I'm with you all the way on Musk Loggerheads. I've had mine since 1987! And he's the best, watching him is better than television. Keep at it, you are doing great!
Glad to see you're back dude! Your Musk turts and the wood turtle are super cool :) I have a painted and a False map that I cohabitate. I have a Russian Tortoise as well, watched some of your older videos before getting him and he's doing quite well. Hope to see more content from you, awesome to see another person from around here that's into turtle keeping!
Believe me the turtles and many many many many fish species very much so prefer the Dark Water habitats from driftwood. It's healthy for them for starters and they feel safer. Tanning tannins in the water makes them just feel so at home and make them feel secure. they love Dark Water and thrive in Dark Water healthy for them
I am about to buy a 75 gal tank for 2 red ear sliders one is 2.5 yr old and 6" L female. Other 3.5" male, maybe add fish later. Only 75 gal I can find is like yours. Am looking for a tall/deeper one which takes less space. Would you know where I can locate, must be glass. Also what filtration system do you have ?

Great video how's the gator snapper has he gotten big.
Nice turtles! Any aggression between them? I have a female loggerhead and not sure how well she'd do with another musk.
Question for you where did u get the permit for your easterns very interested in breeding them as well as my redfoots
You have to get it though your state’s department of natural resources.

Do musk turtles need a basking platform and basking light? Or can they metabolize on their own
They do require a basking spot and UVB lighting.
Can we get an update on the big turtle pond?
Sure can!
