I remember my Dad mentioning tanks being sliced up like beetroot as he put it. In WW2, he was in the 1st Polish Armoured Division who entered into France in late July, 1944 later crossing over into Belgium and Holland and finally into the German port of Wilhelmshafen. Wrecked fighting vehicles of every kind were to be founded everywhere and we have a photo of Dad taken in what amounts to a tank scrapyard in Holland, Dungen I think it was. What a pity that so many men lost their lives and what would they think if they saw the degradation of humanity that exists in our world today?
@@JohnSmith-ei2pz I am not sure we can say that altogether. While it is true that France bowed out in 1940, we cannot forget the Free French under Gen. de Gaulle who were instrumental in the recapture of Paris and liberation of France. As for Allies, there are Allies and 'Allies'. Here I am particularly mindful of the Polish forces under British command. Whatever the level of their exploits, these finally were of no benefit as in the latter part of the war, Messrs Churchill and Roosevelt made it clear to Stalin that courtesy of them, he would receive 'carte blache' as to the future form of government in Poland following the defeat of the Nazis.
Most of them in this video were not destroyed by planes or artillery, the tanks on the N13 road were destroyed by Paratroopers, the Tiger at Rauray was knocked out by British tanks, the Panther tanks were all knocked out by British tanks or abandoned and the tanks at Villers Bocage were destroyed by At guns and Cromwell fire.

Many different nationalities fought the Germans. Sadly the french could not be bothered and waited for the allies to do all the fighting!

I noticed a lot of French vehicles repurposed by the Germans.
Well they had to show the white Feathered french what they were for!
...... Interesante el video , ..... Gracias por colgarlo , ...... el horror de la guerra en estado puro ...
Notice how most of the knocked out tanks were disabled by Bombers and Artillery....

The U.S halftrack/ German halftrack combo was rather strange looking.

D Day Come uccidere una mosca con una cannonata
多くのドイツ戦車が撃破されてますが乗員達はみな脱出できたのでしょうか?
アーメン。
