I've tried having only one car as both a daily and a toy and it doesn't work, as you know. 2 cars is better but only if the daily is highly reliable, versatile, and not embarrassing. A nice pickup truck plus a toy that can also be streetable is ideal....unless you have room and money for a utility truck, an economical daily driver and a dedicated track car. a v6 mid sized pick up could tow the vette and act as a very good daily driver....

Hey Taylor, about the jag.. make sure to check the timing chain of the jag. The older ones break quite often. Just remove both rockercovers. As a mechanic of Jaguar i've seen this alot. Greetings of the Netherlands. Realy like your channel. Keep on rolling!
I learned this trick when i was working one day a guy showed me, if your tire comes off the rim/beads you can use wd40 and spray on the inner side of the rim and make sort of a fuse with it. then light it and it pops the tire back onto the rim. i did this on a tractor and it was loud but it kept me working!

When you are washing your car you want to start from the top to the bottom so you do not drag all the dirt from the bottom to the top. You should also use two buckets so that you can rinse off the wash mitt before putting it back in the soap. Keep up the great vids tho!
Get a OS Giken Super Lock LSD w/ 3.73 for the C5 corvette! ( For the gearing and the posi for better drifts, to make room to increase the power, and not blow up the stock one.)

It doesn't make sense until you do it, and get involved with the community. Then it really clicks, and you begin to see why so many people pour their heart and soul into doing a sideways burnout. I would suggest being careful drifting your daily. When I did it, I just made sure I always had enough money to buy a cheap daily if something terrible happened.
i think you should sell pretty much all your cars except the miata and the corvette. the jag would be a really cool build but for someone who has money to just throw at it. with the money you get from the other cars you can save and get something else or invest the money into the corvette or into the miata and get that thing going. either way great channel man! one of my favorites!

my 2 cents... sell the G20 and use some of that money to buy a decent used stock motor for the Jag, swap it in and use that as your daily. Then start working on the corvette? At least then the Jag can be on the road and getting some love. Once the miata is gone and the corvette is done and you're ready to work on the LS swap in the Jag, then get another daily at that point. Just my thoughts...

I have a 1998 jaguar xj8 and it's crap. The motor to the car is great but I live in the north east and there's rust all over and it leaks like crazy. I love the car though it'll run amazing and in the summer I love driving it. It's sad to see it go

I'm not sure what year yours is a 2006-2007 v8 jag is still worth quite a bit. Are you sure it's not worth rebuilding the original motor? For preservation purposes if you ever went to sell it, a jag person wouldn't buy it with an LS swap. Just a thought. The jag v8 is actually pretty easy to work on once it's out.
