying to summon hooded goons) only came once he was drafted to smackdown. Not that they handled that gimmick with any real grace on Raw either. (Stone Cold calling him and Daivari "Sand People" comes to mind) The man behind the Gimmick did an amazing Job, it's just a shame they handled it with even less sensitivity than even fucking Cryme Tyme and Umaga. But that's Big Vinny's House of Rumps'n'Bumps for ya. I can totally see your point. However, I personally believe that the original intend of the character was doomed from the start, given WWEs track record with such gimmicks.
I remember playing this so much as a kid one of my favourite parts of the game that I was surprised you didn’t mention was the challenges they had. If I remember correctly I think they had 15 challenges for each difficulty. I remember having a blast on the legends challenges
Loved the series, brother. Sad to see it go on the shelf for now. I love games, but wrestling games always have a special place in my heart. Looking forward to the Resi series, but will watch out for more "wrastlin'" in the future!
The game that keeps bringing me back to the PS2 is this game right here. Very easily my favorite WWE game. So glad you got to this before moving on to RE. I haven't finished a single RE game, but I have been wanting to play through them. Especially with all of my old friends getting back into them thanks to the remakes for 2 and 3. I only have them on GameCube, so I might dust that off once I can figure out where my memory cards went.
the game that got me hooked on "SVR" for a few years anyway... dude! im suprised you were happy about the nobodys, (like paul london) like c'mon he was a laughings stok (for vince at least...) ... ANYWAY, your vids are the BEST! was fun growing up with this, and is even More FUN to see you own our childhood as this vid does! N64, PSX, you name it. You're the BEST bud. Keep it UP!!!
This was an awesome video 616! What a way for the series to go on a hiatus. The complete history of resident evil? You just made my day. Super pumped 6/16/20. Keep up with the amazing content
Highly appreciated, dude. And yea, I figured the final SD! game on PlayStation should also be the final episode of TXSO (for the time being). The RE series is going to be great, man. Glad everyone is excited.
If I’m not mistaken, in this game (or maybe it originated in the previous SVR along with the origin of the create a championship mode) you could challenge your friends to a match for your (or their) custom championship. And if you lose the match/ your belt to your friend then you literally lose the saved data file of your belt and it is transferred to your friend’s memory card! Title for title matches were intense!
You have become one of my favorite channels on RUclips Ian, from Mortal Kombat memories and WWF.. I'm 40 and I feel we are the same person lol cheers mate. Hope you have a great safe day my friend.
To boot up this game for the first time and hear Unretrofied by the Dillinger Escape Plan gives mad nostalgia. Of any wrestling game, I love the OST on this one the most.
This by far is one of the best svr games besides 2007 and 2011.... Man I wish 2k could bring back GM mode this was an awesome video no doubt thank u 616 for this
Thank you Conrad’s long lost half brother lol. You continue to bring out the most quality of content. Putting some respect on the name of mah personal favorite Smackdown game. Keep up the great work brother brother.
Now there is another reason to wait for June 16th ( besides my 19th birthday ) , Thank you for this more than awesome videos , greetings and love to you and your channel from Jordan
Great Retropsective! WWE SVR 2006 was certainly the beginning of an evolution of gameplay that had been established in the early PS2 SmackDown titles. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and was blown away with what they did for this title. I enjoyed the season mode a lot. Truly a great game and era for WWE games. If only they made the current 2K games the way THQ and Yuke's made games like SVR 2006.
@@616Entertainment Heck yeah man! Let's just hope they decide to make something special with this extra time they have with no mainline release this year.
Man making me wanna go get a ps2 and svr2006 lol. I was always a big no mercy fan. But the smackdown series was always top tier stuff. Cool video. Keep up the good work man 🔺✖️🔲🟠
A couple of days ago, while I was watching your RE2 playthrough, I thought "I wish he made The History of Resident Evil, that would be awesome." I'm looking forward to watching it, I have no doubts that it's going to be a high-quality production.
Ha! Glad you liked that video. Castro is so good at that game. I knew I was going to do The History of Resident Evil back in 2018, I just couldn't say anything yet. =)
Great Video 616 I was a No Mercy kid but also had a PS2 but I didn't own SvR06. I remember playing it at a friends house all the time when I would visit. The game gave me hours of entertainment and fueled my fire to buy the next game that came out. I got SvR07 and enjoyed the hell out it. Imo SvR07 is the 🐐 of the SvR series.
I’m glad you did this. I love smack down vs Raw it’s my second favorite WWE game aside from 2K14 but only because that was my 1st one so I’m attached to it
Bro. I scared my cat at the end when my jaw hit the floor with a loud "Wwwwhhaaat?" I cannot wait for that! The video took me back, bro. Brilliant job. Thank you.
Good Gawd, what a season finale! Ian, I know I come back and I say this every month, but DAMN did you nail it yet again. I was one of the many who felt the original SvR was a step backwards after HCtP. It was like...they added just enough complexity that I just wasn't able to adapt, and I felt like the series lost me. As a result, I basically bailed on the series, so I ignored SvR 2006 entirely. When the PS3 came out, I gave SvR 2008 a try as a rental, and the graphical improvements were nice, but the massively altered controls just left too steep of a learning curve for someone who had developed the muscle memory for the first five games, so I wrote the series off as no longer being made for players like me. Now, though, you've got me wanting to give SvR 2006 a try. Because, yeah, this DOES look like a massive five-star frog splash over the first SvR, and I kinda want to play it to see how it feels. And hey, if it doesn't wind up being my thing, I've still got HCtP as my go-to for pick-up-and-play, arcade-style wrestling. But if it does...well, what's a bit more space on one of my dozen or so PS2 memory cards, eh? :D Can't wait to see how you handle the Resident Evil timeline come June. I know it will be epic, and you better believe I'll be tuning in! Also, your little dog is ADORABLE!!
Thank you so much for the long comment. And yea, big time, I think you'll really like 2006 if you give it a shot. And I will tell Patches Lugosi that you complimented him. He's sitting right here!
Hi, you do so well man your videos are awesome. Keep doing this man. :) I like your entire story about WCW and Smackdown series you got best way stories to tell about these games. Never bored to listen. I couldn't find any better channel on youtube as you are on wrestling games. I also have all the WWF/WWE games the first two WWF Smackdown games was so great. And the first Smackdown vs Raw (2004) untill 2007 was so epic. 🤭 I had completed whem all. By the way I never completed GM Manager mode on SVR games it's very complicated . The simple way to do that is with Action Replay Max disc for PS2. :) I have the disc and I've done it. But so sad that we'couldn't do the same with WWE SVR 2007 game. I just got Action Replay disc made for games untill 2006 only. :) Love you man, your channel made my day every time so bright and shine❣️ :)
Oh snap! Can't wait for the RE retrospective! I've been on a RE fest over the last month as well, I played through RE2 remake, RE5, RE3 remake, RE1 remake and currently playing through RE Zero.
I remember my older brother buying this game back in early '06. My 11 year old past self was blown the fuck away by the graphics and gameplay, at the time. This was a classic gem back in the day.
*Dont want to spoil* Wow that announcement ! I am super excited for that!!! You have some of the best content on RUclips. Always looking forward to it! Keep kicking ass!
- GM mode with customizable shows (merge it with universe mode) so either Raw vs SD or if we wanna make WCW vs WWF to recreate monday night wars! - Custom music import and usablitiy for personal use only (if theyre worried about copywrite issues) - figure out a way to not have 1000 image cap since some downloadable superstars come with like 10 attire images) - allow multiple save files if theres gonna be a cap, so that the storage capabilities are on the player, not a limit of the game) - Allow superstars to walk to the ring with an accessory (water bottle, weapon, towel, shirt in hand, urn, kendo stick, trash can, shopping cart, etc) - replace 2k towers with created superstar fight to wrestlemania - spend time in performance center working out kinks, NXT for 2 months of events, debut the raw after WM and spend a year fighting for the main event. If you lose around Jan you have a 2nd chance to enter and win the RR - etc. if you win the title year 1 you get WWE Bucks - Use WWE bucks and have WAY more purchasable/unlockable content and DONT sell a 10 dollar 'unlock everything' pack. Make it fun and replayable

The RE series is just another series like those that I never played, but was always interested in seeing what they were about, so I'm hyped for June ! Thanks!
Thanks for watching, dude. I really appreciate it!
This was easily the best wrestling game period. It had everything you could possibly ask for. It pretty much took everything good about all the wrestling games from the past and combined them into this game and even had some welcome new additions. This and here comes the pain are the best on PS2!
Hard to argue with that!
This makes me feel so old I remember playing this so much as a kid.
The day has finally come! This is my favorite wrestling game of all time. You’re the goat, man. Keep up the fantastic work. I love these retrospectives 🤘🏼
Highly appreciate the kind words, Brandon. Thank you!
Coming through in the clutch! Thank you sir. Always love the new content. I have so s great memories with this game
You and me both!
I remember the hype of this game loved every second of it easily one of my favorite wrestling games ever
It's a good one, man.
I am really excited for the history of resident evil and I already know is it's going to be good
You're god damn right. =)
Same here.
gotta be honest i loved the cinematic moves, they were more realistic than previous cutscenes where someone would be snapped in half
Hahahaha, I hear you. I just wish they were done better.
"I'm here to win the title.
I'm here to break necks"
Lmfao
Hahaha, glad you liked that.
Always was disappointed that I was unable to get Jake "The Snake"
A great way to end this season of Triangle X Squared Circle.
The ladies: Hi boys
Ian: How ya doin'?
Also SWEET GLORIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT!
My week just gets better and better.
Dude, hell yea! Thanks for all the support, dude. Means so much to me.
I’ll say this. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the RE series only playing a few of the games but because I’m a fan of the way you make these “History of...” series, I’ll definitely be giving this a watch when it airs. Keep it up man!
Really hope you like it, dude. I intend to present it my way, unlike anyone else ever has. So be excited!
U gotta do the whole series me myself is tryin hella hard to a ps2 to play all the smack down and act games but u made a great review keep it up man
2007 will be the last SVR I cover. I don't like 2008 and avoided 2009, 2010 and 2011. But when TXSO returns, 2007 is likely.
616Entertainment I personally enjoy 2010 and 2011 and 2009 is straight garbage but I understand dude ur vids are awsome and fuckin funny as hell
Nobody tells a story like you do. You’re the best at chronicling wrestling and fighting games on RUclips. Love your content man! This is one of my favorite games of all time! So many hours spent playing this growing up!
Thank you so much, dude. I appreciate that. =)
How long did it take you to get from the first episode of Raw to 2007?
Vast Andrews Smackdown was better than raw during the RA era for sure , I agree that raw was unwatchable back then.
Holy FUCK. How did you manage to watch that much wrestling?!
It's way easier to pick up and play, to this day.
I literally bought a ps2 near the end of last year just so I could replay SvR and some other classics. Really liked ya insight into it and can’t wait for the Res series 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Dougie_Gray same
Glad you're excited, dude!
This may not be the best of the PS2 wrestling releases but this is the wrestling game I always find myself going back to when I break out the PS2...
Also, It was totally insane having this game on the PSP back in the day!!
Dude the PSP version was pretty good, too!
This is the hardest wrestling game I have ever played
Dude, the higher difficulties are straight up reversal fests!
Bring back Skylanders Yeah it takes some work to get used to. You don’t know how many times I’ve been reversed on in legend difficulty. Still love the game though
Nah I got this game for Christmas when I was 6 and I was goated with undertaker
I enjoyed this game a whole lot. I remember I was in an eFed group with friends back then, doing our own story lines and feuds with our created characters. Good times!
I'm not a real fan of GM mode, personally. But more power to people who like it.
Never ever have I clicked off another video so fast. Really excited for the announcement!
Hope it lived up!
Well in defense of the Muhammed Hassan Character:
He originally debuted as an American-Arabic Citizen who spoke out against racism and hatred he and his fellow Muslim US-Citizens had to endure.
I actually liked Hassan. Thought he was a great heel and talented in the ring.
(Stone Cold calling him and Daivari "Sand People" comes to mind)
The man behind the Gimmick did an amazing Job, it's just a shame they handled it with even less sensitivity than even fucking Cryme Tyme and Umaga.
But that's Big Vinny's House of Rumps'n'Bumps for ya.
I can totally see your point.
However, I personally believe that the original intend of the character was doomed from the start, given WWEs track record with such gimmicks.
NBR I fucking HATED Eugene 🙄
the memory's this game was awesome back in the day i miss it i play it over and over again
It holds up!
I am excited for the wwe battlegrounds game but I have played the old school wwe games too
It'll be interested to see what Battlegrounds is.
@@616Entertainment Becky lynch looks like a bobblehead
I remember playing this so much as a kid one of my favourite parts of the game that I was surprised you didn’t mention was the challenges they had.
If I remember correctly I think they had 15 challenges for each difficulty. I remember having a blast on the legends challenges
I had that in the script and cut it out. This is the longest episode of TXSO ever and didn't want to go TOO long and lose the viewer's interest.
Sooooo many memories with this game! The soundtrack was amazing. My go to song for my created guy was Vada- king of the Mat
Nice choice.
The last THQ wrestling game I really enjoyed. Played this a shit ton when I was younger and my favorite in the SVR series.
It holds up, too.
LOVED this game!!! And dude, I Road Warrior popped for the announcement!!! I cannot wait to see this doc! Once again, you outdo yourself my friend!!!
Getting a Road Warrior pop can officially be checked off my bucket list. Thank you. =)
Loved the series, brother. Sad to see it go on the shelf for now. I love games, but wrestling games always have a special place in my heart. Looking forward to the Resi series, but will watch out for more "wrastlin'" in the future!
You might get some wrestling news on 6-16-2020. =)
Gotta find those memory cards!
This channel is the entire reason I got a ps2 n decided to collect old smackdown games
Love this.
the game that got me hooked on "SVR" for a few years anyway... dude! im suprised you were happy about the nobodys, (like paul london) like c'mon he was a laughings stok (for vince at least...) ...
The Amount of Hours I Spent In GM Mode also learning the soundtrack is a moment in time i'll never forget.....damn nostalgia
100%, dude.
This was the first SmackDown vs. Raw game I owned and I played the hell out of it. One of the best wrestling games I've ever played.
I think I agree.
I just started replaying this and I am amazed again 15 years later
Holds up!
You have become one of my favorite channels on RUclips Ian, from Mortal Kombat memories and WWF.. I'm 40 and I feel we are the same person lol cheers mate. Hope you have a great safe day my friend.
Thanks, dude. I hope you're staying safe as well!
Great video my man thanks for the great series look forward to your next wrestling project and also the resident evil series!!
Thanks for the love, Jamie. =)
Damn dude super excited for that Resident Evil retrospective. Good job on all the videos man
Going to be awesome, dude. Thanks for being here!
My brother and I devoted years to this game! Title matches and GM mode. I still play this game as an adult
Dude having a brother that would play GM Mode against you was probably awesome.
To boot up this game for the first time and hear Unretrofied by the Dillinger Escape Plan gives mad nostalgia. Of any wrestling game, I love the OST on this one the most.
Dude hell yea.
this is the best smackdown vs raw ever made. it is perfect.
Mmm, I might agree with that.
triangle x squared O has by far been my favourite series on youtube! looking forward to the new resi series thanks for all the good content
Thanks a ton, dude. You'll love the new series. =)
This by far is one of the best svr games besides 2007 and 2011.... Man I wish 2k could bring back GM mode this was an awesome video no doubt thank u 616 for this
Thanks for watching!
Ian you’re the man! I’m so glad this channel popped up randomly about 6 months ago. I haven’t missed a video since!
Happy to have you here. =)
Oh man I've really wanted a RE deep dive and your the perfect channel for it!#Stoked
You're going to love it. =)
Resident Evil?!? You're just after my heart, aren't ya?? My second favorite series of all time, I can't wait!! Love ya Ian!
Much love, Cameron. Really happy to see a Patron being super excited. =)
Having HIM playing in the backround makes this Video ten times better 👍
HIM closes all of my videos. =)
Thank you Conrad’s long lost half brother lol. You continue to bring out the most quality of content. Putting some respect on the name of mah personal favorite Smackdown game. Keep up the great work brother brother.
I was a PlayStation kid as well and I loved Smackdown so much, didn’t really play through No Mercy until years later as an adult.
Now there is another reason to wait for June 16th ( besides my 19th birthday ) , Thank you for this more than awesome videos , greetings and love to you and your channel from Jordan
Oh shit, happy (upcoming) birthday!
I think most people would enjoy a new game in this style, man.
@@616Entertainment Heck yeah man! Let's just hope they decide to make something special with this extra time they have with no mainline release this year.
Man, History of RE? Keep up the good work Ian.
You'll love it. =)
Man making me wanna go get a ps2 and svr2006 lol. I was always a big no mercy fan. But the smackdown series was always top tier stuff. Cool video. Keep up the good work man 🔺✖️🔲🟠
Thanks for watching, Vinnie. =)
Love this season, this was the best finale possible!
Ooh! Hystory of RE! My dude! YES!
Glad you're excited. =)
Great Video 616
I was a No Mercy kid but also had a PS2 but I didn't own SvR06. I remember playing it at a friends house all the time when I would visit. The game gave me hours of entertainment and fueled my fire to buy the next game that came out. I got SvR07 and enjoyed the hell out it. Imo SvR07 is the 🐐 of the SvR series.
I think people usually argue for either '06 or '07, yea.
I’m glad you did this. I love smack down vs Raw it’s my second favorite WWE game aside from 2K14 but only because that was my 1st one so I’m attached to it
Is that Wings of a Butterfly playing in the bg!? Hell yea!
The entire soundtrack to this video is HIM music. =)
@@616Entertainment fitting for anyone in 2005-2006 that was watching Viva La Bam re runs on MTV hahahaha Probably both of us I imagine
You are the man! I didnt want this video to end. Then when you announced the history of Redident Evil I actually first pumped 😂
Dude you’re going to love it. See you on 6-16-2020!
Bro. I scared my cat at the end when my jaw hit the floor with a loud "Wwwwhhaaat?" I cannot wait for that! The video took me back, bro. Brilliant job. Thank you.
So stoked that you're looking forward to it, Kyle. Thank you!
Can't wait to see how you handle the Resident Evil timeline come June.
You'll love it, Harry. =)
Love the outtakes at the end. More of these please!!
TXSO is on the shelf, man! Unless you mean the outtakes, lol. I slip them in at the end of plenty of videos, you just have to stick around!
BROOO i've been waiting months for this video , i re watched your videos just a couple days ago !! this was my first game (brother gift)
great season finally, so excited for RE history !
Hell yea ! You were super prepared.
Still play SVR 2006 almost daily at work. Held up really well for a psp game. Never owned on PS2 sadly.
It's good on PSP!
I remember my older brother buying this game back in early '06. My 11 year old past self was blown the fuck away by the graphics and gameplay, at the time. This was a classic gem back in the day.
It holds up, too! Big time.
*Dont want to spoil* Wow that announcement ! I am super excited for that!!! You have some of the best content on RUclips. Always looking forward to it! Keep kicking ass!
Glad you're excited. =)
Resident Evil is by far my favorite franchise. Super excited to see you tackle it
It's going to be awesome, dude. Thanks for being here!
Yes! Loved this game, thank you so much for covering it.
Thanks for watching!
Always man. Love your vids.
I actually got fucking hyped when you revealed the history of Resident Evil project!
Good luck my man, wish you the best!
Going to be great, man.
- GM mode with customizable shows (merge it with universe mode) so either Raw vs SD or if we wanna make WCW vs WWF to recreate monday night wars!
- Custom music import and usablitiy for personal use only (if theyre worried about copywrite issues)
- figure out a way to not have 1000 image cap since some downloadable superstars come with like 10 attire images)
- allow multiple save files if theres gonna be a cap, so that the storage capabilities are on the player, not a limit of the game)
- Allow superstars to walk to the ring with an accessory (water bottle, weapon, towel, shirt in hand, urn, kendo stick, trash can, shopping cart, etc)
- replace 2k towers with created superstar fight to wrestlemania - spend time in performance center working out kinks, NXT for 2 months of events, debut the raw after WM and spend a year fighting for the main event. If you lose around Jan you have a 2nd chance to enter and win the RR - etc. if you win the title year 1 you get WWE Bucks
- Use WWE bucks and have WAY more purchasable/unlockable content and DONT sell a 10 dollar 'unlock everything' pack. Make it fun and replayable
My boy Ian with another great upload. I miss GM mode so much
Me too! Thanks a lot, dude.
I CALLED IT! I predicted History of Resident Evil like, sometime last year. That’s gonna rock ultimate
You and I talked about it a looooong time ago, yessir. =)
SvR06 and 07 are two of my favorite post-Smackdown games in the series.
