Mel was an voice acting icon he. His long and iconic career will never be forgotten.
This genuinely touched my heart. To hear that Mel Blanc was such a great Dad and wonderful husband is what matters most. In Hollywood, you'd hear about how some of the celebrities that came across as being the perfect family man or decent down to Earth human being were actually terrible people, i.e., Bing Crosby. I'm happy to know that this great guy who voiced so many of the beloved cartoon characters I grew up with was a genuinely good person. Rest easy Mel!
It saddens me that people of the caliber of Mel and Jack no longer walk this earth, their likes will never come along again but thanks to this channel and others and the wonderful at times internet, they will be with us forever. RIP one of the greatest entertainers of all time x

Mel Blanc was an incredibly nice guy ...A class act all the way. I got his autograph a few years before he died . He didn't create any of the cartoon characters. that he gave voice to, but he certainly gave all of them their personality. He recovered from that terrible car accident. because I believe. even GOD was a fan of Mel Blanc. R.I.P. , Mel , we miss you .

He was right in that ad .I mentioned his name several times and got"who?" From most people.
He could’ve reprised his roles as the classic characters on Tiny Toon Adventures which that would’ve been his final performance before he died.
@joshuamunn2410 how do you know Mel Blanc was all set to reprise his roles as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck in Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue?
I would imagine if Mel didn't end up in the hospital and ultimately passed away he probably could had reprised his roles at the time then probably would had stepped down during the decade.
