Then they get the big bucks and either play average or even below average. Too much pressure trying to live up to that money. Plus.....oftentimes they (and their blood-sucking agents) don't really know what they are worth. The coaches do, but the players tend to have a glorified view of themselves. And of course the agents want as big a contract as possible so they get more $$. That's just my opinion.
