As a Seahawks fan, I hope they either overpay him or lose him. There's no way I could be happy seeing him take a deal lmao.

Well whatever he's paid it'll be an overpay, because IMO every receiver is getting overpaid these days, I don't think any receiver deserves 30+ million, not Jefferson, not the Browns, not Tyreek... but it's what the market is, the same delusional market that pays Daniel Jones 40M/year because they think the alternative is much worse.
And I doubt he, nor any other high end player, "takes a deal" for their team.
i’m a 49ers fan. we don’t use him enough to pay him top receiver money in my opinion. Last season he had 105 targets. when you look at the receivers making the top money they have over 165 catches.

Corrected it for you, because I know you're not still trying to push that "dink and dunk" narrative for the QB who had the most attempts of 20+ yards, 30+ yards, 40+ yards, and was still in the top 10 for 50+ yard attempts (but those numbers are small), those are actual air yards too not including YAC yards. No one who actually watches football games thinks that's what the 49ers are all about, and any team that plans for that being what the team is mostly going to do will end up with a loss.

They drafted a wr in round one. If that rookie wr doesn’t look good in his 1st season, they will resign Aiyuk, if he looks good, Aiyuk is gone. Or, Samuel gets the boot and he resigns

He has no leverage in this situation. He is still under contract, if he sits out the season it won't count and he will still owe a year on the rookie contract. On top of that the 49ers can tag him for 2 more years. He's not worth more than St Brown. He will sign for 27-28 m per year or he will be playing out his contract and playing under the tag. The 49ers are not getting rid of him for just picks and the commanders don't have a player good enough to trade for him straight up.

@@BigR365 the 49ers have right now 32m in cap room. That rolls over to next season, unless they sign somebody during the season because of injury. The extension of BA won't hit this year's cap, and they have been staggering contracts so they will have money to pay Purdy, BA, and Mooney Ward if needed. I will say Taylor Swift selling 300m in jerseys increased the cap this year by like 25m which helped out a lot.
