Thanks for the memories! My first bike was a new black 150 Dream in about 1963. I loved that bike and my future wife and I traveled many miles with her until Uncle Sam came calling in 1965. I don't know what happened to that bike, but it was gone when I came home one time after VN.

Nice motorcycle. I have a 1964 305 Dream that I got while in junior high school. I’ll be 73 next month. The bike has 11,000 miles on it and I started it last month for the first time in probably 50 years. Honda sure knows how to build them. Mine is also red.

1966 on my 16th birthday I bought a new one for $399.00. I rode that bike to work in the summers. 22 miles each way in central Pennsylvania. Never had a problem with it. When I joined the USMC at 20 I sold it. I ended up in Japan and bought a 350 Honda scrambler and rode it daily for a year.

My first bike was a red Honda 160 Dream. Beautiful, smooth, classy. Loved the slanted forward twin design. Later, the similar 1980 Suzuki GS450S became my forever-ride.

1950s, early 60s European style, the fenders keep the water off of your legs better than the modern stuff. The 305cc Dream was a nice medium-sized touring bike.👍

Had one as a teen . Got from my brother. Problem in too gear, it felt like the chain was slipping but it was something in the transmission. Dad took it to the shop and they said it was fine. To this day, I think my dad was lying to me because the cost to repair would have been high. Wish he could have been straight with me because I felt he AND the shop let me down. I could have lived with the truth.

I had a 1966 Honda CA78 20 years ago I brought back to running condition and sold it. I am now in my 70's and I found one close by that is a lot rougher than my first one but I can't wait wait to get it going as the engine sounds good after carb rebuild. Can't wait to ride it as I gather up parts!

How do you like the jump from first to second gear, on my 67 Dream it seems like a stretch. I love riding it, I just wish the roads were a little smoother by me. I’m dreading taking the front fork apart, you didn’t make it sound easy. Thanks for posting this video 😊

Got one for Christmas (used) 1968. Loved it but hit hard times and let it go in 81. I ride a 1997 Shadow ACE 1100 cruiser for the last 20 year but it's getting too heavy (647lbs). I'm 75 now and don't want to quit riding altogether but not interested in long distance riding anymore. But I'm seriously thinking of finding another 305 dream so I can ride locally. It weighs half of my bike lol. Mine was just like that , red. Nice.

@@motorcyclerewind I need to get my CB360 running before the wife will let me get another. But when I do it needs to be a complete bike. I started with a pile of parts on this one and it's taken longer than expected because I didn't realize small stuff was missing or non-functional until it was too late.
