    Nice tutorial. I got it to work eventually - only thing you forgot to highlight is "append to end" for the array settings. Otherwise the doors overlap weirdly when toggling the Closed setting.

    After completing all the steps, and going to family types to adjust the number of doors from 2 to 4, it will show 2 extra doors cramped together in the left side. Wondering how to solve this issue.

      @@BINHE615 Oh it's good alrdy.After rewatching yr video for 2 times, at the part where we modify the array to add a parameter to label "No.", i forgot to tick "Append to End" right next to the label box.

    It would be helpful if you write the formula of the panel offset, the quality of the video doesn't allow to see in detail and the mouse cursor is covering what you write so it's impossible to see if it need ( ) , . =, I could so everything and got stuck in there. 😑

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  2 года назад +5

      Sorry about that. The formula is: if(Closed,Single Panel Width,0) Of course, the parameter names need to match those you have in your family. Let me know if you still have questions. :)

    how to make a sliding gate with an inserted pedestrian door?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  11 месяцев назад

      You can make a door family first, not a wall based though, then nest it into the sliding door family. Have a try and let me know if you need further assistance.

    Hey man i followed all the steps but when i want to add the formula width/no. i get this error
    Instance Parameters can't be used in Type Parameter formulas.
    Type Parameter "Single Panel Width" is driven by Instance Parameter(s): "No.".

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  2 года назад +1

      Change the "Single Panel Width" from Type to Instance first, then you will be use it in the formula for the "No."

      You can add material parameter to the nested panel family.

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  8 месяцев назад +1

      You can edit the single panel, and add frame, glass, etc. and load it back into this family.

    Appreciate it, perfect, Could you please explain more about If(Closed,Single pannle width,0)

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  2 года назад

      Okay, let's assume the parameter name is Offset, so Offset=if(Closed, Single panel width,0).
      What this formula do is to apply the value of "Single panel width" to "Offset" when the parameter "Closed" is true (box checked), and the "Offset" equals 0 when the parameter "Closed" if not checked.
