Thanks for this very thorough summary.
I had trouble downloading the libraries etc. but got there in the end. Typical of Revit, / AutoCad crap. The uk libraries don't come with the basic storefront doors and windows, you have to download the US libraries for it to work. Found another video on this and learned yet another thing to complete the task.
One little thing you missed, when you place a curtain wall and then another one at an angle the corner mullions clash. You can (unpin one mullion and then replace with an L mullion) and hey presto! Mullions are really comprehensive. (This was in another video)

you can also create a normal wall but you have to modify his material to glass, just replace concrete with glass and then you can create your glass door in that wall with complication

All you need is to create a wall and place your curtain wall on it I do recommend it for concept building design but not for real buildings as it’s a pain in the... to manufacture and buy elements
Think about glass and profile bending forces etc 😉
I would like to see more about dynamic families
How to create a door or a window family or dynamic mullion family where you can change box depth for example
flashings, brackets and many more 😉

I have some tutorials in my channel that deal with more advanced parametric families if you're interested.
I also plan on doing an advanced door series as I know there is a lot of information to consider for these families also.
Nested profiles are a great idea too, I'll think about a dynamic curtain frame tutorial in future!

Very Good Arc. Bulkan but, am having an issue having the windows and doors placed in curtainn wall when i try to include them in the legend. they usually come up as 900mm high as against the 2100mm. plese how can i selve this issues?

I have a problem now with revit
It doesn’t shew the 3d model or the elevations, when i firts click any view it appears ok but i clicked anywhere for once everything suddenly disappeared , and when I hover over the drawing it temporarily show whatever i am hovering over
Any idea why this happens?

It sounds like your graphics card is struggling to show 3D geometry - what are your computer specs?
Try adjusting your hardware acceleration settings also, this can help lower end computer specs;

Aussie BIM Guru it is mac pro 2018 and i use parallels with windows 10
This happened just after an upgrade that happened for the parallels 😐 do u think i should delete the parallels and reinstall it? Or remove revit itself🤔

@@aihakan No worries, happy to help. I'm not that experienced with parallels and impact on graphics but it's never worth any harm to try a fresh install and see if that fixes the issue, especially if the parallels were upgraded post install.
A lot of websites I've found are recommending 'bootcamps' instead if it is an option - not sure how this is managed but it seems to be a popular suggestion.

Very useful courses and clear explanations. But there is no need to see a small video on the left-bottom side. İt is distracting and also a bit annoying. İ think, it would be better if you dont put that. A clear window is the best.

@@swaroops3541 A new technique I've experimented with lately is to actually do curved curtain panels as walls with profiles on bottom/top.
